Expérience négative: I lived at their property at 2735 pembina hwy (the bolt) for a little over a year. On October 8, 2026 one of their workers entered my unit without notice. I went directly to the manager and she told me she was just coming as she had the morning off. She told me that there should not have been anyone in my unit that day and would look into it. I have emailed her multiple times but no response about this. To this day i did not receive any reason for the guy being in my unit. The camera i used for my 3d printer captured the worker entering the unit( picture attached, legally allowed to record proof of crimes without subject’s permission). Please send me either a work order, emails discussing work to be done or entry notice created for the date in question if you would like me to delete this review. But the information must match the dates and information presented on video evidence for the review to be removed. Please contact via email seeing as all details in person/phone calls seem to be lied about after the fact. * yes i am upset about the fee at the end, i was going let this slid until i got the invoice for it, now i just want answers. If i can’t get answers then i want people to know what kind of company you are, not following laws and doing what you want without keeping records. no need for his permission since it was an illegal entry the notice for sprinkler inspection was for the last week in September i was home when that inspection was done. Images i have attached show me contacting them about this when it first happened and nothing being done, everything is from October.
Expérience fantastique: my husband and i (recently married) have been in search of a new place to move into. from moving out of our family homes to a first place that we can call our home. i took a chance in calling apartment buildings near the area of both our jobs and property manager, Isaac, answered and scheduled us to view a unit past the hours that he would normally book for viewings (which we are very very grateful). upon arriving and viewing the place as well as meeting Isaac in person, we immediately found the place that we can now call home. we waited until after the new year to apply and unfortunately someone had applied for the unit just hours before we could but Isaac still came through and called us asking to come view a place that he thought would be perfect for us (5 stars for the consideration - super awesome coming from someone we just met). Isaac allowed us into his cozy home and had the application papers ready for us to fill out and with the most easiest communication with the agency, within 3-4 days our application had been approved. we would like to thank Isaac and all management that was involved in overseeing our application. we have no complaints or issues, we highly recommend signing with Globe Property and finding your new home with such a welcoming community! Happy New Year.
Expérience négative: This is a reminder for everyone to steer CLEAR of this company. Management is only present when it is time for their paychecks; once any issues arise, they become unavailable. Furthermore, if you highlight an existing problem, they will attempt to place the blame on you. We resided in Kelly House for a year, and our experience was extremely negative. The residential manager at that time was ineffective. Caroline appears to be rewarded for her unprofessional conduct when the manager is unable to intervene. They will infringe upon your rights and then portray you as the source of the issue. Regarding the damage deposit, they withheld a significant portion due to a minor scratch on the floor. I have no way to prove this, but I suspect that the scratch occurred after they directed us to move the fridge back and forth upon our departure. For your own benefit, go with another company and avoid Globe at ALL costs

I recently moved out of 1152 Munroe Avenue, and I want to acknowledge the outstanding support provided by Christina Hiebert, the Assistant Property Manager at Windwood Gardens. Throughout our stay, Christina was consistently helpful, responsive, and professional. She went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, including assisting us during our move-out process and even helping us find tenants to transfer our lease. Her dedication, hard work, and sense of responsibility truly stand out. Christina is an excellent representative of the company, and we sincerely appreciate everything she has done for us.
Expérience négative: Terrible experience with Globe Property Management. We’ve emailed the property manager for over two months about a payment issue and got no reply at all. Completely unresponsive and unhelpful. They show no care or understanding for tenants’ situations — just demand payment without any communication or empathy. It caused us a lot of stress and sleepless nights. If you value respectful, responsive management, avoid Globe Property Management at all costs.

Lori will respond to my concerns quickly and no problem with deposit refund from my own exprience (pick up the cheque within 3 business days).
Expérience fantastique: I’ve had an outstanding experience living at the Courts of St. James (233 booth drive /2727 portage avenue ). From the very beginning, the professional and supportive management team made everything smooth — they even helped me view and secure my apartment virtually before moving in. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, with large closets and an amazing view — I’ve enjoyed every sunset like never before. The common laundry facilities are clean and efficient, and the location is unbeatable: right in front of a clinic and hospital, a Dollarstore in the same building, and the Real Canadian Superstore less than a kilometre away. What impressed me most is the management’s human and professional approach. When I needed an exceptional short lease renewal due to my work transfer, they responded with empathy and flexibility — turning a potentially stressful situation into a smooth transition. I highly recommend the Courts of St. James and Global Property Management for anyone looking for quality housing and truly caring management.

Expérience fantastique: Hello Globe Property Management. We had live at century grant Apartment for 5 years @515 Laxdal Road. We were having a very great time over living there. Our Manager Marinda, she is great personality, she always been incredibly helpful, professional also it’s so easy to communicate with her. She is excellent in problem solving and always gives quick response whenever we need support. Overall, me and my husband had great time over there with the care provider by our Manager Marinda & the team.
Expérience fantastique: Hello! We lived at St. Boniface 415 for two years. This is the best house and manager. We are very lucky to be in this wonderful area. Our family loves this house and has a warm attitude towards the company. Thank you very much for the wonderful rental. I'm so glad I lived on the street Jean Baptiste 415. Apartment 501 Abu is the best manager:) He's pleasant, sociable, and kind. Thank you for renting this apartment for two years.
Expérience fantastique: I was shown two apartments by Chantelle. Me and my roommates all agreed that she was amazing and very straight forward and made the process feel more accessible. I also appreciate how well the application process was presented to us was one of the better ones ive seen from a property management company.
Expérience négative: SCAM ALERT: They Will Keep Your Entire Deposit! I lived at Charsdale Garden Apartments and the place was fine — until move-out. That is when they hit me with a $700 charge for a “scratched stovetop.” Absolutely ridiculous. We scrubbed and cleaned that apartment for two full days. It was spotless when we left, and I even took pictures and videos to prove it. Didn’t matter. They still made up an excuse to keep my money. When I called management, they dodged me and finally pushed me to Globe Property Management. I spoke with ***Marci***, who flat out told me they had already ordered a new cooktop. Fun fact - Stove top was already scratched when we moved in. When I asked for proof or the bill, she said ***they are not “obligated”*** to show it. That is a complete lie, ****tenants have every right to know what is happening with their deposit.**** At the end of the day, they kept the entire deposit. According to them, we basically shouldn’t have used the stove at all. What a joke. ⚠️ If you’re thinking of moving here, *Don’t*. They will take your deposit no matter how perfect you leave the place. ***It’s a scam.*** *** PROOF : Below pictures are taken at the time we moved out, which shows that we have cleaned in an excellent condition. ***

