2 months ago Negative experience: One star is honestly too much. Rent was not paid to us for months, there was little to no communication with the tenant, and no real property management was done. We were left to deal with issues ourselves while still being charged fees. Completely unreliable and not worth the cost.
2 months ago Negative experience: It's too bad They don't care about their customers and haven't come to fix our refrigerator since we received it. It's broken and they haven't come to repair it. They're terrible. We want to move out of this house; they don't answer our calls and the situation is always bad. There's a cockroach in the house, and they refuse to spray pesticides or fix the problem. I advise against renting anything from them.
5 months ago Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional experience regarding our security deposit. We were the tenant of one of the property in Saskatoon under this company We paid a $1,350 security deposit and were told by the staff member who completed the move out inspection that our full deposit would be mailed to us. We did not damage the unit and no issues were raised at the time of inspection. After waiting for almost a month and after giving so many messages regarding the security deposit we finally received a cheque, but it was only $694.50, with no explanation and no itemized deductions.Since then, we have tried calling, emailing, and texting multiple times to resolve this matter and received no response and they don’t even have any physical office in Saskatoon that’s why they doesn’t reply to anything. To make things worse, when you leave a review and are directed to email your concerns, the email address provided does not actually exist, which makes it even more frustrating to get any response or accountability. Holding a large portion of a damage deposit without explanation and ignoring repeated attempts to contact is unacceptable. This company is a totally scam They will try their best not to refund the security deposit and if they will it will be half of the security deposit other half they will never give you I strongly advise others to keep all documentation and records if dealing with this company.

1 year ago Negative experience: Worst rentals men I've ever came across tried to evict me over them being wrong on my lease very unprofessional and I promise you ever good google review is them asking you to give them a review with a gift card for you to say something nice about them that speaks itself save yourself the hassle and never use this property manager I'll see you losers in court!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: The property agent is matured, presentable and professional. The presentation of the property is very good, less talk, jusy straight forward and we were give a lot of chances to ask questions. The only issue we encountered was, after the viewing, we anxiously and felt desperate when we called for follow up as we sunmitted all the required documents and the deposit via etransfer and we anxiously attempted to contact the management, been redirected to voicemails, no call back received until after 6 days, we received a call and asking how was our experience, we haven't heard about the result of our application and the etransfer we sent remained on "not received by the recepient" status. These two major portion of the application process still "hanging" that left us our application with question mark and a scratch on our heads.

Good Doors also have a really useful app so I don’t need to contact with anyone by phone or in person to get maintenance or smth. Totally recommend

1 year ago Negative experience: We were shown the house, and applied. You need to show them 2 stubs or bank statements plus your photo ID for every person who is an adult, then they want to do a credit check which hurts your credit score and an etransfer for deposit "tell them password" after you been accepted. Then the nerve to call me asking for a Google review. We have done all of that just to get rejected for the house we applied for. I am not happy with this company our credit score has gone down a point which is a big deal to us.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Had a problem with my toilet bowl handle it had broken off to the point we couldn't flush the toilet I put in a maintenance request to get it fixed a like 10pm ish and it was fixed the following morning with no issues they were quick and efficient in getting it fixed in a timely manner

1 year ago Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with GoodDoors and our agent, Kevin. He communicated with us well and was right on time for viewing the property. He was helpful and knowledgeable. We were sad that the property was so run down, but he gave us a lead on a better one.
1 year ago Fantastic experience: I had an issue with the drains in my unit recently and brought it to the attention of maintenance in the evening…the next morning they showed up but I missed them! So they came the following morning for maybe 30 mins max and fixed it all up very quickly! Very happy with the service of this management…they get things done very quickly and thoroughly whenever there is an issue
1 year ago Negative experience: If you haven’t had the “pleasure” of renting with this property management company before, I would suggest turning the other direction. If you decide to give them a try though, keep your guard up and keep any/all email chains you have with them on hand. Take it from me, you’re going to need them. In the past 1.5yrs I have been renting from Leenan/GoodDoors, I have had them misplace my rent and threaten to evict me. After numerous phone calls back and forth with them for well over a month and proof of documentation stating payment sent, they located our money and apologized for the inconvenience they caused us. To follow up, they raised our rent by $150 two months later. I understand that sometime these things happen, but I had to contact this company numerous times because of their lack of responsiveness as well as lack of communication amongst one another before this issue could be resolved. Additionally, we had a pinhead-sized leak in our shower head which was spraying up towards our ceiling caused water damage. Before we were aware that this was the issue, I had contacted the property management company immediately to come out and take a look at our ceiling as there was a tiny water spot forming. By the time maintenance made it out, the tiny spot formed into a large water spot. Maintenance misdiagnosed the issue. They figured the bathroom fan needed to be upgraded, so they replaced it and fixed up the ceiling. That evening there was another water spot. Maintenance came back and found that there was a pinhead-sized hole in our shower head line that was leaking. They replaced the shower head (which did in fact put an end to the issue), but this time informed us that they would need to let the ceiling completely dry out for 3 months before fixing it again. They left our bathroom a complete disaster. I waited for 3 months and then contacted them to have them come back, nobody came. Contacted them to follow up another 3 months after that, nobody came. Again 2 months after that, finally somebody came out and informed us that they will need to get financial approval from the house owner in order to fix our bathroom ceiling. They contacted us a month after informing us that the work was approved and that they would be back in to finish their work. They did a terrible, sloppy job with their repairs and left a huge mess for me to clean up. They didn’t lay down any type of covers down to catch the paint drips from the ceiling, so I had to scrub pair out of the flooring, the bathtub etc. Amber (Leenan/GoodDoors property manager) contacted me and informed me that if we have this issue happen again it’s our responsibility as the tenant to pay for any future damages in the bathroom. Which is absolutely not our responsibility as we reported this issue and took all of the proper steps necessary to resolve this issue. It has been a headache renting with this company. All this suite was good for was its reasonable rent price. Which is going up more and more, and at this point, after all of the issues we’ve experienced with them is not even worth the money it’s saving us. Happy to say we will be moving out ASAP. Leenan/GoodDoors requested I write a review on their page and informed I would be paid $20 for my honest review. I hope that Leenan/GoodDoors reads this over and changes for the better. Time will tell.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: With my property management I can call on them and also make an online meld I've had recent problem with my outdoor faucet and it needed to be fixed for us to use it. Maintenance came in and fixed it on my scheduled time and was super friendly and fast and did a great job. I feel confident when it comes to any problems that need to be solved. Thank you.
