Expérience négative: My building is unmaintained. The worst it's been from 5 companies. There's garbage. They fired the cleaners and sold when the going got tough passing off the unreliable staff to the next company. My apartment was flooded and I got half a repair. The building has pest issues no repairs and a dirty laundry room with unworking machines. The parking situation is a nightmare as well. I wouldn't advise renting from them unless you Want endless stress

Expérience négative: No one should move here. You will be disturbed by the noise every day and no one comes to help in any situation. We had to go to the toilet outside for 20 days. This is the first time in my life that I have seen such a terrible house. This company does not help at all when I need something. All my complaints and messages have always resulted in negative results.

Expérience négative: Poorest Property Management in London - Old Oak North London The property has a very good location, and most of the staff are kind and professional. Unfortunately, the current management is a disappointment. The manager is not approachable, often unprofessional when dealing with tenants, and several neighbors have shared similar negative experiences. While most staff members greet tenants warmly, the manager usually comes across as dismissive, often with a cigarette in hand. The previous resident manager and office staff were always helpful and supportive, but sadly, we seem to be losing the good ones because of the current management.

Expérience négative: Poorest Property Management in London - Old Oak North London We want to express our growing frustration with the management at Old Oak. Back in 2023, the previous resident manager, admin staff, and leasing team were genuinely helpful, professional, and responsive. Any positive feedback you may have received likely reflects the efforts of that former team, not the current management. Unfortunately, since the change in staff, the level of service has noticeably declined. Every time we raise a concern, the current team, especially the property manager Veniessa and the admin staff, makes us feel like we are the problem. Rather than accepting accountability or addressing issues properly, they shift blame onto tenants. Concerns such as mold growth or lack of proper exhaust in the unit are dismissed as if they are our own responsibility to fix, despite the fact that we are paying nearly $1,900 per month. This is unacceptable for a property charging premium rates. The only real reason we remain here is because of the location. Other rental properties nearby have already lowered their monthly rates or introduced more value for tenants, while Old Oak has kept rates high with no sign of improvement in service. Even basic things like parking come at an extra cost. We fully understand that high rent may reflect market conditions, but with that, we expect professional and respectful customer service. Providing quality support and showing empathy toward tenants doesn't cost you anything, but it makes a significant difference to the people who live here. To make matters worse, we are not alone in this experience. Many of our neighbors have shared similar frustrations and are also considering moving out due to the poor service and unhelpful attitude from the current management team. We sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements. Your tenants deserve better.

Expérience négative: 905 Pomeroy Place is great place in winter but hell in the summer. Year over year the A/C goes out for lengthy periods of time. We have a significant number of elderly folks as well in this building and heat is very unhealthy . Shameful.

Can you please do something about the homeless getting in the building. Smoking on the stairs.Get security to patrol since you don't have on site building managers anymore. Expérience fantastique: Old Oak is the best in London. I've worked with different house rental companies, and I can honestly say that Old Oak stands out as the best. We're about to move into another Old Oak building, and the experience has been fantastic. When we applied for the rental, our leasing consultant, Diana, was incredibly helpful. She made everything easier for us and explained every step of the process clearly. It was the smoothest leasing experience we've ever had. Also, when you move into one of the Old Oak buildings, they provide a welcome package in the unit. It's a simple but thoughtful gesture—you’ll find basic essentials that you might need when you move in. It's a small touch, but it really makes you feel welcome.

Expérience négative: The AC in the building is set at 24 Celsius (78 Fahrenheit), but with the southwest exposure that my apartment has, the temperature soars to 26 -28 Celsius (82 -86 Fahrenheit) every afternoon, which is miserable. I've been told there is nothing that can be done, but this is untrue. The settings can be changed. Many of my neighbors have complained about the same thing & have gotten the same response. Old Oak does not seem to care about the comfort and safety of their tenants, at least with respect to the summer heat.