Expérience fantastique: I lived in a Globe Property Management managed apartment for 3 years, and it was a wonderful experience. The unit itself was quiet, spacious, and had a beautiful green view with trees and a lawn during the summer. In the winter, it got lots of sunlight, which made it feel warm and welcoming. The location was another big plus — close to all amenities and with a bus stop right in front of the building, making commuting easy and convenient. The building also had secured access, which gave us peace of mind. A big shoutout to the property manager, Abby, and the caretaker, Bill. They were always helpful and respectful whenever we reached out about any issues. It truly felt like home for me and my family, thanks to how well we were treated and how well the place was maintained. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed apartment!
Expérience fantastique: We lived in our home for 38 years and were very happy there. We had seen NK Flats being built and thought it looked really nice but we weren't ready to move. Three years later the maintenance at our place got too much for us and we decided to move. Fortunately, apartment 108 at NK Flats was available and it suited our needs perfectly. After not living in an apartment, we're very impressed at how quiet it is here and how clean and well maintained it is kept. When we thought we had a problem, Caroline was available to answer questions and put our minds to rest. We absolutely love it here! It's home!

Expérience négative: Posting as a potential renter ,My daughter viewed an apartment and the leasing lady made zero attempts to contact her through the whole process, we had to contact the front desk who said they needed more info, so we contacted the leasing lady and she said provide banking statements that shows she has money in the account and can afford the rent and a letter from her employer, which we did, the letter states my daughter has been there 3.5 years and makes roughly $2000 a month in tips as well as her pay from work, we even told her my daughter would pay 3 months upfront in rent even 6 months upfront in rent plus damage that is more then reasonable to show she can pay the rent, she said she would get back no later then Wed at noon, it's now Friday she emailed my daughter saying sorry not approved, no other options offered talk about wasting my daughter's time, its been just over 2 weeks when we started the process, my daughter has lived at home all her life, and has zero history in rent but offering 3 or 6 months up front should of been good enough, my daughter has lots of money saved up and paying a years worth of rent would not of been a issue, definitely disappointed Sandra should of been In more communication with my daughter as she really wanted this apartment

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been living at Windwood Gardens for almost 5 years now, and I’ve had a consistently great experience. Christina Hiebert, our property manager, has always been incredibly helpful, professional, and easy to communicate with. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed support, she’s been quick to respond and genuinely cares about the residents. The maintenance team deserves a shoutout too—they are always very responsive and efficient. Whether it’s a minor fix or a larger issue, it gets addressed quickly and thoroughly. It’s clear that the property management team takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly and making sure residents are comfortable. Overall, I’ve been very happy living here, and a big part of that is thanks to the excellent management and care provided by Christina and the team.
Expérience négative: Hi folks. Im writing because I have experienced lot of issues with Suite 9 River Clayton Apartments. Firtsly when they were fixing new windows I was promised that I would get a mesh for my window which was never provided. Secondly I had reported that my furnace has gone bad but was never replaced. Thirdly there are lot of suspicious activity detected in parking spot 15 at night.Someone had pooped, saw few condoms and someone stole scissors and sanitizer from my car. It is alarming to notice that this building doesnt have a survelliance camera installed whereas our neighbor 45 River Clayton has a camera installed in their premises. Whats happening? I do not think Im an alien and I do speak English although Im born in India.
Expérience négative: Posting as a prospective renter, not a tenant. I viewed several units at Canterbury House, managed by Globe Property Management, and toured with property manager Jordan. The building itself has spacious units, original parquet flooring, and appeared quiet and well-maintained. Jordan was friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the process. I was thrilled when my application was accepted — but then, things took a strange turn. I was asked to submit a security deposit before being allowed to view the rental agreement. This felt unusual and concerning. As someone who works with contracts professionally, I would never expect a party to submit money without reviewing terms. I asked to see the rental agreement, and while Jordan agreed to share a draft, I was told the final version would only be available after the deposit was submitted. Why the secrecy around the final contract? Upon reviewing the draft, I noticed the rent was approximately 10% higher than both the online listing and what Jordan had quoted. I eventually realized that the “second month free” promotion had been factored into the advertised price — a detail that was not made clear at any point. It’s like being told, “This Coke is $1 and you get 10% off,” only to discover it actually costs $1.10 — the discount was already baked in. More troubling, the lease included a clause implying that the rent would increase by 25% as of April 1st next year, less than a year into the lease. On my tour of the apartments, I asked Jordan if any major work on the building was coming up and he said no, so I'm perplexed as to how Globe got an above-guideline rent increase approved from Manitoba's Residential Tenancies Board (2025's guideline rent increase is 1.7%). I withdrew my application feeling disappointed and misled. I genuinely loved the building and appreciated Jordan’s time and professionalism, but I find Globe Property Management’s lack of transparency and misleading pricing tactics to be unfair and, frankly, predatory. Beware.
Expérience fantastique: This apartment 'The Bolt' is a fantastic find and we have been living here for past 5 months. The location is incredibly convenient, being within walking distance to many restaurants, stores, and other amenities and the building is newly built, spotless, comfortable, quiet and very well-maintained. The apartment itself is spacious and bright, with a well-equipped modern kitchen and comfortable living area. I also appreciate the responsive management and helpful friendly staffs, always going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, specially the Assistant Property Manager - Latchmin Bagot. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a luxurious, and peaceful place to live.

