Expérience négative: Anyone that has a conscience would not be giving this place anything higher than a one star review. This has got to be hands down the worst property management in all of lower mainland. The fob system in our elevator in our building broke a while back, and as a result, anyone who enters our building can freely access any floor without a fob. This happened months ago and still hasn’t been fixed. Our unit’s front door was also vandalized earlier this year. Not only did the manager take zero actions to investigate or do the repair(which they clearly should since it’s clearly their job) , they threatened us with the bylaw when we set up a doorbell camera for security measures. If you want to have your home managed by a company that only cares about your money and offers zero security, this is the place to go for!

They charged my commercial part without my permission and I call them. Their head accounter said” we don’t have time to get approval from all of your units one by one”. Can anyone believe it? We went to law sue and court order force them to gave our money back eventually. But this is insane. careless of residents and getting deeper connect with commercial units，unfair treating us. whoever is using them and willing to use them. Please open your eyes.

Expérience négative: If poor communication were an Olympic sport, this property management company—led (or should I say ruled) by Elena—would take gold every time. Elena’s communication style is a masterclass in how not to deal with people: messages ignored, questions brushed off, and responses delivered with the warmth of a parking ticket. Any attempt at a normal, respectful conversation is met with condescension and attitude, as if tenants are an inconvenience interrupting her reign. She carries herself like she’s the unquestionable queen of the world, while the rest of us are lucky to be graced with her presence at all. People skills? None. Empathy? Nonexistent. Accountability? Don’t make me laugh. Problems are minimized, concerns are dismissed, and you’re left feeling talked down to rather than helped. It’s genuinely impressive how consistently unprofessional and unpleasant the experience is. Property management is a service role. This company—Elena in particular—seems to have forgotten that entirely. One star is generous, and that star is only because zero isn’t an option.

Expérience négative: Chronic mismanagement that puts owners at risk This property management company has severely mismanaged our 51-unit strata corporation. Over the last 2–3 years, we have gone through six different strata managers, resulting in constant disruption, lost information, and a complete lack of accountability. Despite formally approved work orders and council approvals, multiple trade contractors have gone unpaid for months. This is not a budgeting issue — the approvals were in place. The failure lies squarely with the management company’s inability to process, communicate, or follow through on basic financial obligations. The matter has been repeatedly escalated to senior leadership, including the President and Vice President, with no corrective action taken. Promises are made and ignored, follow-ups go unanswered, and the same issues continue to resurface. As a direct consequence of this ongoing negligence, contractors are now preparing to file builders’ liens against the strata, exposing owners to unnecessary legal and financial risk entirely of management’s making. This is not an isolated incident — it reflects systemic operational failure, poor internal controls, and ineffective leadership. All volunteer strata council members are extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and support provided. Strata councils and owners should steer clear of engaging this company. Strata communities deserve competence, transparency, and accountability. This company delivers none of the above.

Expérience fantastique: Pacific Quorum manages the condo building I live in. Building notices are posted online, in the building, and emailed. I find the building and in general the overall communications to be good. Lori Kim, the Senior Property Admin and Paul Kral, the Property Manager is always quick to respond back to emails/inquiries.

Expérience positive: I recently worked with Pacific Quorum to have a buzzer activated for my suite. The process took a little time, but Sofiia the property administrator was very responsive and kept me updated throughout. In the end, everything was completed as promised, and I’m happy with the outcome. Thank you for your support!

Expérience négative: We have three different property managers from this company manage our strata lot over the past few years and it's impossible to get a hold of them. They rarely return any messages and do not address the concerns of the owners. I called and emailed for three months just trying to buy a parking spot and she wouldn't get back to me until I finally called the front desk and they forced her to call me back. We have barely had any maintenance done in the past couple of years and things are starting to fall apart. We have finally dropped this company and are getting way better service somewhere else.

