Fantastic experience: Buy Sell Love Durham has not once, not twice, but now 3 times helped me with purchasing and selling. Wendy and Lindsey were so helpful and his team were very motivated. I truly have had such good experiences with each process each time I have made life changes. My first experience was selling and buying. Lindsey made it all so easy and we were able to sell at a good price in order to make our upgraded purchase. All the way back to 2000 this first one occurred. This time it was a buyers market- which meant stock was low. Selling was quick - bur finding our dream home was the challenge. But it happened and it happened perfectly! My next experience was in the purchase of a townhouse as I was getting divorced and needed a place for myself and my daughter. I gave Lindsey my "wish list" and well - wish was granted. I found my cozy townhouse and paid a very fair and reasonable price. The market was pretty hot at this time and finding a place was a challenge. But they got me all set - this was 2013. Then once again my life has changed in a new direction and I was ready to sell my townhouse and move with my partner. (who already has a home). Wendy and Lindsey were clear about where the market was standing and gave me their insight and advice to get the most and what needed to be done to have it happen. This was super important as this time I had a very clear schedule of when it all needed to go down and closing had to be at a particular date. Even with all my obstacles they were there to make it happen once again! Having their guidance and experience made this sale happen so fast I am still (as is everyone in my life) in shock by how quick the house sold. As 2025 has been full of challenges in a *buyers* market. But it happened and I am so glad that I can now move onto my next stage in life. I truly cannot imagine having to deal with anyone but them if life changes happen again. Negative experience: Very disappointed with the pricing strategy used by this team. In our area, (Pickering village) homes are consistently selling at a strong market value, but Lovedurham Real Estate Team drastically underpriced a property, which negatively affected the overall neighbourhood average. Responsible realtors are expected to protect community value, not reduce it. I hope they reconsider their approach in the future. ——————————————————————————- Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I understand the seller may have been satisfied, but when two properties in the same neighborhood are sold significantly below the current market value, it affects the entire community’s property averages. As local homeowners, we are concerned because these under-market sales impact future appraisals and comparable values for everyone in the area. It would have been beneficial if the listing strategy reflected the true market potential of the neighborhood, especially considering recent sales at much higher prices. I hope future listings will take this into account, as it’s important for everyone—buyers, sellers, and neighbors—that properties are represented accurately and not undervalued. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: The dust is finally settling and things are slowly getting back to normal after the adventure of our move. While I was away from my house, my hot water tank sprung a leak and there was 1 inch of water on the basement floor.. Lindsay brought over his ShopVac and cleaned up the water. Fantastic experience: Long story short…..my husband and I recently relocated to Ontario, Canada and having moved for work, we were ready to find a ‘settling down’ house, something we would later term our ‘forever home.’ After 35 International moves for work purposes, we knew the country where we wanted to settle, we just needed to find the area, the right house and of course, the right Agent. During an open house, my husband Sean and I met Michael and Jodie Watson, a dynamic duo who were representing another person. If anything, we appreciated how Michael and Jodie gave us our space to look and get a feel for the house. I was in awe of their professionalism; knowing when to step in and guide us and when to leave us to have a quiet, thinking moment. Unfortunately, that house wasn’t for us. That said, my husband and I were undeterred to find a home and having visited a few, we were always asked by the Listing Agent, ‘do you have an Agent?’ we did not but upon having a keen interest on one property, we felt we needed the right representation. It was a no brainer. My husband immediately said, ‘what about that couple, Michael and Jodie, they could help us?’ He was right and so we contacted them and noted we were keen on a property and would they represent us as they would have our best interests at heart. Michael is a ‘one shop all’ guy, he knows the Building Inspector, Brian, who was amazing, the Mortgage guy (another Michael) and all the particulars and terminology with buying a new house in a new country, were new to my husband and I. Michael discussed things we had no awareness nor knowledge of and thus, we always felt in safe hands. Michael and Jodie exemplify professionalism, their work ethos and ethical manner was outstanding. No surprise they have won many awards for what they do! Even longer story short, the Building Inspection Report flagged major issues on that particular property and as a consequence, a very difficult Listing Agent made the transaction even more difficult and in the end, my husband and I decided to walk away from that house. We were gutted but Michael and Jodie would meet with us, message regularly and call us to have a plan moving forward. Michael called by our rental home with a lovely Christmas hamper of which he saw the moving boxes (we never did fully unpack the contents of that 40ft container). He then said, ‘we can’t have you living like that, Jodie and I will find your forever home.’ We felt better because to know Michael is to know that when he says something, he means it and more importantly, he delivers. Shortly after, Michael and I exchanged a message with an image of another house we thought would be a great home. Interestingly, whilst we sent that to him, he had just sent that same image to us within seconds. That’s the thing, Michael understood what we wanted, we had a wish list and a back-up of compromises. Ever so swiftly, we went to see the house, made an offer, got Brian (my trustee Home Inspector again) and without using that back-up compromise list, we purchased our forever home. So, if like me, the thought of buying a house seems daunting if not slightly scary and you don’t know all the facts or details, Michael and Jodie provide a reassurance that they will do the grafting and hard work. They know the market, the trends, the house prices, what to offer, what is included in a transaction…..everything. Thanks to Michael and Jodie, they found our forever home….it really is a ‘happy ever after’ story in the chapter of our lives.

Fantastic experience: My brother passed away and I had to sell the home he lived in for 50 years. I had three real estate agents and one said go in low and the other said go in high. Lindsay was the only one who said lets go in of what it's worth. No gimmicks or smooth talking you into something, but simply trying to help the client out. Also my sister in law (who died before my brother by 8 months) was a hoarder of money. When a potential purchaser was looking under the carpet in a bedroom there was over a thousand dollars hidden there. Lindsay could have kept the money and no body would have know the difference but he is honest as the day is long and gave it to me. So think about it-- a real estate person who has the customer's interest first and foremost and is completely honest what else could a person ask for. That is why I give him a five star rating plus.