Expérience négative: This property management is terrible! I applied for an apartment, and they rejected me, demanding a guarantor. I was explicitly told over the phone that I had two options: provide a guarantor or make an alternative offer. Why should I have to do that? I’m renting an apartment, not applying for a mortgage! When I asked what kind of "alternative offer" they meant, they refused to clarify, saying they couldn’t tell me what it was or what it meant. Completely unprofessional and misleading. UPDATE: I later found out that the current tenant spoke to a Globe representative, who said my application would be approved if I paid three months’ rent in advance. That’s when I realized what "alternative offer" actually meant—and why Desiree refused to explain it to me. So disappointing. Be careful, read the reviews before dealing with them!
Expérience fantastique: Well kept building, Property Manager, Kelly is always so pleasant and despite her frequent turnover in staff, having her be a constant has been very reassuring, knowing any issues that may come up, are dealt with in a timely manner. Expérience négative: Its not for Property. One star or minus for Buiilding manager Cleo. We were asking for availability of the apartment. The lady was discriminating and rude. And started asking you have a place to live, why you want to move. And people living in the building where we currently live, have bugs. She was clearly making stereotype comments. How would you be a building manager and behave like this to clients? Management should take some actions.
Ramandeep, we've spoken to both the onsite manager and the property manager and it seems like this was all a misunderstanding. Cleo was just making conversation, as she does with all visiting prospective renters - it's very common to ask interested applicants where they currently live. We also understand that you reached out to the property to book another appointment since you posted this review. The onsite manager will be contacting you to set up a visit.

Expérience négative: You can do much much better when it comes to customer service. A service it's being provided, and customers are not to begged to front desk people for rutinary services or casual information. When processing applications, try to keep updated the aplicants and reply in a reasonable time-frame to emails, as this is no game for them. It doesn't take too long... Change and evaluate your front desk people more often. They might not be adding up. Additionally, a smile and willingness to help does not hurt...

Whenever there's an issue, whether it's a maintenance request or a question about building policies, Lucas responds promptly and effectively. For instance, when our air conditioning system broke down, he arranged for repairs within a day, ensuring minimal disruption. He dedication to maintaining a clean and safe environment is evident and much appreciated. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a well-managed residence."

Expérience fantastique: UPD: Just wanted to say, that Globe Property Management know how to hire right people. Our residence manager Lucas is an MVP. I can always rely on his support and be sure that all my questions will be answered very quickly. 8 years in Eiffel Tower B and counting. Thank you again! I moved from Ukraine to Winnipeg about a year ago and since that time I’ve lived in Eiffel Tower B. The appartements have been renovated, the building itself too. All my requests are managed in a fast and efficient way. I appreciate a lot that I can address them to our resident manager Gerlinde, and see all issues being solved. Eiffel Tower B is a comfortable building with a great management in St. Boniface.

Expérience fantastique: Always try to update reviews Globe has continued to be a very considerate landlord. They respond to issues very quickly. We have an excellent Resident Manager. Months later -- Globe is still proving to be an excellent landlord. Very fast responses to any maintenance issues. Rents went up but not excessively - still very happy with the change. 90 Garry street had crystal properties as property owners /managers for many years. Always a nasty hassle to resolve issues. Globe took over about a year ago. Night and day. Globe responds to every inquiry and concern in a very professional way. So very happy with the change, and we were able to keep our very excellent resident manager. I have nothing but good things to say about our new ownership.

Expérience négative: Just a heads up if anyone is looking for a rental in Winnipeg. Try to stay away from Globe Property Management - or at least read all the reviews online if that's your only option. And if you do find yourself renting from them CYA! Take lots of photos at move in and move out - and keep them for a year after. They are very unrealistic when it comes to items in the Residential Tenancies Act and have no problem taking you to court and tarnishing your credit rating. @Globepropertymanagement All I’m saying is people need to beware and protect themselves. And warning them of the lengths Globe will go to. I did not trash a newly renovated apartment, the amount that you came after me for was unrealistic. I settled after going to a tenancy branch hearing and to avoid having my credit harmed. Times have changed and anyone new or been out of the rental scene for a while, need to protect themselves.
Lon, you moved into a newly renovated suite and left damages behind. Had you left the suite in as close to the move-in condition as possible, this wouldn't have been an issue. Not only did we take $500 off your damage bill, you also agreed with the result of the mediation. Nothing was done in this process to harm your credit. If you need any further clarification about this, please reach out to the property manager.
Expérience négative: My husband and I did not have a great experience with this property management when renting a unit at Markie Plaza. I understand that it is not ideal for tenants to sublet once they have signed a lease for a year, but due to personal circumstances we needed to move out 2 months before the lease was up. And yet we were expected to find tenants that would not only take on the last two months of our lease, but also sign for an extra year. We tried our best to sublet, but were very disappointed with the lack of guidance in this process. At one point I did communicate to the a staff that I was not aware of one step of the process, and she responded that she gave me the letter. I told her that I'd never seen this letter, but she wasn't even willing to admit that she might have forgotten to provide it to me. The communication was not great, and we honestly felt like we were bad people for subletting. Lastly, it was our understanding that we would have to sign off on any of the damages. My husband and I are clean tenants and did not leave many damages. We were also willing to take on the cost for things that we were unsure whether they were our fault, because admittedly we just did not remember if the damages were there upon move in. (We were inexperienced with property managements, and did not play close attention to damages at the move-in inspection) We ended up going on vacation right after subletting the apartment, But when we came back, we realized that $800 were charged for the damages. A few of the damages were not signed off by us, and my husband had tried to reach out to staff to at least talk about the different charges. But he never received an email or voicemail response from staff to talk about the damages. The only reason I am posting this review, is for others to learn from our experience, and to provide feedback to Globe about their communication. For anyone who is inexperienced in renting from property management organizations, please pay close attention to the move-in inspection and be sure to request specific instructions when subletting. As for Globe, I would wish that tenants who decide to sublet would be respected just as anyone else. People can have good reasons to move out sooner, and some tenants are actually very willing to stick to the process, so long as they know what is required. My husband and I value communication a lot, and in this process we were constantly surprised, and felt like there was some sort of stigma towards subletting.

