Expérience négative: In our over 23 years of business in the same location, this is the worse property management company we have ever experienced. They are arrogant, incompetent and disrespectful. They keep squeezing us paying more & more CAM expenses without notifying us first or our consent. And we are not allowed to cancel any additional services we actually don’t need. Worst of all, they do not monitor any of these services, and use “bleach of contract “ as a reason to bully us as a tenant. For example, this year they charge us extra $375 a month for picking up garbages around the premise without our consent but honestly we have never seen anyone actually doing it. We took pictures every week and the same trash just stayed there. When we complained about it, the manager Hansel had the audacity to ask us pay more for more janitorial service! He is completely missing the point that no service was rendered. The property manager Hansel acts like he is our boss and we will pay whatever expenses he demands. Although we pay him management fees $1000 monthly, he did nothing for us except hiring more unnecessary CAM services. We have been complaining the landscaping charges for years because no landscaping was done. We are just ignored. It’d take months for plants overgrown like the picture shows. Every week we put some empty boxes in front of our store window for recycle, Hansel thinks he owns us and asked us to remove them. 2024 we end up paying more than $3000 annually. 2025 over $6000 more! That is 100% increase and more than $500 increase per month. We thought a good management company should not let CAM expenses go out of control and always monitor the services and check the invoices. Interlink Realty property manager Hansel has never done any of it. Please be very careful if you are considering signing anything with them. We certainly won’t be at the end of our lease after being good tenant (never missed a payment) for 23 years. That should be a testament to Interlink Reality’s poor management. And property manager Hansel is completely incompetent and a bully to his tenant. We hope the landlord will take notice and stop hiring them managing any of his properties in the future. Unfortunately we suspect the landlord has no idea how manager Hansel has abused and bullied his 23-year tenant.

Expérience négative: I thought long and hard before writing this review about KaFu Chu of Interlink Realty because I believe others should be aware of my experience. Several years ago, when I was selling my house in East Vancouver, KaFu Chu acted as my real estate agent. He told me there was a buyer interested in the property, and after both the buyer and I signed the contract, we were simply waiting for the transaction to complete. He then informed me that another offer had come in, which I understood was being used to encourage the original buyer to move forward. Although I was told there was another offer, I was never presented with it or asked to consider it. As a result, I was left questioning whether the process had been handled transparently. Then, in 2022, I purchased two pre-construction units in South Surrey through KaFu. Before the purchases, he verbally promised that I would receive a financial rebate after the transactions completed. Once both deals closed, that promise was not honoured, despite my expectation based on our earlier discussions. I was extremely disappointed by how the matter was handled. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend working with KaFu Chu. I encourage anyone considering him as their real estate agent to ask questions, document important agreements in writing whenever possible, and proceed with caution.

Never gave references or anything, just inquired on a home and he said he was uncomfortable to rent it out to us? I dont know if its a racial thing but ended up dropping the listing by $1000 and we inquired again after being ignored once he told us about his discomfort. Never experienced anything like this in my life. Would rather lose money then to rent to us which makes so sense as he has no background information on us other then a profile picture on Facebook? He is uncomfortable to rent to people like us? I never write bad reviews but this guy doesnt deserve to be in this industry if he is uncomfortable renting to people. Wild.

Expérience négative: EDIT: I wrote this review in February 2022, not sure why it is showing as new. Just like all the other comments, Hans was terrible to (try to) work with. After sending him my application (with a lot of sensitive information) for his listing, he stated that he would send me the tenancy agreement. He never did that, and never communicated with me again. I tried to ask for simple updates, even just a “the unit has been filled”, and he never responded to a single email or message again. Don’t understand how there are multiple bad reviews specifically about him but he is still able to do this.

My buying agent did not have a rental license to manage the unit, but Mr. Chau had already been the rental agent for the property for eight years. Initially, I considered managing the unit myself. However, I quickly realized the value of Mr. R. Chau’s experience in property management and the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with the tenants. I have no reservations about continuing with Mr. R, Chau, as I have not received any complaints from the tenant. He communicates effectively and responds promptly to any issues, often visiting the unit on the same day a problem arises.

