Negative experience: Every owner is posting and saying they like these guys, well this is a condo situation and I have never had more problems. To not give to many details because this is a very vindictive company they have been nothing but trouble. From allowing contractors to damage vehicles, to not having any lawn care that we asked for. This winter has been the worst winter while living here, last year snow removal was amazing, and sure there was less snow, but not by much. They boarderline forced us to use a snow removal company, and they are they don’t know snow from sand. They clear the spots out into the parking lot. So now we got cleared spots, but 3ft of snow in the parking lot that most cars are getting stuck in. Plus both the snow removal and now the property manager budget is way over. And we got worse care then last year. On top of all of this, if you try to bring problems to the attention of Angie Peter’s you are meant with snide and rude comments followed by childish acts and games in forms of, emails bashing you, name calling, and very rude interactions, plus a very common tendency to try and make you feel like you have zero rights even though you own the property and pay them. I will never rent one of my properties through prime because of Angie Peters. She is beyond unprofessional, and has not only caused people over 50 to fall in our parking lot, but has caused damage to property and vehicles. I will not be suprised if we don’t find a new property management company in the spring time because of Angie’s conduct.
It took some digging to figure out who might be. It seems that you spend time a condo project where we are managing and I think I know which one. However, you clearly are not on the board. If you were a board member, then you would know that at this complex it is the BOARD who decides when snow is removed from the parking lot as THEY control that budget and the decision of when to plow, we do not have that authority. They are doing their best to be mindful of the expenses and balance that with making the parking lot serve the residents. You say the property manager budget is "way over", however we are paid a specific fee and that is on budget. The decision of which snow removal company to use is also not our decision so we do not "force" the condo to use anyone. We spend energy gathering quotes, submit those to the board and the Volunteer board of owners decides who to hire. No lawn care? same process is followed for quotes and the board determines who to use. Lawns were mowed last summer... If you do live in the complex, perhaps check with your Landlord and maybe they know someone on the Board to find out correct information. I am 100% certain that I have never had a personal conversation with you, even though you say in your review that we have spoken. Call our office, Identify yourself and I would be pleased to have a conversation, although I may not be able to share condo details if you are not an owner.
Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff
Negative experience: Angie is the absolute worst. She's pushy, rude and by far one of the worst people I've ever met. DO NOT RENT from this woman
Fantastic experience: Great property management. Always do the best to cover our requests . Helpful and responsible maintenance department as well . Nice to deal with so amazing people.
Thank you for your feedback Roman! Yes, we do have a wonderful team of people who try very hard to take care of all of you!
Negative experience: This place will cost you money and heartache. Ignores maintenance request for the entire time I lived there. (Multiple of them) I found them to be rude and condescending.
Negative experience: I found this company to be unprofessional, rude to tenants, and unhelpful. When choosing a place to rent I would take caution when considering this company.
Negative experience: Angie Peter's should be fired!! had the worst experience with her when renting. If I could do zero stars I would.
Negative experience: One of the people there set up a time to view a rental property, waited around 15 minutes or so past the meet time. So , I went to royal Lepages office since i drove 45 minutes to do this and the door was locked. After a minute or so someone came and unlocked it and says "we are open". Really?! Then they had no record or info about my appointementat at all, I had to show them my emails with Angie that didn't show up. So they scrambled and sent someone down there. But if that's how you get treated trying to look at a place, how are they going to treat you as a tenant?
Hello Jamin, Our apologies that you had a negative experience. I see that your reply to my offer to show at 11 am came right about 7:40 when we do a bit of a "shift change" from night replying to daytime and the entry got missed to put in the calendar. Our agent was at the property within a few minutes of your showing time to show another person so it is too bad that you missed him in the building entry. The front inside office door gets locked from time to time by someone going out and pushing in the button. Thankfully our Director of First Impressions sits within 2 meters of the door so that she can let people in within seconds. Of course that doesn't help much when you are already agitated when you arrive. She mentioned that you said that you might not go back the 5 blocks to the apartment building to view it after all. Our agent waited there for you but I expect the location was not right for you after all if you are coming from out of town. It is quite a "city centre" type location. All the best in finding a place that suits you. We will take your feedback into consideration when we adjust our "shift change" processes again to be sure no one falls between the cracks in this very busy time of so many people applying for places to rent.
Positive experience: I only rented from them for a month after my original landlord sold the building but I was incredibly not impressed. We had a five minute meeting with the realtor after they took possession for the 15th of the month, who said we'd get a welcome package in a week or so but it didn't show up until the last week of the month AFTER I called them it, and that was 4 days before rent was due. Then it took them 5 days to take the rent! When they stopped by to leave a notice of possible entry for showings they never even tried to knock (more than once I had been home all day), they just taped the notice on the door. I will say however that when I did speak with someone, they were always pleasant to talk to and vet helpful with questions, even after I had moved out.
Fantastic experience: I have dealt with them for over ten years. Great service. It gives me peace of mind knowing that their team is looking after my investment.