We make all information about polices and procedures available to our residents on our website, and through our staff. It’s unfortunate you don’t feel that you received what you needed during this process, as we were not aware of any shortcomings here at head office.
We do understand that sometimes tenants need to move during their tenancy, which is why we allow the assignment process in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act.
According to the move out unit condition report, the damages were listed and signed off on by a tenant of the suite. Should you have evidence to support these damages not being done during your tenancy, we would be happy to further review and remove these charges.

Expérience négative: It was my first experience ever with a Property Management Company and was definitely a nightmare. WARNING-DO NOT Pay them any money when you receive any bill from them after moveout. Apparently I was sent a bill of $4500 after I moved out and upon asking I was told apparently it was “ESTIMATED COSTS” but in the letter itself it sounded like if I failed to pay they will post it to collection. They can do no such thing. Do not get scared. So after I offered to repair all that was allegedy damaged I was quoted $500 from an outside vendor. But received no response from their irresponsible employees. Then after 3-4 months I get a new bill which was after the repairs were made. And that was about $2600. (Magically reduced by 50% than their original bill). They included several items which were never reported as damaged to me at the time of moveout. At the end I went to Residential Tenacies Branch to get this resolved and I ended up paying just again less than 50% of the above price. That also because i didn’t want to stretch it any further because it was taking toll on my mental health. But Just so you know, never pay the initial bill, file a claim with RTB and go through them. Edit: Not once have I said that there was zero damage on the unit in my review. I mentioned that I offered to repair the damage. The point here is I got a bill of $4000 for the repairs that actually costs $500. It’s a trick to get the most money out of innocent people’s pockets who are not aware of their rights. I am educating every one to fight for their rights and not get scared of big corporations like yours indeed.
Harry, we're sorry you had this experience but the photos of your suite after you moved out tell a different story than the one you detail here. Leaving your suite in a condition as close to the one it was in upon move-in will result in getting most of if not all of the security deposit returned.

Expérience négative: I am writing this review not because of the building itself but for a couple of different issues. The first issue is the laundry. Coinamatic has once again increased the cost of a load of laundry to over $7.00 a load. This to me is absolutely criminal seeing that the building I am in keeps increasing my rent ($64/Month) for upgrades and improvements yet nothing seems to be upgraded or improved. Secondly, I believe that there needs to be improved communication from the building supervisor to the tenants. The example I have for this is: I am about to get ready for a job interview to find out that the buildings hot water has been shut off for repairs. There was no notice or warning or time of completion. Typically notices are slid under the doors with 24-48hrs notice. I have to believe there must be a way to alert people in the building via text or email for instances like this.

Carrie the Kelly House Resident Manager is responsive, reliable and goes above and beyond the call of duty in assisting with intake issues and refits and repairs. She is always going the extra mile and taking good care of us and any concerns that arise. I have been here only a short while and the windows and screen door were upgraded. The tubs resurfaced and the counters re-finished. Everything was done professionally and with good quality (and plenty of notice). With two young boys it is important to have a safe and sound home and the Kelly House is it. So glad we found it.

Expérience négative: Our experience with Globe Property was horrible! They'll be nice to you only until you start experiencing issues and if you push the issue, they'll turn it against you. They ended up charging us over 400$ out of our damage deposit over a few scratches on the kitchen floor which we didnt even notice it was there until the last day. The trades people turned our balcony into their temporary storage and garbage area making it pretty much inaccessible. Not compensation or even an apology was issues but rather just "deal with it". The dryer on our floor was down for over a month until my boyfriend fixed it himself because the company clearly didnt appear to care. Caroline. Shes the property manager of this building and she'll never take accountability for anything and will instead blame it on you or just ignore the issue. Leave alone getting a hold of her. The list just goes on and on. So, If you're willing to tolerate this toxic environment then go ahead and do business with them. Otherwise, save your money and nerves and look elsewhere.

Expérience négative: I really recommend looking around to see if everything matches a move in report with any apartment with globe property management. I feel as I was taken advantage before a move in report and just casually signed it and not knowing I was suppose to see if everything was clean or broken before I had signed the move in report. But mind me this is a lesson for me as well. Over all this caretaker who had ''resigned'' did not do her job properly had marked everything with G's and C's, when I moved in it was dirty and I had been left with some broken things in the apartment. I don't know why they did not check in with this care taker to see if everything was ok before letting anyone rent the place. So when I moved out I was left with those damages and cleaning and it was my responsibly in the end. I had tried to explain it wasn't my fault to begin with but because ''I signed it'' and ''the other tenant will complain'' why wasn't that treatment given for me with the other tenant before me, this left me feeling upset. I was looking at the report I had signed before and that is when I had seen those g's and c's. I was only given a visible copy that I could not see anything. So yes this is a lesson for me but I have seen reviews relating about this as well. They got a new caretaker in my building after and he did a good with my move out report, and does a good job maintaining the building. Globe property management need better management and better workers cause obviously some one did not do their job. But hey like I said this is a lesson with this company that is for sure.