During his tenure, I have had two groups of excellent tenants, and his management has always been exemplary. Mr. Chau consistently reports all maintenance issues, provides rental market updates, and offers valuable advice on rent increases. Proactively, he suggested installing an extra door handle to reduce strain on the pulling door lock, which helps alleviate the load on the heavy door. His work has earned my complete trust, and there have been no complaints from either the tenants or myself as the landlord.

Expérience négative: *** Major Red Flags - STAY AWAY! *** Their contract is a total TRAP with super shady terms. I strongly urge you to think twice before putting pen to paper. They practically wanted our life story - calling every reference, photocopying our documents and ID cards, and more. It felt like they were digging for everything but our DNA! The contract was one-way street all the way. Asking for $500 for guests staying over one week, mandatory monthly inspections, restrictions on the hanging of pictures with even tiny nails and a whole list of absurd demands. Do yourself a favor: run in the opposite direction if you see these guys coming!

Expérience négative: I DO NOT recommend Interlink Realty. For the past 5 years I have worked as a small commercial property manager. I know the level of professionalism and care that is required to take care of your tenants, not to mention the legal obligations and rules. I can confidently say that the service provided by Interlink is the absolute worst!! I have lived in the building for 6 years and at year 2 the management changed to Interlink. Immediately it became stressful and frustrating to deal with them, a far cry from the management before them. They are rude, they lack care and respect and they do nothing unless asked multiple times!!! On many occasions the tenants have had to ban together to fix things around the building (such as fixing broken windows) in order to create a safe environment for ourselves and the small children that live in our building. These are tasks that management had been asked to take care of MANY times and yet nothing was done. Additionally their fixes are VERY cheap and barely pass as acceptable. In addition to this there have been multiple occasions where the rules posted on the BC Tenancy Act have not only been neglected but violated. Similar to a comment below, I too have kept correspondence I have in order to document their management skills & the quality of my dealings with them. AVOID this company or its members. It's not worth the many fights you're about to have.

A toilet damage that existed before moved in is still not fixed due to many times of delays with ambiguous excuses and SHADY contract traps. Was moved in almost a month now and just told to wait for another 3 weeks for the repair. The quality of agents are as ridiculous as the situation as well. Do NOT EVER choose this company if you do not want to waste your time and money. 0/10

My partner and I are looking for a new home to rent, and he never replied to my email about booking a viewing. I was hoping the reviews were wrong, or had at least used the feedback received from these reviews to improve how they run their business. But unfortunately that does not seem to be the case.

Please be careful of all papers that you sign through them. No date, no area indicated, lots of shady area in the document.

Expérience négative: Horrible company and please stay away from dealing with Interlink. The company pulled a lot of shady tactics when we went to purchase a listing under them. They wouldn't disclose foreign buyers tax info and the realtors are owners of homes that they are selling and they wouldn't disclose any info of ownership. They accepted an offer from our family to purchase a home and backed out and asked for more money about 3 times after accepting an offer. They were getting us to bid against ourselves after accepting an offer from us already. Then a realtor who is the home owner bypassed our realtor and called my family directly to cut our realtor out so he wouldn't be included in the deal process and receive any commission. Very shady company and we will be reporting them to our local real estate board soon unless they rectify the situation. This went on for a month with no resolution. Horrible experience and led us to missing out on other potential homes we could've purchased.

Won't repair anything even after asking multiple times for months, barely does any cleaning of the common areas, hallway carpets always dirty for weeks, electrical fires in the building because of previous floods in which wiring was damaged and NOT repaired. When the building has flooded (multiple times!), holes are left in the ceiling and not patched up for months on end. You would think that they would know that by investing a bit of money in yearly maintenance prevents costly repairs down the road and only saves money in the long run? NOPE. Total slum-lords, don't want to bother spending the money on any repairs unless they're backed into a corner. And on top of this, they have the audacity to raise rents each year even though the building is degrading, not improving. AVOID.

Every complaint everyone else has had, particularly with Ken, is bang on!!! Always points the finger back at you as the tenant. Not willing to help out with anything especially when it comes to repairs. Just comepletly rude and ignorant. This company should go under as you have no care In the world for anyone. I already filed a complaint with Dominique as well and all I got in return is "I will investigate" and let's get real - that never happened. We too have spent over 2K on renovations and are asking for a simple 200 dollar repair and he's refusing. Thankfully I absolutely will take the time to write him up AGAIN and go through the residential tenancy act. We too have mice and mold issues and again, no care in the world about any of it