Negative experience: Be extremely cautious when renting from these guys, know your rights and their responsibilities. Your walk through inspection when you move in will last 5 minutes, your walk out will be a thorough 40minute to an hour long inspection, they will try to charge you for things they left behind and did not fix. The minute you question anything they have to say or have done they will FOG you and gaslight you. They will try to charge you for carpet cleaning and they will NOT properly clean the carpets (with powder and a machine that does not have power that looks like a floor polisher will be run over the carpets). Angie Peters will also create chaos by not giving proper notice for things like snow removal of the parking lot, FOBS, construction work, etc, entering your suite, then blame others for the issues that arise out of it, not to mention come pounding on your door (especially with the snow removal) and swear at you to remove your vehicle. She and her admin staff are extremely good at triangulating between condo boards, tenants and landlords. Angie will go behind your back to fish for information she has no business knowing or having, breaching privacy rules This company is extremely reactive and not proactive. If you want to be in an abusive relationship, rent from here.
Fantastic experience: We've really appreciated Angie & her team as they've managed our home the past 3 years. She's very knowledgeable, responds to questions quickly, and has kept our house tenanted and and in good repair through a busy market and then a slower one - even throughout the covid economic excitement.
Thank you for your kind words Leah. We are pleased to take care of your investment for you and find that balance between the tenant's needs & requests and your financial viability.
Fantastic experience: Angie and her team are amazing. They take the stress and hassle out of property ownership. Highly recommended!
Thanks Kristen! It is our pleasure to work for you and create an exceptional renting experience for you as a property owner. We are committed to creating passive income for you!
Positive experience: They're a great management group, we have been venting off them for almost a year now and so far no complaints. They do a great job when it comes to helping one find a place for rent. Best part they didn't charge an application fee either.
Negative experience: Watch out your just cattle to this lady she moves you in as fast as she moves you out was working night she gave me and 2 and half weeks to move out middle of winter with no explanation as to why the worst place to rent you may end up homeless at the end of your lease be careful you have been warned…
Fantastic experience: I had rented from this company for 3.5 years, there is something said about me staying that long with them. If there is any dispute that you might have they WILL listen. I feel the administrative staff Brooke, Mallory and Chelsea have great empathy and loyalty to tenants/clients and I would recommend renting from them to anyone.
Negative experience: they said we would be able to get the keys for our place at 10am but weren’t prepared. house was messy and needed cleaning. needed painting (all stuff they said would be fixed and ready for us to move in)
Thanks for the feedback on google Neil. We did anticipate the suite to be clean for 10 am so we were planning to give you keys early, even though your lease started at noon. I am not sure how you understood that the wall that needed to be painted would be done by move in as we never ever promise that to be complete when one tenant moves out on the 30th and you are planning to move in the next day. Painting a wall or two often happens in the first week of a new tenants occupancy. We did have a cleaning company do some cleaning and typically they do good work. I know we asked your girlfriend to send us photos of the work that was missed, as we would like to use those as feedback to the cleaning company. Hopefully she can get those to us. We do recognize that there is also some work to be done in one of the bedrooms and we are moving that forward as quickly as possible. The suite is certainly livable, although it is not quite perfect. If we had a vacant month each time between tenants to get the suite perfect for the next one, then all rents would be about 10% higher to cover that loss of income. As you know, price is key for people who are renting. We trust that you will be patient as we work with contractors to be the most cost effective as possible when doing the repair work from the damage of the previous tenant. As I am sure you realize as well, we are at the mercy of each tenant that when they move out, they do not leave a place damaged but indeed take good care of it. Please also know that you can call or email our office to give feedback in that manner any time. Our staff will keep in touch with you regarding access for getting the work done and anticipated timelines.
Fantastic experience: They are very effective, cooperative and responsive in their work. All payments were on time. Very good corporation to work with and have very friendly services..
Fantastic experience: I have had Angie Peters. As our property manager for several years. She is a great manager and has a great staff. Researches new tenants. Keeps good records. Pays promptly. Deals will all of your tenant issues. Will notify you and recommend work that needs to be done to your property.if you are looking for a place to rent...she will treat you fairly.
Fantastic experience: We have been renting through Royal LePage Property Management ever since moving to Alberta 2.5 years ago. Angie and her team work hard to make sure everything is handled in a professional and prompt manor. We relocated to a new residence last year and it went smooth with their guidance and even received my deposit back on the old place! Yesterday our dryer went on us yesterday. This was a Sunday morning. We are a family of 5 and so I was fairly stressed about it. By 10 am this morning (Monday) - Staff had a replacement installed in my basement. I am so thankful for their hard work and dedication to their tenants! THANK YOU ROYAL LEPAGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!
Fantastic experience: Renting through Angie @ Royal LePage has been a breeze. They've made my multiple moves easy and effortless. They've always addressed any issues I've had immediately and have been respectful in every way. I would recommend renting through this outfit!
Thank you Tyler. People like you who pay their rent on time, take care of the property and clean nicely on their move out are also easy to have as tenants!