Right away they had told us no. A week after moving into this apartment we had seen pest control fuming up one of the suites for bed bugs… About a year into us living here a women had told us that they’re mice but I had confidently explained that we had never seen mice here before. Now about a month ago I had seen my first mouse while working from home. I called right away and they had someone come the next day to put up trap which I appreciated. 2 weeks go by and no one has called to follow up. We continue to see mouse poop and hear the mice in our heater vents. Today morning I woke up to my roommate screaming because there was a mouse in her room running around. We saw it with our own eyes go back in the vent. We called our building to let them know and the lady who answered seemed super annoyed and dismissive. Like we were inconveniencing them by having this problem. I will say that they act on it right away. We have an exterminator coming in. But the people you deal with our very rude and short in a time of stress.

Expérience positive: FOLLOWUP: After reading my previous review, I received a call from a lovely lady named Marcie asking me about my comments and concerns. During that conversation, many things were addressed and met with swift action. Although proper security for the break-in situation is still being looked at, I was able to get some much needed repairs done in my unit within 24-48 hours. Marcie left me with a feeling that there is someone at Globe that will listen to me and take care of their tenants in La Tour Eiffel A. Thank you. UPDATE: I have been living in La Tour Eiffel Bldg A for 9 years now and the level of service that I have received the past 1.5 years has been quite unacceptable. I have had my vehicle broken into on 3 occasions and was told by the Corporate office that we park at our own risk and that I shouldn't leave belongings in the vehicle. No effort has been made to provide security even though we have had vagrants trying to break into the building as well. I have had no repairs done in my suite for 5 years and still have the original cabinets that were there when I moved in(Instead of having the upgrades that have been done to all of the other units) and yet my rent is increased every year. I also had mice in my unit and was advised to buy dollar store traps as unless that I can prove there is a building infestation, because that would be the only way that they would bring in an exterminator. The only good thing about living here besides the proximity to numerous amenities are the building caretakers, William and Denise. However, they are leaving at the end of this month so I feel like all of the tenants will now be forgotten about as Globe doesn't seem to care about us, they only care about receiving the rent on time. I personally would not recommend renting from this company.

Expérience fantastique: My family and I moved into Edison Court six months ago. Jessica the resident manager took the time and explained everything clearly and showed us around the building which was important to us as newcomers to Canada. She is a very friendly girl, always comes to meet us. The building does not stink, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property and it is great! The corridor is always cleaned and the washing machines are always clean. With any problems or concerns, Jessica the resident manager will help. The maintenance staff that has come to fix on the few occasions we needed them, always are friendly and professional as well. I recommend Edison Court to others.

Expérience négative: Robin and Ashley slack off to the point that it will cause you financial loss. Because they took so long to handle a move-out, I lost almost $800. They are strict to the point that a woman with PR and a full time working married husband need a guarantor to move in. Also, Robin tried to unfairly charge me for scratches made by our previous tenants. If I didn't have video proof, I would have been charged a few hundred dollars. She had no proof for this, and somehow I had to prove this. Also, she tried to charge us for a couch that was left at the garbage even though it was not ours. She first notifies you that she will charge you without proof, and you will have to prove. Isn't it the other way around? Refrain from getting an apartment with Globe Property Management.

Regarding what you have written about charges, after we received your commination, we looked into your concerns and identified an error in our records. As soon as we verified this, the charges were removed, and you were issued a full refund. We have no issue admitting that errors were made on our end, but to suggest that our team "slacks off" is simply unfair. You had applied, been approved, and decided to vacate after only a few months on two separate occasions and we worked hard to accommodate this despite everything that had occurred. Our staff always responded to you in a timely manner and worked hard to satisfy your concerns many times.

Expérience fantastique: We have been living at Kelly House for about 8 years now and are very satisfied. To start I want to say that I absolutely love my apartment, however I do recognize that NO PROPERTY is perfect. Buildings need to be fixed, and sometimes that inconveniences me in some way (the alternative is to not have my building fixed and have problems later - I much prefer the proactive approach). Our current landlord is friendly, kind and hardworking. He has kept the place clean and the garbage taken care of, been responsive to questions and open to conversation. It goes without saying that no matter what building you live in, every landlord will a different style than others and will be better at some things than others. That's simply life and how humans work. During our time here we have had landlords who see the world in the same way as we do and others who do not. It makes sense that that this would be the case. Personal preferences aside, the staff has always treated us well and respectfully - and they do their best to be vigilant in posting updates, putting notices under the door and doing what they can to ensure we know what is going on. Do I always love it? No, but I can appreciate that building maintenance is better than the alternative (as already mentioned). Property mgmt has also been respectful, and when our landlord goes on vacation Carolyn is right there doing the vacuuming and cleaning up the foyer. I can see they try their best and they do what they can to ensure we are happy. When the parkade was projected for repairs, we got about a YEAR to get used to the idea and Global secured us another parkade to park in that is only a few blocks away (which I appreciated, as they could of just cancelled my parking and left me to fend for myself on the streets of downtown....not a great prospect). Overall my experience here has been lovely with no major complaints, it is a fabulous building in a fabulous area, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Expérience fantastique: Today I was having the worst experience with an important package delivery which was delivered at the wrong address. I called the courier customer service more than 20 times and their investigation time was taking too long and got too stressful. When I mentioned it to Shaun, the resident manager, he went above and beyond by going through the security footage and tracking the calls made at the other apartment building A to find out that it was delivered at the wrong apartment. He contacted the person who received the lost package and handed us our lost package at our doorstep. He worked beyond our expectation and works really hard all the time to take care of the people living in the property. This lead me to give the best reviews to the property management for its well-deserved service.