Expérience négative: Last month I forgot to put money in my account. Stata and my bank charged me extra. And when I called my bank, they said it was the first time this had happened. We reversed your extra charges in your account but on the other hand, I also got a notification from Pacific Quorum about my statement fee and extra charges when I said it's first time this happened. Please don’t charge me extra and say it’s over policy. Sir, I understand it’s your policy but at least give a chance to your customer. First or last warning but they said no. Disappointed

Expérience négative: Elin Nash, the strata manager, is irresponsible and unprofessional. The person failed to initiate bylaw process and procedures to address noise complaints. According to Gov of BC, the following steps should be taken by parties in dealing with complaints of alleged bylaw and rule violations. 1. A strata corporation must receive a complaint. 2. The strata council must then give the alleged offender written notice of the complaint. Do you think people live here do not know about bylaw? You apparently are not enforcing the laws and regulations to investigate with written email request.

Expérience négative: BEWARE!! They threatened to SUE our strata!! What kind of property management company threatens to sue strata volunteers because they switch to a new company that has a previous employee on staff that you don't even work with? I won't even get into why they were terminated; a laundry list of not meeting contractual obligation. They had no legal basis for a claim, and dropped the threats when they realised we wouldn't pay them their $10K 'bribe' to settle and know more about BC law than they do. They are abjectly FAILING in this industry due to a lack of professionalism and integrity. A property management company that threatens to sue stratas is the biggest red flag you will ever need. AVOID!!

After moving out about three months ago, I have yet to receive my security deposit, and to make matters worse, they tried to withdraw rental fee even though I no longer reside at the property. From the beginning, the company’s communication has been poor. Despite multiple attempts to contact them through emails and phone calls regarding my deposit, I have received no concrete answers. Each time, I was met with vague responses and promises to “look into the matter,” but nothing has been resolved. What is particularly frustrating is the fact that they tried to withdraw the rental fee from my account even after I had already moved out. This is not only a breach of trust but also a clear violation of our agreement. There has been no refund for the wrongful charge. This experience has not only been stressful and also emotionally draining. I had hoped for a smooth transition out of the property, but instead, I am left chasing after my own money with no end in sight. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from Pacific Quorum to think twice. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the true measure of a company is how they handle them. In this case, they have failed miserably. I

I been with them a week and terminated the contract stay away. For several issues and lack of explanation. I would never recommend them to anyone. And they still owe me for rent in oct. Expérience fantastique: So far my experience with Pacific Quorum has been amazing. In a day an age where rental scams are rampant, it is always daunting to be looking at the rental market. I've been met with nothing but professionalism from both Nhem Catoy when setting up a viewing, and then with Laura Finnigan when going over the lease documents. She's patient with my questions and her kindness exudes through her emails. I am looking forward to a long, wonderful relationship with this property management company.

Unlike many agents who become unresponsive after move-in, Leslie remains dedicated. Her support nearly moved me to tears today. No company compares to PQP. I gave them 5 stars because they truly give 5- star customer service — especially Lori Kim who always responds promptly (even on weekends) and provides detailed guidance and excellent customer service.

Our old Council Hired this company before and now we terminated with this compoany because they are so an irresponsible company，if you are a resident, stay away from this company. They will not do anythings for your strata except got money.

Expérience négative: I purchased my apartment in 2016, the windows have not been cleaned once since!! We have called them multiple times and it still hasn’t been addressed. Communication is extremely poor. I emailed the property manager Sarb Thiara on Feb 1st with photo proof - no reply. I forwarded it to the Vancouver branch - no reply. I called a week later… he said he would address it with council and let me know. It is now a month later, NO communication, no update. The direct phone line provided is never answered. He is eternally unavailable. What are strata fees for? What is the purpose of having receptionists that do not forward emails/ensure windows of communication are open? Infuriating to say the least. Like a review below mentions, no one in this company replies to emails.

