Fantastic experience: FPM is the best property management company I have ever rented from. I honestly can't say enough good things about my experiences with FPM over my 5-year tenancy. Throughout the moving in and moving out process - they were always very quick to respond to my needs and questions. Any maintenance requests I put in were dealt with the same day and was met with understanding and kindness. I can also report that many of my neighbors rent from FPM and say the same things. We are always so impressed with their efficiency and professionalism - from the Office to Maintenance Staff! I am sad to be losing FPM as a landlord, but very vey happy with my experience!

Positive experience: Recently worked with FPM to sign a lease for a unit they were showing and managing tenant applications for a 3rd party owner. They were flexible and worked with my local family to quickly arrange a viewing since I'm still out of the country. Everyone we worked (thanks Elizabeth, Hailey, and I think Diane) with was expedient with communications and we were kept aware of the next steps along the way. The entire process from expressing interest to signing the lease only took about a week. Their formal application is pretty detailed and it seems like there's probably a lot of scrutiny of applicant income and history. I can only speak to my own experience which was very positive. Will update if anything arises that's within FPM's control.

Fantastic experience: From a renters experience, FPM was absolutely top notch. Rented from them for two years and it was a very refreshing experience after 12 years of nothing but negative landlord experiences all over Ontario. So nice not needing to be assertive or roll into a conversation armed with knowledge of the RTA. Took me a few months to get used to haha. They were kind, very professional, spoke in full sentences, even answered the phone on Christmas day when my furnace went out during a storm. The person that answered took an hour out of their day to walk me through troubleshooting steps and even gave me a follow-up call later on to make sure it was still working. We had a couple mix ups throughout my tenancy, but they were very fast to communicate and put in genuine effort to make sure everything was fine. Any maintenance request was taken care of in record breaking time with someone who actually cared, treating the place like your home not just an investment. I had to move away from Kingston fairly suddenly, and leaving my rental with FPM was the first time I have been sad moving out of a place. Would highly recommend renting from them. No classic rental/landlord BS to be found here. Great stuff.

We are a military family from the U.S. getting stationed in Canada and Frontenac was very responsive and friendly from start to finish while we searched for a home. We were able to view a home virtually and do everything over the phone or email since we are overseas and could not be there in person. Review from 2020: We rented from Frontenac Management for almost 3 years until we had to relocate for work. The staff and everybody at the office has been amazing from the start and always extremely quick to address minor repairs and general maintenance. Negative experience: I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the handling of my rental property under your management for three months!!!! Despite my unit being in excellent condition and listed during high season, your team was unable to secure a tenant. This lack of results is both frustrating and unacceptable, given the prime rental period and the fact that my unit is highly desirable. To add to my frustration, I decided to switch property management companies, and the new manager was able to rent the unit within just one week. This stark contrast in performance speaks volumes about the inefficiency and lack of proactivity shown by your company. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and effort, particularly during such a crucial rental period. Unfortunately, you have not lived up to these expectations, and I will not be recommending your services in the future. Worst property management I have ever worked with!!!

I was first time renting in Canada, coming here from Europe, which made the situation quite unique. Frontenac offered ways to work when others were not able, or willing to.