Expérience négative: Terrible experience with landlord. They withheld part of the security deposit I would like to dispute, but financial and time commitments make it virtually pointless to do so. Carpet was undamaged and unstained, yet they withheld $150 to get professional shampooing done in my dime. Dispute cost $50 filing fee, and in person trial is the next step. Government is useless when it comes to small claims, so I wouldn't be surprised if the landlord was intentionally doing this to get "free" maintenance on the former tenants dime.
Nathan, we're regretful that you had such a negative experience with us. Per the move-out cleaning guidelines issued to all residents, it is clearly noted that a carpet cleaning is required at the end of your tenancy. Failure to complete that may result in us having to incur that cost on your behalf. Main cons are and to be aware of: 1.)Above guideline rent increase every year. 2.)Roudy property manager who will try to intimidate you and go against RTB guidelines.You need to call RTB and RTB has to let the property manager know that they are wrong! 3.)The main problem I have encountered is the unwillingness to give the security deposit back and claim more than security deposit even if you cleaned really good.To the people reading this, please claim and fight back for your deposit through RTB. Each time you let it go, Property management take advantage of others, hoping no one will fight back.I am in the process of mediation and hearing with RTB for claiming back my security deposit, and will go as far as supreme Court:) if needed.Will be updating each step here so that all of viewers can see the progress. 4.) Beware of this property management, take pictures when move in and pictures and videos when move out. They are running a "BIG SCAM" by claiming against security deposit.Also,If you look through here, its clear that they are writing their own positive reviews.Read the real reviews on Reddit. Edit 1, reply to property manager; I am appalled by the audacity of you to lie through your tooth.Fortunately i have some pictures and will upload some, which shows your lies to the people reading this.
Dixon, it's unfortunate that we can't post pictures of your suite after you moved out, because they would tell a very different story from the one you've detailed here. An owner of a property shouldn't be responsible for repairing the damages that you left behind. No landlord anywhere would return a resident's security deposit if the resident left their suite in the condition that you did yours. It's really easy to sit behind a screen and call someone a scammer. Perhaps you should think about your impulses before acting on them. We hope this clears up any misunderstanding that you have about this situation.

The reply I got was "You can leave whenever you want but you are responsible to pay until end of your lease." Which I did. I was prepared to do that. I've made multiple complaints, most of which went unanswered and ignored. The responses they did make didn't solve the problem and they refuse to try anything else. This is an unhealthy and hazardous environment and they refuse to listen. Not only that, they refuse to let me leave. They are binding me to a lease, and if I want to leave I have to sublet this place.... That's right, they expect me to convince a new renter to move into this place. They know about the mold and they want someone else to move in prior to fixing the problem. They should be fined and shutdown. This is a health hazard and they're allowing it to persist.

Moving from Ontario to a province we've never been to was hectic enough, but they made the application process smooth and quick. The real gem however, has been our Resident Manager at Kelly House. Shaun has been amazing at making this moving process as hassle free as possible. His willingness to help and responsiveness has been bar none. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to get the place ready and help us settle in. If we could give more than 5 stars we would just because of the excellent customer service, and just overall friendliness and helpfulness of Shaun. I used to rent there property that is shelard manor on adsum drive. We faced many problems like water supply cuts and leakages. They don’t explain everything they are charging for . Don’t ever rent their property! Look for professionals instead

Expérience fantastique: My name is Joanne. I have lived at Norvilla Apts. for ten years. The bldg. is owned by Globe Property Mgt. since February of 2021. I am very impressed with this company and staff. When I have called the office, the staff was very friendly and able to answer my questions. They are very professional. Globe Mgt. has been on the top of it when it comes to the safety of the building and with rules concerning covid. When the company took over in February 2021 the property manger Caroline Mehra took the time out to introduce herself to all the tenants. She is a very friendly person and takes the time to respond to any of our concerns. Repairs get done quite promptly. I am extremely happy that our resident manger Eileen has stayed on with the new company. She has been here longer then I have, and looks after the tenants and really goes the extra mile here. The building is kept very clean at all times and the yard is kept up also. I like living here, its a good place to live and I feel safe here. I would recommend this place to any one who asks. yours truly

It seems like they are running a mind blowing scam by providing low quality service to their specific tenants and then offer them with the bill which they supposed to fix issues within the apartment by their own money. Never recommended. Be aware guys. Stay away from these scammers. You said, you don't have my record. Parminder, we ran a search and could not find your name listed in our resident database. We do not scam our residents. If any resident causes damage to the suite that they leave unrepaired, they are charged for that repair. If you were not a resident at one of our properties, we would suggest you remove your review.

