Negative experience: Property owners and investors beware of Arie Buzilo. He gets one star on this review because there is no option for zero stars in his representation of two properties that he has listed at 10 York in Toronto. They are units 3003 and 3103. Whoever owns these properties needs to know that I think purple bricks would be a far better option than his services as a realtor. Dear Owner: in my opinion one of your properties would have a great offer coming in if not for Arie’s selfish, egotistical personal skills and know it all attitude. I think he is extremely greedy, selfish and immature. These are unattractive traits and in my experience with him it resulted in him blocking my request for a viewing. As a buyer looking for dual representation he demands upfront 4.5% commission and as a result the majority of the conversation with him was about his fixation on his commission vs the property that I inquired about. He demanded that I sign an exclusive agreement with him before meeting with me, and stated repeatedly that showing the property was not going to be an option unless I signed his agreement locking me into 4.5% commission for dual representation. I think this guy is a real piece of work and I feel sorry for the owner of these units who likely have no idea that this is going on behind the scenes. It’s not a wonder why the properties are not selling. I think Arie could use a few good books and a solid mentor on how to sell real estate because his approach pails in comparison to all others I have worked with currently and prior to my interaction with him today. Unfortunately I passed on these nice properties due his abrasive ego. I think if he would have focused on representing his listing vs expressing how amazing he is and then suggesting a trickery approach to acquiring me as a client then that likely would have lead to a current market value offer. Towards the end of this painful conversation I tried to reason with him about the importance of an in-person meeting prior to hiring him to represent me. I think it was at this point where he went Off about his reputation as the top realtor in Toronto and stated that he is not willing to spend the time to meet me unless I sign the exclusivity agreement ahead of time by email. Speechless and I do not recommend working with Arie Buzilo as a realtor.

Fantastic experience: I was moving across the country at the end of the month and have had to look for a place strictly via internet and photos. I came across Boris. He agreed to help me find a place. The process was explained clearly right off the bat. During the search, I sent countless emails to Boris and he was always responding within moments, even later in the evenings (there was a 3 hr difference) and weekends. As it was really hard to get a sense of the size and layout of these places by just looking at photos, and realizing how stressed I was, Boris took it upon himself to go personally view a few of the units I was interested in and sent me videos. Fantastic experience: These guys rock and we couldn't have done it without them. My girlfriend and I contacted Evan, after hunting for a condo to lease for a few months without an results.