Expérience fantastique: I'd like to do a BIG SHOUT-OUT for Romeo, one of the Old Oak staff here at Hyde Park Place (& specifically Bldg 1605). Since I'd forget my head if it wasn't pop riveted on, the other day I left my iPad & some medical papers in the mailroom. Romeo noticed the iPad/papers & brought same to our apt. Now, he could have just left them in the office, but he went that extra step, saving me the upset of realizing the iPad & papers were gone, & then searching for same. This may seem like no big deal, but it isn't. Excellent, as well as even good, customer service is rapidly becoming just a memory. Yet the staff at 1605 HPP have always maintained it. This is a VERY GOOD bldg to live in, as we have for over 9 yrs., & it's the staff here that make it that way.

It was unlike any experience I’ve had before with a leasing company. It was quite disheartening, difficult and frustrating.

There was no complaints that I could think of as she showed me the model suite, and she made it clear what was going to be different in comparison to the suite I was actually going to rent. Complete transparency and I am very pleased with the suite. Above all I know from previous experiences how hard and long the process can be to rent a new room as a young adult. She made it much easier then I expected it to be and I couldn't give higher praise.

Expérience fantastique: I went to do an inspection and get the keys to my apartment from Ene Peter. She was very attentive and explained everything I needed to know regarding the resident's rules and duties. She made herself available for any questions I might have and left me at ease regarding my move.

Expérience négative: Confirmed by at least two staff, the new thermostats installed has lower fan capabilities, causing temperatures to be higher than previous. This was made to “conserve” energy. I am not sure how Old Oaks see tenants but clearly very low and they think we are very stupid. I stand next to any vent in my apartment and it is bringing little to no cool air. Everything was working just fine why disturb the comfort of your tents. Old Oaks properties has failed to provide minimal communication decency and transparency. Bringing a note that says “ Eneegy/Mechnical check” giving the tenant an impression that a routinely check will be made. This was far from the case, Old Oak properties had their employees knock on tenants doors remove their thermostat and drill the wall with a new thermostat that has less cooling capabilities. Perhaps the vagueness was an insurance policy, who knows but there really seems to be no limit as to how far Old oak properties would go to do such disturbing acts. The temperature outside is 17 and the temperature inside is 24, so we are back to opening windows like when we didn’t have AC over a month. The most disturbing part all of this is your Mosaic website saying phrases such as “Exceptional rental experience” “Luxury amenities” ⁃ catchy phrases with no actions We pay the electricity bill so I’m not sure what exactly is being conserved but I’m sure there were a few cents in maintenance or other expenses that could be saved from the management at the expenses of the tenants comfort and this is why it was done. Again, I have every right and every reason to assume and think the worse as little to no information was provided to tenants about these changes Update: a glimpse of how horrible these people are, the leasing agent for sugarcreek units will almost always show you the 365 building regardless, whether you are renting that one or any other sugarcreek units 365 does not have an eliminated fan for the thermostat… you will see the best but once you rent, you will see the worst

Expérience négative: We are new residents as of November 2023. They rented us a dream, claiming these were luxury residences with A/C. Throughout April and more than two weeks into May, our apartment became unbearable, sometimes reaching 29 degrees. I work from home and started feeling exhausted four hours before my shift ended. After numerous calls to management, they activated the A/C, and honestly, it worked well, making the apartment experience quite decent. After a month and a week (a few days ago), they sent us letters stating they would be checking the house's electricity and other thing quoting “ Electrical/Mechanical Check”. Giving an understanding to tenants that a routinely check will be made, this was from the case. Old Oak Properties employees came knocking on the door in a really annoying manner. They entered and changed the entire A/C system. The ventilation used to work on high when it was hot, but now it's on low. I won't hide the fact that as I write this comment, it’s 16 degrees outside and 24 degrees in the house.This is while I am producing no heat appliances (dishwasher, dryer… all off) Confirmed by two staff members why this was, they said it was to save energy, even though it’s the residents who pay for electricity. If Old Oak Properties wants to be part of an eco-friendly policy, I strongly encourage that, but not at the expense of the residents who pay a fortune to live in their residences. As a process engineering engineer, when I did project studies for food factories, my country encouraged renewable energy, and I always implemented solar energy in food factories. This is what Old Oak Properties could have done by installing solar panels to take advantage of the summer period. At the very least, they would preserve a lot of energy in the common areas of the building, such as elevators and lights. If they had done this, they would have achieved the same result in reducing energy consumption. But the aim is not to conserve energy is to save a few cents at the tenants expense and comfort.