I could have given zero star but there is no such option here. This is an answer to their reply in the thread. Well I was treated so bad when this property was owned by GLOBE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. So why not I post a review for the globe property. Well to answer the other question regarding unpaid rent and damage. That damage was caused by the sewerage backup that we have to pay. And how can you suppose us to live in an apartment full of sewerage water. It happened in the evening when sewerage water was flooding in the apartment and we had no place to live for 3-4 days after that and had to spend those days on wet carpets. Not an end to the story, after water backup there was repair work going on for several days. You can feel how we still managed because we were working in night shifts. But even when we were managing through all that we rent another property and planned to pay for both these rental units until the lease is over. We did not wanted to leave that property but they changed the lock overnight and locked us out. We were kicked out without any reason. How you can still defend yourself saying we were not cooperative enough.
Hello Gurmukh. We know now that you were at Kimberly Arms. We know that there was a sewage backup that caused water to enter your suite. We also know about the unpaid rent and many damages caused to the suite. Only residents who do not follow the rules will get charged after their lease is over. We reward cooperative residents with excellent service.
Expérience négative: Worst experience . I didn’t live there but when I visited my friends and I interacted with residence manager , he wasn’t professional at all. And my friends told me that they were charged falsely after they left. There was water overflow in all apartments on first floor and when property manager came for inspection and my friends ask for a other place to live as obviously you can’t live in sewerage water and she refused to provide anything for inconvenience. And when they were renovating the property my friends found a place somewhere else to live but also were paying the rent here. And one day while they were moving the stuff, residence manager changed the lock while rent wad paid for that period of time to and didn’t let them in to get their belongings. And when they asked if they cannot access the apartment, can they end the lease their at that time property manager came to play and send them a huge invoice of all the repairs that they done due to overflaw which wasn’t my friend’s fault and happened on whole first floor. They were leaving the place because of the faults of the property or residence manager and still have to pay for renovations, i cannot see any logic there. Worst properties ever.

Expérience positive: Moved to Eiffel Tower A 3 weeks ago and I love it!!! William the Property Manager is the best and handles any problem you may have very quickly. Building is clean and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

Expérience positive: I have lived at Kelly House on the 2nd floor for a few years now. The building is very clean and safe. Care taker Shaun has been amazing. Very respectful, clean and hardworking. He responds very quick when we have a question or a concern. At the moment the building is noisy due to the parkade renovation. Management and Shaun have been really good at communicating with tenants to let us know when to expect the loud noises. I appreciate the communication a lot. Our Senior Property manger, Caroline, have been great in answering a few questions I had and checking with us on how we are doing with all the noise that's been happening.

Expérience fantastique: I lived at Eiffel Tower A Apartments, the resident manager Will is the perfect landlord, so attentive and reliable. He always dealt with any questions or concerns in such a timely, professional and light-hearted manner, he goes above and beyond for all of his tenants. We couldn't have asked for a better landlord, I would recommend these towers to anybody. The apartment itself is in a great location, close to many things and very well kept. The place I live its very clean and tidy easily accessible to amenities. The manager and care taker is very helpful and kind. I would recommend people to experience this beautiful apartment.

Expérience négative: This is the worst experience I ever had in my life, this company will take all your deposit and charge you for the renovation of the whole unit. We moved out from one of the apartments under Globe management and they sent us a move-out statement which shocked us all as after they deducted all our deposit money ($565) we have to pay an extra amount of $682.22 and no one notices us about any charge until we received the bill. We've tried to clean the house from top to bottom before we leave but as they said it's not professional cleaning so we okay to pay for the cleaning charges, however, the most unreasonable charges are Tub Refinish, Shower Tiles & Closet Door damage, so we called one of the managers her name is Caroline to discuss these charges, we asked why do we have to pay for this charge as this is bathtub is old steel one with cheap paint on it and the paint will peel off over the time use, also we have no idea what Shower Title charge is, we asked for all pictures and breakdown invoice but she said "WE ONLY PROVIDE THESE THINGS IN COURT" so if we want to see them they will bring this to the court and we have to pay all court fee. This is an absolutely win-lose situation as we did take a picture of the unit before we leave because we think this is considered a big company in town so we trust them and did cover our ass. After all, she agreed to remove the door closet damaged charge ($82.22) as we said this door felt off right after few weeks we moved in, we call the site manager and they sent a technician came and he fixed it but it's felt off again a few days later, it's really about the quality of the door is too bad. This is still unfair for us but no choice as we don't want to go to court, we sent an email to ask the account manager Noreen send us the revised invoice after deduction so we can pay accordingly but they said: "We are still waiting for some invoices. We might have it available to you by tomorrow" but they didn't send anything so I have to follow up 2 times for about 2 weeks after. They sent a revised invoice with a $2.50 deduction, I said this is not the amount of what Caroline agreed to deduct, then they said: "Caroline instructed us not to reduce the amount as no plan had been put in place to date", so in my mind, Caroline is the most unprofessional and childish manager I've ever dealt with in my life, they didn't send us a revised invoice and ask us to pay right away. Finally, after back and forth emails, she has to give us the revised invoice at $600 we decided to pay all to end this horrible experience and this is the best money for a trust lesson. We will avoid this company at all costs.

As was discussed between you and your property manager, Caroline, if you felt that any of the charges billed to you had no merit, then you were advised to bring your concerns to the attention of RTB. If you felt that these charges did have merit, you were encouraged to make a payment plan/mediated agreement, which you did. During residency, disputes between roommates can arise. It is up to the residents/roommates to determine the best course of action to resolve these issues. If you have any questions pertaining to how damages are calculated, or how to settle disputes among roommates, then we again encourage you to reach out to the Residential Tenancies Branch so that they may assist you.
Expérience négative: DO NOT RENT FROM GLOBE! 22.5% rent increase during Covid times. Corporate gouging and tenant abuse. Tenants historically treated with extreme contempt and disrespect by managers and custodial staff. Cockroaches, rust in water and poor pressure, electrical highly dubious. Avoid Pamela apartments in Wolseley, find an ethical, competent non abusive landlord and save yourselves some heartache! re response, passed a poor guy on the stairs today, dejected as his rent jacked up $177 a month. Hello. We have looked into your comments and want to clarify a few things.
• We spent a considerable amount of capital at the Pamela Apartments and we applied through the Residential Tenancies Branch for an increase above the guideline, we were awarded a 22% increase, the increase passed on to you was 7.2%.
• Our resident managers work hard to provide a great place for all of our residents to live, they don’t deserve being subjected to name calling and abuse and as a company we do not tolerate that sort of behaviour.
• The Pamela is a wonderful older building in Wolseley that has a lot of long term residents. We are constantly working to improve our buildings without destroying the character that you can only find in buildings of this age.

