Expérience négative: Re/Max Experts, specifially Mike Squadrilla, has been an unresponsive and unsympathetic Broker of Record. In early July 2024 I signed a Buyer's Representative Agreement (BRA) with John Burdi who's part of Remax Experts. The agreement had a 6 month term. In late July when I approached John to try to amend the agreement he reacted in a very unprofessional manner getting very angry with me, raising his voice and threatening to sue me to collect his commissions rather than trying to be reasonable and help me buy a new house. I eventually asked him to cancel the BRA as i didn't wish to work with him any longer at which point he refused to cancel the agreement and i would be subject to his 6 month term even though he spent very little time with me. I contacted the Broker of Record Mike Squadrilla to help cancel the BRA but even Mike was unwilling to do that and instead defended John's unprofessional behaviour. I followed up with Mike and he has been unresponsive on this matter. Warning to you all out there - Please watch out for the term you agree to in your Buyers' Representative Agreement. Don't sign a long period of time as you may be held hostage with them like me.

Expérience négative: I had a very disappointing experience with Ferro. I went to an open house in Oakville organized by Ferro. No one showed up, and the house was closed. I called the office and promised that someone would call me immediately, but no one called. I heard back from Ash, who is an amazing guy and managed our disappointment with the listing agent's attitude. However, when we visited the house, it was staged but full of dust; I think no one cared about the owner's investment or showed up responsibly. Be careful in your agent choice!