She showed us our new unit 904 at 585 Proudfoot, answered all our questions and erased all our concerns. It’s a big fortunte that old oak has such nice and hardworker manager. Our unit has been cleaned up, and even we are given a welcome gift too! Thanks Ene, thanks Oldoak!

Expérience négative: Very Dirty, Unsafe, Leaks everywhere, Mold, Garbage everywhere, Rodents, Homeless people, front doors never locked and often wide open. Absolutely no management. They will blame you on their mismanagement. Above average rental increase. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Forest Hill Apartments by Old Oak Properties. Slum Lords would be putting it nicely. They keep apologizing in the reviews, however it's getting a lot worse. Please stop apologizing.

Expérience fantastique: Leasing consultants, Johnathan Couturier and Regan Kiser at Old Oak Properties have been very helpful in finding the ideal apartment for me. I have visited the rental office five times and asked dozens of questions. Each time, both Regan and Johnathan were patient and knowledgeable in answering all my questions and advising me about the various floor plans and options in a professional and transparent way. Highly recommended!

Expérience négative: Bad faith, Mistrustful They advertise that they have AC and when I asked Leanna (leasing agent), when is the air-conditioning turned on the answer was reasonable time . It is middle of May and still no AC. London is full of nice apartments that don’t have an AC and at a much more reasonable price. It comes out as a trap when they charge a high price of “ luxury and comfort” and it’s been over a month since I wanted to use air-conditioning. The website says that they have AC. Yeah maybe they turn it on for a month or two.. who knows.. but there are other condos in London Ontario, where the AC is available from April or earlier at the same time”luxury price” don’t bother Contacted them about the issue “the legal guideline is week of May 15”.. where was that sentence in your website or upon signing… continued with “We are so sorry we will try to get that done” always apologizing but struggling to get things done. Temperature in your room will reach to 28c with 2.5K a month rent for 2ppl?! This is in the Mosaic buildings… Update: as seen below Lie after Lie.. they said from May 15th in this response.. today is May 15th and no A/C.. also London By-Law require you to provide Heat until June 15th .. nothing is mentioned about A/C as per the by law it is not a “vital service”… your inability to provide both heat and A/C has nothing to do with City By-Laws

He was like old Oak is really stepped up at the game and it’s renovations and it’s staffing.

Expérience négative: Glad I left Pomeroy Place. Started off in 2014 as a mint executive building with rent at $1.024. High turnover in Building Managers resulted in a sharp decline in cleanliness and overall safety. Old Oak should not allow applicants to have co-signers apply. Everyone should be subject to a credit bureau and crimial records check. Happy homeowner now.

He was always prepared and answered my questions in a timely manner. I was not able to visit the unit prior to renting, however, he provided clear photos and specific details of the unit which helped immensely in signing the final papers! No, not the opener to a GOT or scary tv episode. I am so happy I took the time to drive down! I walked in and instantly felt right at home! Patrick was affable, professional, witty, courteous and frankly trustworthy! What an ambassador for the Brand, the most important thing I care about is the safety of my daughter. Without having to ask Patrick highlighted all the information for my daughter and I to make a decision. There was no hard sell, just the facts, two things swayed me, Patrick’s understanding and respect to address my daughter, ensuring he answered all her questions and the pride in which he spoke about his company and the building he was showing us!
