Expérience fantastique: Mark Broady: Trustworthy. Dedicated. Kind. My elderly parents decided to sell their home of 48 years and asked me to help. I live out of province so it was important to me to find an agent who not only would find a buyer for the property, but who could fill in with various on-the-ground tasks that go along with listing, selling, and closing the sale of a home. We interviewed three agents at the house. From the first meeting, Mark rose head and shoulders above the rest. He took a lot of time to study the property on his first visit, to explain his approach for marketing, to listen to my parents’ concerns, and answer our many questions. He provided the most carefully researched market study and his prediction re. selling price bore out. I was impressed by his seriousness of purpose and by how invested he was in the neighbourhood. I believed that he would be a compelling and convincing ambassador for the property. He was. Mark also has many contacts to assess and address issues that come along with any older property. (My parents’ house was over 100 years old.) All of the contractors he sent our way were courteous, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. His stager and painter made the property shine. He was in constant communication with me and my parents. He was patient, open, and responsive. An 11th hour weather event caused some unexpected damage. Mark handled the situation with calm, decisiveness, and leadership. The sale proceeded without major delay. Most of all, I want to highlight Mark’s kindness and generosity. I could not be present to accompany my parents to the notary and bank at closing. They struggled at times with electronic documents. Time and again, Mark stepped in to visit my parents in person, to drive them to appointments, to ensure that the closing process went smoothly. My parents felt reassured and like active agents in the sale of their beloved home. They and I will be forever grateful. Mark is excellent at his job and a person you can trust. As we were living in New York, it was challenging coordinating dates to visit houses. Jessica was extremely flexible with her schedule and ensured we saw the houses we were interested in whenever we were visiting. We never felt rushed or a bother when, after many views over many months, we we not seeing a house that suited us. Her up beat personality and motivation to succeed was clear and as such she sold the condo within a few weeks! Immediately after listing visits we're flying in and within weeks we had numerous prospects with the sale finalised less then a month later. Expérience positive: Excellent team, great guidance, particularly the recommendation to have a pre-sale inspection. Having just completed major renovations I thought it was unnecessary but in the end it proved to be the smartest decision and it saved me much $$$ and surprises. They were available, professional, courteous and I would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly call them for any real estate need! I give them 4 stars because I felt a little pressured to accept an offer which was lower than what I had anticipated. I refused 2 offers and finally got the price I wanted!!!
