They dealt with all the issues and if I had to get involved, they were very professional. When I went to sell my place, they took care of everything at the end. Expérience négative: The property manager tried to keep our damage deposit, despite instruction from the property owner to return it in full. Refused to handle even the smallest of repairs or issues, and would try to access the property without 24 hours notice. Renters be warned.

Expérience positive: Renting a home as an immigrant comes with many challenges - difficulty in accepting you by the landlords due to fear of financial capacity. Most times, even with a show of capacity, landlords consider cultural differences. Yes! It comes into play. However, ReMax Pro made it easy for me. With their years of experiences, they have a way of professionally cutting off the barriers and mitigating any inherent risks associated with rentals. Thanks to Anna Maria, who took it upon herself in ensuring I get a comfortable accomodation for my family and I. Anna is so wonderful, pays attention without prejudice, offers sound advice and support.

Expérience négative: Unfortunately, my experience with this property management company has been very disappointing. Communication was inconsistent and often nonexistent, even when issues were time-sensitive or directly impacting my tenants and my responsibilities as an owner. In addition to ongoing communication and follow-through concerns, I experienced comments made about my body/weight that were unprofessional and inappropriate, and entirely unrelated to the business relationship. This alone significantly affected my trust and comfort working with the company. When I raised concerns about a manager not acting in my best interest as a property owner, those concerns were not meaningfully addressed. Rather than feeling supported or advocated for, I was left feeling dismissed and having to intervene myself to resolve matters that should have been handled on my behalf. Overall, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and owner advocacy created unnecessary stress and required far more time and involvement than expected from a property management service. I entered this relationship expecting transparency, professionalism, and proactive management, and unfortunately those expectations were not met. I would strongly encourage others to ask very detailed questions about communication standards, boundaries, and how owner interests are protected before committing.

Expérience négative: The absolute worst experience. They asked for detailed financials before viewing the property and after one and a half months the rental house was still vacant. I asked for flexible move in dates and Sheila was extremely inflexible. She did not present my circumstances to the owner and even after I agreed to all of the conditions she told me with no proof that I was not approved. It was a complete waste of 1.5 months with no communication. Please do not waste your time going through this company. Find a rental through many other companies that have much better service.

They found the best tenant for us and were most thorough in documenting all aspects of the rental process on our behalf. They are most professional in dealing with homeowners, all questions etc were answered promptly and knowledgeably. I recommend them if you are looking for ‘reliable’ property managers and have recommended them to others.

Expérience négative: I'm truly shocked by the amount of 5* reviews for this company and suspect that many of these come from the owners and not the tenants. Why I would never rent with remax again: - the staff have almost no knowledge of the properties they're showing and don't bother to either keep notes or do their due diligence before showing. When we viewed the place we eneded up taking, we were told multiple lies about the property and the truth was conveniently only revealed after we signed the lease. These lies happened to be the only reason we took the place. - the person who showed us a couple of places (thankfully retired) just so happened to be much more thorough, friendly, and helpful when my husband was present vs when he showed to me alone. - there's barely any flexibility for the time that you can view apartments if you have a daytime job. Remax expects you to be employed to be able to pay for the apartment, but also expects you to be available between 8-4 on weekdays to view when it's convenient for them. Good luck if you don't have a flexible workplace and/or schedule. - the unit that we received was FILTHY, although we were assured that it would be professionally cleaned before we moved in. Anna-Maria, as my husband pulled cobwebs off the ceiling and pointed out the splatter on the kitchen wall, assured us that this is what they consider to be clean. There was paint spatter all over the floors, copious holes in the walls (that we were told we were welcome to fix ourselves), and dirt and grime everywhere. Remax also graciously left metal rods (i.e. garbage) in the unit and told us we can dispose of them ourselves. This, of course, was followed by an email at move-out time stating that we are not to leave anything when we move out or we will be charged. - no upkeep was done in our unit between the previous tenant moving out and us moving in. On top of the work of moving, we had to coordinate with them to have them fix many things in our first weeks. They didn't even bother to install the tension rod for the shower curtain, and left it in the bottom of the tub. When we asked about it, Anna-Maria told us that we would have to wait for someone to come install it or do it ourselves. - the communication with the team, especially Shiella, is awful. When we were moving out, I had the team send me an email and then call me within 2 hours about a showing while I was still waiting for a reply to an email I sent a week prior. Shiella seems to feel no need to reply to any emails unless she's told to and passes things off that we're then told by someone else were her responsibility to do. - their follow-through with maintenance requests is highly variable. We had a leak under the sink that they were going to wait over a week to fix until we stated that we were not responsible for the water damage if they waited. We also waited over a year to have them fix the water temperature issue in the shower, despite multiple requests and even plumbers being there for other things. It ended up being a 5-minute job. I really wish I had good things to share but the only nice thing I have to say is that Leigh was friendly when she came for inspections and showings. We have lived multiple places and this has been our worst rental experience by far.

The main difference at the start was the other company would answer my questions with limited detail-- and it would leave me with more questions, so I felt like there was a lot more back and forth and I felt like I was being annoying and needy. Everyone I have dealt with so far has been friendly, professional, and seem to enjoy what they do-- which is always, always noticeable in the customer experience. Since this is my first time I felt like I needed more advice, so I would ask for it and they would be super helpful-- but it also seemed like if I knew exactly what I was doing and didn't want any advice-- they'd perfect for that too. They have consistently placed tenants more quickly so we are not out rental income. Expérience négative: Although the staff have been pleasant and professional in communication …We are dissatisfied with the services of Remax staff. The staff members we worked with lacked knowledge of the properties we they showed us, were unable to answer questions and did not bother ‘getting back to us’ with the answer as they said. With the rental market as it is we ended up taking the only option available and it was through Remax Rental Pros. I thought ‘ ok this will be fine !’ I WAS WRONG -the damage and filth of the unit upon our move in/inspection almost made me cry. To have the Remax apologies for the state of the unit and then ask assume we were not moving in until later in the month. ( thinking they had 20 days to ‘fix’ the unit right) Pros does seem to be a bit of a stretch in their name. I had higher hopes for this to be an easy going experience simply because we were dealing with a reputable property management company. Nope I’d give zero stars but due to friendly email communication I’ll give ⭐️
