I asked around to get suggestions from friends and co-workers but just seemed to procrastinate at actually engaging anyone. The agents I had dealt with in the past were a bit like a used car sales person. I never connected with them, and I always felt I was just a commission to them. We successfully purchased one with a rich history, sentimental value, and located in the most ideallic neighbourhood. Lisa saw us through a couple of hard losses, but we wouldn't have ended up where we are without those losses and without her, to say the least. We happened to meet Lisa through an expired posting we were interested online when we started toying with the idea of purchasing a house. Other Realtors who responded to our requests on other postings made us feel a little pressured and quite overwhelmed with the process.
