Expérience fantastique: They’ve been the property manager for my building for 3-4 years now. Their office is responsive, maintenance requests are dealt with promptly, and all the maintenance workers I have met were great. They did some changes that negatively affected tenants, like removing half of the washer dryer. But overall I have been a happy tenant!

Expérience fantastique: Such great service from Axon maintenance. When our washer was acting up we contacted them and the tech was here the next day to assess. Less than 3 days later a new washer was delivered and installed. We had a cracked window pane in our front door. again contacted Megan Gravesande , Maintenence Coordinator at Axxon. She was immdediately helpful and arranged once again to have a window specialist come by to measure for new window. Next day he was there to install a new window unit with screen in door. Nothing but good things to say about Axon as they take good care of tenants under their management. Great work Megan, Thanks again! John and Rachel@57.

We were put into contact with Silvestre who bent over backwards to help us find the perfect place for our needs. Expérience fantastique: I wanted to post a review so that this employee is recognized as exceptional . I had Charlie come Friday afternoon to complete some plumbing maintenance repairs . The repairs were quite involved but he was amazing and explained everything as he completed the work. He went above and beyond and made sure I had new kitchen taps that worked before he left . He was polite and courteous and assured me that Axon will complete the bathroom taps repair but this reqiuire a plumber . Thank you Charlie . I sincerely appreciate your diligent work

Expérience négative: Predatory property management company. Their properties are poorly maintained, their response time is akin to a snail moving through peanut butter, and them addressing any request feels like a lottery that you never seem to win. Under no circumstances should you rent a property with them, save yourself the headache and avoid them. You can physically feel how little they care about their tenants. 2025 Update: Felt compelled to provide some specific examples 1) They locked my cat in a room without food, water and litter box for hours after a unit inspection despite explicit instructions to leave bedroom doors open. Accidents happen… but this was so careless. 2) Scheduled maintenance people neverrrr enter your unit on the scheduled day. Why bother sending a notice, or asking tenants what day you can enter if you’re incapable of honouring that? 3) The laundry machine seems to be broken more often than it’s functional. Only one old washer and dryer for an entire building. 4) The (Colborne St.) building is dirtyyy. Just poorly maintained. 2 straight weeks of electricians drilling into the walls leaving a snowfall of concrete dust covering the ground.

Expérience négative: I have come to change my review of Axon. Yes the process of trying to rent an apartment from another province appeared to be easy thanks to Colin. Turns out when I arrived it was not such a great apartment. The apartment was filthy dirty with human feces still left on the back of the toilet. The building is very poorly maintained with garbage overflowing in the back area on a regular basis. The building is not cleaned on a regular basis and tenants often are smoking in the hallways and rarely clean up their dog feces. Unfortunately I am now stuck in a lease for the next year in an apartment building that is dirty and poorly maintained. The laundry room only has one working dryer for a building of about 25 apartments. It has two washing machines one of which rarely will accept the coins and leaks water all over the floor making it a hazard when switching your laundry over. I have reached out multiple times to try and get some of these issue resolved only to have Colin come out with a bunch of lip service of this will get fixed and that will get fixed and nothing is ever done. I would love to see this company held accountable for their poor management skills.

Sam Knight never hesitated to go out of his way to answer all of the questions we had, and he was always quick to respond, making this a great first experience for myself and my friends.
Expérience négative: I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent, unresponsive, and careless property management company in my life. They do not care at all about their tenants. It’s impossible to get a straight answer or any accountability. Every time I follow up, I get vague excuses or complete silence. I’m literally paying full rent for a unit with a broken appliance they’ve ignored for months. It’s honestly pathetic how little they respect the people living in their buildings. If you’re considering renting from them — don’t. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this

Expérience fantastique: I'm giving a 5 star because from my experiences, ever since axon took over the building, they've been quick to answer, and they get the problem solved and taken care of. Last owners we had did nothing for the building, and I've noticed a huge difference since axon taking over, and I'm sure many more good changes to come.
Expérience négative: Very poor service in terms of responding to emails, customer service and most of all maintenance requirements! For example, our dryer broke and it took over a month for them to come and fix it. They would send someone each week to tell us the same thing that was wrong but didn’t do anything about it in a timely manner and didn’t keep us in the loop.

