Negative experience: Terrible service from Coleen Diano. Her handling of this matter demonstrates a complete lack of coordination, accountability. Throughout the process, I was forced to repeatedly follow up on the same basic questions simply to obtain minimal information. It was her responsibility to clearly communicate what the key set included, yet instead, I was left to chase for answers. I was eventually instructed to pick up what was described as two full sets of necessary keys at a specified location. However, upon arrival, only one door key was provided. This directly contradicts what had been communicated and caused unnecessary inconvenience. Despite this failure, she was unable to provide any explanation of the next steps. Even after I had moved in, her only action was to request that I sign off on the documentation. My repeated inquiries were met with no reply and no progress. There was no follow-through, no updates, and no evidence that any meaningful coordination occurred at any point. Honestly, I didn't know what have she done for me. Instead of facilitating communication with the landlord, she has created an additional barrier.

Fantastic experience: Ricardo Barros worked with us on the sale of our condo over a period of 3-4 months. When we finally put the condo up for sale he provided statistics on pricing and ways to seek the right buyers. Staging was done by ReMax and when it didn’t look quite right to Ricardo, he took the initiative to make changes. The condo sold in 5 days at 99% of list price. We then had a couple of unit issues that arose and Ricardo took care of getting a plumber there within hours so the closing would not be stalled. Ricardo had a process and vision as to how the sale would unfold, even in an unpredictable world of the current market, and he was on the money. We are grateful for all the hard work he dedicated to us, even though we weren’t in the city to meet after the condo went on the market.

Neve showed me the place, was very patient in answering every question and helped me to have the best success in getting the unit. Positive experience: Great service! UPDATE: I've updated my review to 4 stars because of the long delay in processing my first payment after renting my place. For the fee that they charge (first month rent + HST), it should not be late.

Negative experience: Leased a unit where the den was inaccessible during viewings due to the previous tenant using it as a storage area. Upon receiving the keys, there was substantial damage to the walls, especially in the den, and the unit had also not been cleaned. RE/MAX refused to accept any responsibility for the damage to the walls and instead passed the blame to my realtor and myself. RE/MAX expected me to pay for a repaint and the necessary repairs at my own expense. Their claim was my realtor and I should have requested another viewing with the den emptied and added a repaint as a condition of the offer. They also argued the cleaner had visited the unit a second time after I received the keys and made a complaint however the unit had clearly not been cleaned to professional standard. Overall, it's very clear the unit had not been properly inspected after the previous occupants left. Some of the previous occupant's belongings were still in the unit and the standard of maintenance and cleanliness was absolutely sub-par. RE/MAX did offer to send the cleaner back while I was present however at this point, I have no confidence in RE/MAX or the owner to maintain the unit properly. This is easily the worst real estate experience of my life and I wouldn't recommend RE/MAX to anyone.

Negative experience: The team worked hard to find me a good tenant. They were informative and professional. They kept me in the loop as to what is going on and involved me with the discussion. Highly recommended. Follow up: I changed my 5 stars to 2 stars because RE/MAX had taken an additional $300 from me as payment without any explanation. When I first discussed the payment they agree to only take the amount we agreed upon. I contacted the agent and received no response.