Expérience fantastique: We moved to Century Grant on Canada Day 2018. As our unit was a sublet one, it had several issues which required repairs/sprucing up by the management. Our resident manager, Miranda meticulously took note of the things that needed repair and these were addressed one by one, depending on the availability of the concerned handymen. As newcomers to Canada, we are very fortunate to have been accommodated by a good company and assisted by a very hands-on resident manager. Update after 2 years: When my daughter was born February of this year, we needed to get a bigger apartment. We liked the place so much that we did not hesitate to apply for a bigger unit in the same building. As expected, our resident manager, Miranda, helped us find tenants who wanted to sublet. When we found the perfect unit, moving out of our old unit and moving into the new one was seamless and effortless. The unit we moved into was fresh and pristine, consistent with strict standards maintained by Globe Property Management. Kudos to Globe. Kudos to your people who assist us tenants. Much is appreciated.

Expérience fantastique: I have good experience living at the Chalsam House. I spent +4years at the property. I love the serenity of the property. None of the neighbours were noisy. You'd hardly see anyone expect on Fire drill days. The Resident Managers were awesome. They are quick to attend to matters no matter the time of the day (even on their off days). They are always ready to help. They disseminate information promptly and send reminders via text messages. When I complained about smoking around the property, neighbours who defaulted the agency's policy on smoking were sent packing. Thank you RM for your hard work in ensuring the property is always clean. . However, what I enjoyed most was the professionalism of the office staff in handling official matters. They are polite, courteous and show concerns whenever a matter of personal nature arises. They are quick to accommodate. When I had some personal issues, the concern was overwhelming and for this I'm grateful. Certainly one of the best property managers you can find in MB. How I wish they have properties on the other side of Bishop Grandin towards the perimeter, I'd have gladly moved there. Looking for an apartment??? Check out Globe Property Managers. Expérience négative: Avoid Canterbury House at all costs! The manager and janitor are horrible people. They do not reply to your maintenance requests and you can rarely reach them via phone even during working hours. Their negligence of a simple maintenance issue (for months) ended up causing significant damage to my possessions. I was going to let things go if they fixed the issue but even til now they have been nothing but rude/nonresponsive. I will be filing a claim at the residential tenancies board for compensation as I have had enough of this unacceptable behaviour.

Expérience négative: charlesdale gardens at 3201 grant ave Owned by globe property is a terrible place to live. No ventilation in the bathroom or kitchen, old shaggy carpets, outdated, you always need to check the water before drinking it to make sure it’s not brown, the water pressure in the showers are terrible and most of the tenants are very rude and cranky people who complain when you drop something on the floor. The washers and dryers are old and don’t work very well, the washing machine leaves your clothes still soaking wet you need to ring out the clothes before putting them in the dryer and even then it won’t complete dry your clothes you need to put it in 2 dryers. The apartment building always smells terrible, the lights in the halls remind me of an old abandoned hospital from horror movies. For the amount that they charge this place is not worth it.

Expérience fantastique: My father has lived in a Globe Property Management property for 2 years and has an excellent experience. The property managers Wendy and Glen always respond quickly to calls with a patient and caring manner. They are often seen in the building, e.g. cleaning windows and floors, ensuring the building is always clean and presentable. They have made my father's home welcoming, safe, and comfortable. Wendy kindly helped oriented my father to the laundry machines and security system. The security system is reliable and easy to use. My father's apartment was available when promised; was modernized and clean, when he moved in. A ramp to the front door is heaven sent; it is easy to use to haul in groceries and when my father needed a wheelchair/walker temporarily, the ramp was wonderful. The drink machine in the lobby is a nice treat! The laundry room is very clean and convenient, and the laundry card means he does not have to find coins all the time. The parking in the back is cleared of snow regularly and has power outlets. Parking on the front street is fabulous for visitors. When speaking to Caroline with Globe Management, she explained Globe's policies clearly and concisely in a very pleasant manner. Caroline responded quickly to our call and provided us with her direct line, for future questions, which is excellent service! We highly recommend Globe Property Management!

Expérience négative: Every year they apply to the Residential Tenancies Board for a significantly above-guidance rent increase (Windwood Gardens). Update 1: I can add that an appeal of the Landlord’s April 1, 2020 rent increase of 4.7% was heard by the Residential Tenancies Commission on March 12, 2020 (that is almost 4 months ago) and as of this date (July 17, 2020) the Landlord has not won a decision in favour of that 4.7% increase. Update 2: Globe Property Management’s budget-busting rent increases of 5.6% (effective April 1, 2019) and 4.7% (effective April 1, 2020) have now been considered and blessed by the Residential Tenancies Commission. This is so sad!
Hi Bruce. In Manitoba, we have an annual guideline rent increase that’s announced by the government. For building owners who choose to invest capital in their properties to maintain them at a higher level to provide both a better experience for their residents as well as prolong the life of the building, there is an ability to apply for an increase above the guideline. The above guideline procedure is spelled out in the Residential Rent Regulation, which you can read more about at this link: https://www.gov.mb.ca/cca/rtb/resource_list/aboveguidelinerentincr.pdf. We work hard at Windwood Gardens to provide our residents with a great place to call home.
Expérience positive: I live at the Strathcona House apartment, and the apartment building is the cleanest that its ever been. The Resident Manager is so nice and gets the repairs taken care of right away, I feel that he's doing a fantastic job. And the Property Manager is so kind and will try to help you with any concerns that you may have.
