Fantastic experience: Bilal is an outstanding real estate broker. He goes above and beyond for his clients which is just what we needed when buying our first home. There are so many unknowns as a first time home buyer. What professionals do I need for this process, when do they need to be contacted? I know what positives to look for in a home, but what negatives should I be looking for? What kind of renovations will this house need and how much will that cost? These are all big questions we had and Bilal was able to address them immediately. From the first time we sat down for a video call introduction with Bilal, he walked us through the whole process. You will need the real estate broker first, then the mortgage agent, and finally the lawyer once the offer is accepted. It was a lot of information to take in all at once, but Bilal knew this and sent us a few resources for us to look through after our initial meeting. Once the search started, we sent Bilal some places that we were interested in seeing. He set up showings and was with us while we toured the homes. Bilal was an amazing resource on these tours. He wasn't afraid to point out issues he saw while walking through the houses which was incredibly helpful to us. When you tour a home, you get so overwhelmed with the idea of living there that sometimes you miss the problem areas. Whenever a problem in a house was identified, he would give us some ideas about how to fix the problems. For example, if you have a short basement, you can underpin - dig out the basement a bit to get a few extra feet of height. Or, if the current electrical panel is 100 Amp it can be changed out for a 150 Amp or 200 Amp panel. As someone who has never owned a home, I had no idea about any of this, so Bilal's information was always very useful. Bilal is also very connected. For any renovations we discussed, he always had some contractors that he would recommend. When we needed a home inspection done, Bilal recommended a home inspector he had worked with before. He even sent us over an example of the home inspector's reporting style to confirm that we would be comfortable with the service before booking. Bilal contacted the home inspector for us, set up the appointment and was actively present at the inspection, answering any questions I had. Bilal provides an amazing service. His professionalism is top notch, he is incredibly polite, and gets things done immediately. Very organized and keeps you updated so you know what stage you are in and where you need to go next. If there is ever any confusion, he is always available for a chat and is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend Bilal if you want someone who is dedicated and will go above and beyond for you!

Fantastic experience: My spouse and I had a great first home buying experience working with Bilal. We felt heard, well-informed, and able to direct the process at a pace we were comfortable with, using the team we wanted to work with. We reached out to Bilal based on a recommendation from a mutual friend who had worked with him to find a condo in the same part of Toronto we were interested in. We started with an introductory video call to go over the basics and get a sense of how the process would unfold. Bilal was very helpful in explaining the step-by-step of how the purchase process would move from agent to mortgage broker to lawyer and what each would be doing along the way to get us across the finish line. During the search we considered ~20 properties and chose to schedule showings for ~5 within our desired neighbourhoods, eventually making offers on 2 of them. Location was our primary concern and Bilal adapted his search criteria to meet our needs, quickly finding many homes that fulfilled our requirements. Each step along the way he offered to put us in touch with other professionals he trusted to help with any other aspect of the buying process (mortgage broker, lawyer, home inspector) or with post-purchase renovations (electrician, contractors, etc). In the end we opted to go with a mix of professionals he recommended along with some we were already comfortable working with. Between the long hours he spent driving in and out of Toronto, numerous late night calls and early morning texts, time spent clearing up errors and omissions by listing agents, and I kid you not, a literal bank error (down payment deposit made into the wrong account by bank staff) Bilal took care of everything for us. Aside from the time spent in person doing showings and taking calls, we went about our daily lives as usual during the busy run up to the holiday season. I have no reservations in recommending Bilal, especially to first time buyers. This is not some part-time weekend warrior, or end of career agent who won't make time for you. Bilal holds himself to a high professional standard that will be self-evident from your first call.

When I initially went to Bilal, it was just for some friendly advice. I was experiencing a lot of issues with a troublesome tenant, and my previous Realtor didn’t provide me with any helpful information or offer to get involved in any way. After struggling with the situation for a long period of time by myself, I eventually confided in Bilal, and he did what he always does - he went absolutely above and beyond. Fantastic experience: I recently bought my first home from Bilal around the same time the city was entering lockdown due to COVID-19. Being a first-time home buyer, I was quite nervous as to how things would play out now that we have to factor in the pandemic. Fantastic experience: Owning property downtown seemed to be such an impossible dream for my husband and I. When we needed encouragement and support, he was there to do this and more. We finally did find our perfect home, in our favourite neighbourhood of the city. He listened to all of our lifestyle preferences and somehow found a place that was close to all of the nature trails and parks that I loved with the convenience of the city streets/bustling businesses just a few blocks away; all within our budget. I will forever recommend his help and expertise to all of our friends. You want to be in good hands with the biggest purchase of your life and there is just no one better than him.