Expérience fantastique: Elena Vinarskaia our property manager is highly efficient and knowledgeable. During her short tenure, I have learned a great deal from her. She has a remarkable ability to explain complex matters with ease, and her in-depth knowledge of the bylaws is impressive. Whenever we request a quote, she promptly delivers it within a few days. At present, we only have two minor arrears, which is quite uncommon. In my five years on the council, I have never witnessed such an occurrence.

Of course, it typically comes down to personnel, and PQ seems to hire some of the best: friendly people who are quick to reply to inquiries, services or fixes, despite the demands of numerous owners at any given complex. Expérience négative: I recently requested some documentation from this company on an urgent basis. I was advised that it would be emailed to me. I did not receive it. The next three days I left/sent multiple voicemails for and emails to LL - she did not respond. If she had changed her mind and decided she was not going to send me the document it would have been professional of her to let me know in a timely was so I could pursue other options. This behaviour is exactly the reason why people view property managers and their organizations poorly. It is a well earned dubious reputation.

Expérience négative: Horrible experience. To install a EV charge at home, is very easy and simple in this century. All the information I already provide to the strata team, they always reply they want to review at the next council meeting. I already told them I will hire licence electrician and will apply city of government to do the inpection check after installed. Very unprofessional and unorganized, wasting money and time for those resident.

Expérience fantastique: Elizabeth Westerveld has been nothing less than awesome since joining Pacific Quorum and becoming our property manager here at White Pines Resort in Sicamous. Her communication skills are excellent, her follow-up is flawless and her attention to our Strata's needs is the kind of service we require, expect and very much appreciate. As current President of the Strata Corporation, I can highly recommend her as she has shown no flaws in her performance. Thank you Elizabeth!

Things like kicking other people out for extra parking rental, storage locker assignment… etc. Regular resident receive termination of these rental agreement out of no reason whenever the property manager or a strata member want to give favors to his buddies. Council members may like this company. However, if you are a resident, stay away from this company. Vote “no” if your council is voting on hiring this management company. Do not let this corrupted culture to start within your strata.

Expérience fantastique: Great experience being serviced by Pacific Quorum property employees. My bedroom window was broken by a stone thrown from outside. I called my property manager who right away sent a window tech to replace the broken one. Great service!

Expérience négative: Horrible experience. Was supposed to attend a viewing but the relator never showed up. Another perspective tennant and I called and texted the person that was to show us the unit. No answer to our texts or calls. I waited outside the building for 40 minutes. Finally got an answer 2 hours later saying the property was no longer available. Very unprofessional and unorganized.

Expérience négative: I am horrified by the service I have received from Pacific Quorum Properties Vancouver. While working with them, a member of their staff made rude, false, legally incorrect assumptions and accusations. Fortunately the situation has been resolved, but I cannot recommend working with them.

Expérience négative: Poorly managed property management company. Fined me for 2 dogs when I have 1. Sicked a Lawyer on me before a meeting with strata council or Tribunal meeting. Trying to charge me for legal fees for Lawyer they hired. Do not deal with this company they don't know law or proper procedures! I plan to sue them and KAS2053! They have no clue of procedures or the law. Heres my 1 dog caused absolutely zero damage.

Expérience négative: Have lost count of how many financial mistakes were made by the strata management company (Parksville office, previously BayView, yet recently also P.Quorum) ..and had to be caught by our unit owners. Often times one single mistake would have cost me several hundred dollars personally. Good luck with this company. Keep a watchful eye on your numbers! The ones you are paying them (Professionals!) to take care of We now manage out strata ourselves.

Expérience négative: Pacific Quorum, has the right philopsophy. Wishing Dino, on Vancouver Island, would be more proactive with basic maintenance advice for our strata. Pacific Quorum cannot act without strata, however holding them accountable for upkeep is not their string point. Strata are not trained experts, your company are the advisors and consultants. We certainly pay you enough to do basic maintenance. Its a shame that this company does not use their potential to maintain integrity. Instead they feed off of chaos. I have a tribunal case open, hopefully PQ decides to use their building knowledge, and expertise to actually make some changes.