Expérience négative: Never sign a lease for 286 , 294 conacher drive. Signed a lease on 11 aug to move in on 1 sept . This is what you get when they say everything would be renovated and they did a pre-moving inspection. No appropriate solution was provided from the rental office. Think twice before using their services

Expérience fantastique: We recently leased a student property from Axon - with quite a few repairs to be done this summer, I was worried that about whether or not it would all happen ... but they did it and I am so impressed by their diligence and sticking to the timeline. Sam and Jeremy were both excellent from start to finish! From day 1, Sam showed up with donuts to 'welcome' us, and everything Jeremy said would be done has either happened or is happening on schedule. The unit was completely cleaned before the move-in date and was really excellent and so appreciated. It is such a relief to know there are property managers like this for student housing because there are so many terrible situations with landlords out there, with properties charging enormous rents for units or houses that are in terrible condition (and frankly, unsafe). We feel very fortunate for the care and to have found a truly well-maintained and managed property - kudos to both Sam and Jeremy and to Axon for being a quality organization. Thank you so much, highly recommended from a grateful tenant's mom ;0)

Expérience négative: Was told during showing that the building didn't have any bug problems, they very much do and have had pest control here, so they were and are aware of the issue. Was told from other tenants that my apartment is the "floading apartment" apparently it floads in the spring anytime we get a fair amount of rain. I havent experienced this but I have mold spots growing in the apartment to prove it. My neighbor continues to let her dogs piss and shit all over the stairs and lobby then leaves it there. Axon will send "cleaners" which dont remove any of the piss filled carpets they just mop around them. Ive had a broken window in my living room prior to moving in that is still broken. 4 windows in the apartment and only 1 of them have a screen that isnt ripped or bent. Theres no working buzzer system and hasnt been since moving in. I have only been here since mid April, but have raised my concerns on multiple occasions. The parking lot floads because of clogged sewer drains causing basically a lake when it rains. Axon refuses to pay the cost to have it properly fixed. There is constantly garbage around the dumpsters, more outside the bin than inside. They are quick to reply if they think they can rent out their dumpy apartment, but dont return tenants calls until you get frustrated and leave a rude message. Then will fail to communicate if they are sending someone to your unit to do maintenance and just have workers show up at your door. Again, all these issues since mid April with none of them taken care of. If i could rate Axon with a zero star, I would! I highly recommend continuing your search before agreeing to rent through Axon, or you may find yourself moving again 3 months after moving in like I am. Don't make the same mistake!

Expérience négative: Worst landlords ever. Axon does everything they can to scam people. The house I am renting from them has rats, which we found out that axon knew about this before we signed the lease, they respond very quickly until the very day you sign the lease, then it will take a while to hear back about anything. They also gave my house codes out to multiple different maintenance companies (even though they are supposed to be there to let them inside). Worst experience ever.

Expérience négative: Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Disorganized! My partner and I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Axon Property Management. We were applying for a lease takeover through friends of ours and were made to jump through endless hoops just to be considered. We were told we’d receive an update before the start of the next month so we could notify our current landlord – that update never came. Our application was passed between three different people, and each time we had to resend the same documents. Despite providing extensive personal and financial information (what felt like giving them an arm and a leg), they continued to ask for more. Even worse, we weren’t even given the chance to submit the additional information we had already sent multiple times. In the end, they denied our application, citing an inability to verify our income – a situation they created themselves by mismanaging our documentation. The entire process felt careless, cold, and unprofessional. Communication was non-existent, and the whole ordeal was a massive waste of our time. If you’re looking for a property management company that’s communicative, organized, and respectful of your time and effort — look elsewhere. Axon clearly doesn’t value its applicants and shows zero regard for the stress and inconvenience they cause.
Expérience négative: Lived with Axon for 5 years - They didn't do work orders on time, didn't have up to code fire alarms. When the people above us set their stove on fire 5 time YES 5 times we reported them to Axon as this isn't safe (kept falling asleep while cooking) they did nothing not even reach out to them they said call 911. They tried telling us when we gave notice to leave that they wanted us out before their office opened on our last day I advised them we had until mid night and I was going to use it. They also gave a key to a contractor to enter our unit with no notice. Tenants across our hall were caught on video blowing smoke into the hallways and we reported it due to having a new born baby in our unit and they said call 911. I said thats not a 911 issue they told me to call police. They don't deal with anything they just want your money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Expérience fantastique: I had the greatest experience after my keys were stolen. Axon was so understand and made this a pleasant replacement of both my deadbolt and mail lock. Caring about my safety and the appearance of the quality of work they did and in a timely manner. Thank you Axon, now I can sleep feeling safe. Anyone with any concerns of their own don’t hesitate to call them. You’ll feel better at the end of the day having done so. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Expérience négative: I lived in a virginia street building for three years and had no issues with shoreline, the minute that axon took over everything went downhill- the state of the building was disgusting, pee in the hallways, filthy carpets, etc.. Axon shut off our water one day for 3 hours and gave a 5 minute email notice which is not legal, they entered our apartment without permission while we werent home to fix our walls and moved a bunch of furniture around and left a mess. Cherry on top of the cake my friend just moved into a virginia building and they entered his apartment and his bedroom without permission while his girlfriend was undressed. They entered my friends unit a second time, still no permission or heads up, and destroyed his expensive gaming computer with debris from the walls because they did not clean up/set down sheets to catch the fallout from the renovation. landscaping went down hill quickly, grass not cut properly, limbs of trees left on the grass for months, and they let the vines grow over all of the parking space signs. I have about 10 other examples of equally as terrible experiences with axon but I think you catch my drift. Such a downgrade from shoreline, I would not recommend to axon to anyone PERIOD.
Expérience fantastique: I have been a tenant with Axon for over a year now. They are always quick to respond to any maintenance request. Everything gets fixed promptly and properly. All the staff are extremely friendly and easy to work with as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable property management company!

