Fantastic experience: Ji Young (Jenny) Kim-Yoo was a fabulous real estate agent! We met her through Zoocasa – she took the initiative to reach out to us and ask us to be her clients. We were purchasing our first home, extremely green to the whole purchasing process. Despite having a good income and willing to pay upfront for 4 months, it was very difficult to get a condo for two reasons. Fantastic experience: This was my first time using a realtor to find a home to rent and it was such a lifesaver! I worked with Mitch Strome and he made the process so easy so I could stay focused on my own work. I was looking for something pretty specific, and he sent me tons of listings and was able to weed out the ones that weren’t pet friendly/didn’t have a backyard so I wasn’t wasting time looking at places that would not have worked. The rental market is absolutely crazy right now, and being self employed meant my application never looked as good as others, but he advocated for me and made sure the home owners were giving me a fair shot. Several times Mitch got us in to see these places first thing after they were listed, and eventually we found the most gorgeous little home for me and dogs. I will definitely be working with him again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Claudio Castro is amazing! Many real estate agents in Toronto wont treat you like a valued buyer if you are not buying a million dollar property, and I felt Claudio was nothing but patient and sincere. He does not pressure you to buy immediately and is very transparent throughout the whole process. I had negative experiences with previous agents that were too high pressure and I immediately dropped all of them when I got to speak with Claudio. I highly recommend him to anybody looking to purchase their first home.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just firmed our first house in Canada despite the crazy housing market. We were assisted by Alessandra Faieta who was amazing from the word go. We didn't have a clue about home buying and she guided us through the whole process. She went out of her way by giving us rides to viewings as we didn't have a car. She helped us strategise when making offers and we were very close with the first two offers. She was very patient and understanding and has a never give up attitude. If you need to find a house or sell a house then Alessandra is the person to go to.

Negative experience: Allyson Neves is a terribly unqualified agent. As a first time home buyer I had expected my agent, an expert in the field, to guide me through the process. Unfortunately Allyson had terrible advice and ethics. Allyson did not do research in terms of additional parking spots. She had said that it was “easy” to rent another spot. Upon move in, found out that was not the case. There were no available spots for rent and the wait list was YEARS long. Additionally the property was purchased with a friend and Allyson ONLY recommended a co-habitation agreement. Which resulted in significant legal fees and over a year long legal mess. Lastly but most importantly Allyson boldly came to the property during a legal dispute to complete an appraisal as requested by the co-owner without my permission. As I did not agree to have the property put up for sale. She completed the appraisal while I was home and did not discuss the details with me. Wicked and nasty opportunistic agent. Allyson guided her clients into a terrible contract and attempted to profit AGAIN from a terrible legal dispute.

She was incredibly patient with me and my requirements, and spent countless hours touring units with me (all of which fit my asks). Extremely professional and I would highly recommend, especially for Toronto Condos.

Fantastic experience: I was recommend Chloe through a friend who'd manage to somehow start and end his condo hunt in a week which peaked my interest as to who his agent was. Working with Chloe during my condo hunt I can say she was an absolute delight and a force of nature! She was extremely organized and on top of things, sending me listings matching my criteria and not applying pressure at all to make a decision. She was extremely patient throughout the process and very transparent. She responded to messages within the minute (I don't know when she sleeps) and when I found a condo I wanted to put an offer on she walked me through all of the tips and tricks to make sure that we closed ON THE FIRST ONE. Fantastic experience: REVIEW #2 [Update: Jan 2022 for 2 rentals] Amir Moradian helped us close two rentals (one for renting our home and the other, finding a rental unit for us) in a very small interval of time, seamlessly. Amir went over and beyond his responsibility for us - he literally had to play the role of 2 agents (thanks to the irresponsible agent on the other side) to close this transaction for us. Amir has an amicable attitude, is calm in adverse situations and exhibits thorough professionalism. He has been super responsive all throughout and has a very good understanding of the GTA market. His effort helped us synchronize both rentals thereby preventing additional payouts for one of them and we are very grateful for that. We'd strongly recommend Amir for rentals. REVIEW #1 [Original review, Apr 2021 for Purchase] Emma and Chase were awesome and we'd strongly recommend them! Chase was punctual, professional, extremely responsive and provided very good insights during sight visits. On some of the challenging appointments (timing restrictions due to Covid), he'd send regular updates on where we stand on the confirmation with the landlord/other agent. This was our first purchase and Emma patiently walked us through the process and we executed seamlessly during Covid. The first educational tour was very helpful in understanding the width of the market and the variety of options available. Emma never pushed us on any of the apartments and respected our decision to step away from the market when 'stay at home' orders were given. Emma is a thorough professional who knows the market extremely well and doesn't stop until you get what you want. We certainly plan to consult them for our future needs and strongly recommend Chase and Emma for real estate needs in GTA.

Their professionalism and honesty are top of class; they were up front on expectations and provided significant value-added insight into our transactions. Fantastic experience: My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Elijah Malcolm of Zoocasa. We were looking to rent an apartment in the Toronto core. We are picky, we wanted something that had natural light, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to subway and not pay an arm and leg for it. Elijah was very patient with us. I'm so grateful for Jelani's help throughout my entire home-buying journey. He made a stressful situation so much easier. Fantastic experience: Chloe from Zoocasa helped us both sell our condo and hunt for a new property. One thing I really appreciate is that you can always trust she put your interest on top of everything. As we were caught in the Toronto housing market bidding war during the COVID, we had to view multiple properties and bid with other buyers. Chloe is very professional and worked late into night to negotiate with the sellers. She also helped us view the property remotely while we were out of town. In the end, we were able to get a property we like with a price within our budget. While selling the condo, Chloe helped us hire a contractor and stager to repaint the walls and stage the room. She was very considerate and checked with us about the price we pay to these third parties, making sure we are not over charged. She also double check with when the deal was closed to ensure we are okay with everything. Overall, we were extremely happy with the service from Chloe. She is trustworthy, punctual, and responsive to the questions. We will definitely work with her again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was introduced to Brian by my cousin. She stated that I should give Brian a shout as she knew we were looking for a rental. Upon our first phone call I knew I had made a good choice and that listening to her was the right thing to do. Brian was absolutely great with our needs. Readers, I’d like to mention that I initially had a realtor who showed us around the Durham region but unfortunately did not have the level background and knowledge about the area in comparison to Robin. Robin not only provided us the listing but was very proactive in providing the neighbourhood background. It made being a first home buyer a very enjoyable process. Robin was also very prompt at responding to all our inquires, no matter what time of the day it was. The compassion and patience she showed us during our search was next to none. Honestly, if you’re looking for the more affordable housing and area with a of potential to boom, Durham region/ Oshawa North is the way to go.