Expérience négative: Worst Management Ever. Gave us a notice saying they will reprogram the FOBs by December 31st and the due date to submit the form was November 30, 2022. The notice was handed out in December. Regardless, emailed them several times to have our FOBs reprogramed. NO RESPONSE AT ALL AND THEY DEACTIVATED OUR FOBS TODAY. We're locked out of the building & can't event enter our own residence. Such a joke.

Expérience négative: I would give no stars if possible. Parents used them for 2 years. They initially got 1 tenant for a one year lease. Then the tenant left and Pacific Quorum left the place unattended, not just without a tenant, but with no communication or effort to find a replacement, for an entire year. Surprise surprise, took me 3 days to find a tenant after I fired them. Here's the kicker, they still charge you fees for doing nothing during that entire interim! Essentially the worst possible service that I can find. P.S., dont believe a word any of them say, I called five times during that year to ask for progress and was shoved off every call. Management did jack.

Expérience négative: There is a need for PQ to have a process to notify Mahogany owners when a problem is occurring. For example, today (Dec 23/22) residents have no heat. After contacting an emergency number, I learned that a pipe froze and therefore geo-thermal heating is not operative. I have no idea when the problem will be resolved. Someone must know what is happening - but there is a huge communication gap that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later!

Expérience négative: The worst strata management company ever - would not recommend to anyone. We had a leak coming from our upstairs neighbor; we emailed our property manager Julia right away and she never replied. Two weeks later, she finally replied (after us sending another email) and all she said is that "a leak is not a strata problem" and she told us to just talk to our neighbor. A water leak in the ceiling isn't serious enough for her to deal with I guess?

I do not see any real experience managing buildings and its easy to see why they are probably dealing with so many Civil Resolution Tribunal cases.

Shane Toews, the strata manager, did 10/10 service and was very prompt with returning emails. My concerns were even forwarded to the next strata council meeting. All in all my concerns were taken to heart and I have some peace of mind after the incident that occurred in my residence

I'm currently owed $471 because they pulled the strata fees from my account when our property had already moved to a different property management company because we were tired of their incompetence. Glad our property isn't working with them anymore and neither should yours.

Elena Vinarskaia recently contacted us for some emergency maintenance work on the generator at one of the sites she takes care of. I would like to just say that she was very efficient and her responses were quick and accurate. This resulted in the job being completed in a smooth and timely manner for the strata. Expérience fantastique: I am the strata president of our building. Our latest property manager, Elena Vinarskaia has been doing an excellent job of managing our building for the last 2 years. She works well with the strata council, responds quickly to enquiries and gets the job done. Previous to her Pacific Quorum provided us with poor mangers that only stayed with the company for a year or 2. It caused us a lot of problems having the property manager constantly changing. I hope Pacific Quorum is able to retain her for as long as possible.

Expérience fantastique: It's been a year since my wife and I started living in Vancouver and we are extremely pleased to be their tenants. Even with the smallest support we requested, they quickly responsed and made our job easier. Especially, thanks to Pragun and Terra for their interest and kind communication style. We appreciate their effort.

Expérience fantastique: This review is about Hammad Gondal and Robert (not sure his last name - building manager). This review is not about the building I'm moving in to itself, as I have not yet lived in it. I just want to say thank you to both Hammad and Robert for making the rental process so smooth. They were both such a joy to work with and were very helpful. I feel they went out of their way to make this transition smooth for me and took a lot of stress off my plate. I feel very supported, and feel that I will be able to reach out for help if I ever need. Thank you so much for all your help...I hope you both get the recognition you deserve!