For the showing, they know that I'm from Toronto, so they made it easier by showing a video of it, rather than coming all the way to Kingston. They really understand well, not only what they do, but us as well. The rooms they showcase are great. I would definitely advise someone to pick this property management.
Expérience fantastique: Jeremy at Axon is a helpful and responsive property manager who goes out of his way to help his tenants. In addition to being an excellent communicator regarding various repairs, and responding immediately to a gas leak he also collected several packages that were accidentally sent to the wrong address on short notice.

Expérience négative: Not sure what to say to be honest? Things need to be fixed here in Perth but nothing really gets done. Out of our 3 security lights, only one works and it’s a very dim yellow, front and back doors have 2 lights and in each door, a light is out. The doors themselves are supposed to be “security doors” but when everyone in Perth knows unit ** is hardwired to just open the door. Back door is broken, bricks are so loose you can slide them in and out. Doorframe isn’t even secured at the bottom. The recycling is under a new contact and won’t drive on private property so someone has to take the recycling bins to the curb, they don’t! Called last week to tell them, this week recycling wasn’t picked up and now is blowing all over the parking lot. This building used to look and feel great, now it’s just a “hood”! Broken down car in the parking lot for over 6 months, garbage everywhere, grass and snow are kind of done, snow is done by two tenants that don’t get paid and do it for all our safety, 90 year old woman and a single hardworking mom, this is whom clears the sidewalks for us. It’s truly sad that this building was good and clean, now because “not all tenants pay $1600 in rent” (most pay $1000 and under) Axon and associates of this building in Perth don’t care

Expérience positive: My son lived in 311 Queen Street and it was a great two bathroom four bedroom apartment close to grocery stores,restaurants and 10 minute walk to campus. Lived there happily for three years. Property managers always responded. When he moved out, Axon property manager set a time with him to leave keys and when we had to leave Kingston early, he was nice enough to meet us earlier.

The landscape is perfectly maintained and a pleasure to walk through every day . Well done to Axon . If I ever need their services at my home I would have no hesitation in using them
Expérience fantastique: Have been with Axon in the Colborne stretch and have been super happy with my experience. The landscaping crew stopped by recently and did an excellent job in a quick and timely manner. The lawn looks super nice!
Expérience négative: I spend only couple of days in Orillia at the end of each week so I waited three days to hear if I could see one of Axon's Rental properties. Not hearing from them I advised them to respond because I wouldn't be up for another week. In a fit of anger, they immediately turned down my rental application. I'm a six figure earning health professional in my 50s. Really.

Sam, although we were interested in a few locations that were rented quickly, was so accommodating and his efforts to find a space within our budget and had reliable parking was very admirable! Expérience négative: This company is a horrible property management company to deal with my kid rented an apartment in Kingston . The bathroom was full of black mould which they were told about never did anything about it. They were asked to fix a doorbell. They never fix nor do they respond to emails very disappointing. Thankfully my kid is moving out this week. I would never allow my kid to rent from this company again and there are other issues regarding notice of moving out. Just poor management over all
Expérience fantastique: Very friendly, fast, reliable, efficient, and do a great job. If you have any issue they come immediately to fix it and leave only when the issue is resolved. They are excellent!