Expérience négative: This is a 0/5 review for an extremely negative experience. Nobody working at this company replies to emails and picks up calls even though they are supposed to serve customers. My experience: I am currently owed over $600 dollars out of pocket for me. They pulled a strata fee from my bank account even though I no longer live in that building. What if this happened to someone who really needs access to their funds? Secondly, when I moved out of said building they charged me for an outstanding balance that I had no previous knowledge about. That was also automatically withdrawn. I would like to know what I was penalized for. Am I to expect interest on the funds I am owed? Probably not … even though they gladly charge you fees when they receive late payments etc

Expérience fantastique: Lori Kim is fantastic. She is very friendly and responsive and assists you with getting things dealt with as fast as possible. Dealing with management companies can be a stressful thing especially when responses are slow and so am relieved to be working with Lori during my move in process and getting work approved. :)

Expérience fantastique: Michael Boyling was great! he helped me out just before a long weekend! I had a plumbing issue and he followed up to make sure that the everything was in place. I appreciated his immediate response.

Expérience négative: Staff is unreliable. Cheques get lost in their office if specifics aren't provided and you dont take a picture of it before handing them in. Even then sometimes they get lost. Sometimes they ask for cheques to get reissued and then they deposit the reissued cheques along with the originals. Staff has very poor communication skills. They dont communicate well with their tenants or between the workers.

Expérience négative: My experience with them managing the 9298 novo building was terrible. I sent them lots of occasions that our neighbour was making loud sounds out of the regular time and all I got was irresponsibility. They did not do anything regarding my problem for months and then the building board decided to replace this awful management and strata group with someone else. Totally the worst decision to choose them as a strata.

Expérience fantastique: Ms. Andersen, our property manager, replied and addressed our concerns promptly and sincerely to our satisfaction; hopefully, our strata will follow through with her recommendations. We were very impressed with her professionalism.

Expérience négative: I have had a terrible experience with Pacific Quorum Properties. I live in a building which managed by them and several units are undergoing renovation and it is extremely loud. During times where people are working from home, they have given out approvals for loud renovation work during business hours without any notice to other tenants of the building who will be impacted. When I tried to reach out with a noise complaint, I received a rude and unprofessional response with absolutely no consideration for my situation and they simply stated that it is allowed per the bylaws and will go on for a few weeks. Am I just supposed to not work for several weeks? Why was I not informed? Even if it is allowed, the property management team could have given advance notice or even just a simple apology for the inconvenience I am facing instead of the terribly unprofessional response they provided.

Expérience négative: The worst property management company ever. I am an immigrant doctor living in one of the house managed by them which has rats,openings, spiders,water leakage and what not is managed by their management. When i saw the property it looked good but then within a week the reality started to be visible.Property managers will never take your calls even though they have emergency number for some emergency in my case it was water leakage in my store room and when i called the the emergency number they said its not emrgency. Their managers dont care about anything all they do is deducting rent money from your account on every 31st by midnight. All positive reviews are fake here. Expérience fantastique: Abdoul Said is a real asset to our council, and I know that all owners, and residents of Parkside have benefited from his diligence and work ethics. Abdoul always treats residents in a professional manner, and quickly deals with issues as they arise. We are fortunate to have someone of his dedication looking after our Property Management needs. Lori Kim is a joy to work with. She handles all our inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Lori seems to be always available to resolve any issues. We have come to count on her as an integral part of keeping Parkside running smoothly. Matthew Chun, as our Property Accountant has provided excellent service. He delivers our monthly financial statements and responds to our questions in a timely manner. Matthew worked with the Strata under tight deadlines to prepare the latest AGM package, which was well received by the Owners. It is a pleasure to work with Matthew.

Expérience fantastique: This Property Management company did a marvelous job of planning and helping us produce an on-line zoom Special General Meeting with our strata owners. They did a great job!

Expérience fantastique: I have enjoyed working with our new Property manager. Hanne A. has been a great asset to our Strata building! profesonal,helpful and patient! As I am new, she has been wonderful at explaining things, and does her research if required.I give her a five,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