Fantastic experience: As a landlord I am very pleased with the level of care and attention they pay to me and the tenant. Clear monthly statements, prompt replies and formal updates make me pretty happy to have chosen them to manage my property. Would 100% recommend!
Negative experience: Viewed a few places with the one girl, not happy with the service. Unprofessional & unknowledgeable about certain aspects, processes, rights & laws on renting. Many red flags, Hidden fees, many mistakes on forms/lease & was insisting we sign an incorrect lease without fixing anything. Also wouldn't confirm with owners if pets were allowed BEFORE the viewing, which led to wasting our time.
Negative experience: DO NOT go to Angie peters. I was manipulated and lied to about my lease renewal. She said to my face while holding my child she'd let me know when to come in to sign it but never did. THEN last minute gives me a 15 days notice to leave the home I've lived in for over a year on Halloween. Not only does is my child being abruptly being taken out of her home but she cannot enjoy Halloween or her first year of kindergarten. All because Angela lied to make more money. She Doesn't care who's lives she's wrecking as long as she gets an extra penny out of it. Never and I mean never trust someone like this she shouldn't be allowed to be an agent when she can't do her job properly. I regret giving them over a year of a my money. When I buy a house next year it definitely won't be with the company. Thank you for taking our home away from us for no reason other than your own personal gain.
Fantastic experience: I'm moving out at the end of the month after 1 year in my rental unit. As a first-time renter, I was so incredibly impressed with Royale Lepage and their ability to attract RESPECTFUL tenants. I live in an older building, in an area that has its fair share of problems - but man, not once have I had a problem with tennants in my building. Either I lucked out with everyone in my apartment, or the admin just knows how to pick the right tennants (I'm going with the last one). I would like to buy a house one day very soon, and i will most likely be dealing with Royale Lepage and Angie again! She was so quick to respond to any concerns i had, and they are upfront in regards to fees and expectations from both Tenement and Landlord. Great experience!
Fantastic experience: Angie and the team at Royal Lepage were great to me as a tenant while living in Grande Prairie and continue to be an excellent and fair company for my rental, for my thanks Royal Lepage Property managment!
Positive experience: I have both rented from Angie in the past and now have a property with her. She took care of me as atenant and was fair, and also takes care of me now as a landlord. She placed reliable and quality tenants and it is a huge relief. My tenants have now lived in the same spot for two years and according to Royal Le Page they are happy and quite content. I appreciate the promptness and the fair service and billing that their in house handy man provides.
Negative experience: Stay far away, Angie peters is as incompetent as they come. Hidden fees with this place, such as a $75 "lock out fee" for her to swing by 2 hours later on her way home from work. $84 in "cleaning" to wipe a counter. $75 to change a light bulb. DO NOT RENT HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Negative experience: Trash!
Fantastic experience: Excellent, very happy
Thanks for taking the time to write a review Kim. Enjoy your home!
Negative experience: Very rude person on the phone will never call them again This is not about rent this is about how she talks on the phone with people people like her should not working places like that she's not a social person
Hello Eduard, I know it is frustrating when the response is not what you are looking for. Unfortunately sometimes it is tough choice of who to rent a property to. All the best with finding a place.
Fantastic experience: Thank you for your dedicated, detailed, and timely service. You made my investment very easy to maintain. Angie Peters assisted me, through referral, in the sale of my property. Cheers Angie Peters!
Thanks Saeid! It was a pleasure working for you.
Negative experience: Very unorganized organization. They made it the HARDEST possible process for us to get our whole damage deposit back. They are very unresponsive, and hard to get a hold of. Our apartment was awesome, but the whole process from signing our lease to getting out of it was a pain in the butt.
Negative experience: Staff is extremely rude harrased with calls when I said I can’t talk at the moment, to be told I was approved and then was not to then it was to be called again that I was not approved. Realtor did not show up to appointment and then canceled 30 minutes before an appointment. And front desk has attitude
Thanks for your feedback Josh. I am sorry that you are disappointed not to be approved. We have many people applying for each place and we unfortunately cannot approve everyone.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic people to work with. Always on top of everything. Leasing from them has been a pleasure and highly recommend them. Awesome people!! Keep up the great work guys.
Negative experience: Zero stars , the worse company ever .They Never return phone calls and staff is extremely rude . Filled an application and never got a single phone call from them . I had to phone them every two days and ask for updates , every time i will get an answer that some one will phone me back but nobody ever did .
Hello Lovepreet, I looked at the history of your application process and see that when you wrote this post you had already viewed a place, so you must have been contacted back, other wise you would not have had an appointment to view a place. On the notes on your form, I see that you were also notified that you were going to be considered to rent the property that you viewed, along with the 4 people or families who wanted to rent there. There is also a note that you were called to be notified that unfortunately we selected someone else to be offered the place. For each home, we can only rent it to one of the many people who apply. I understand that you are disappointed about that as we do have to turn away about 90% of the people who apply. There simply are not enough places for people to live as we are in a very low vacancy position in our city. (0% in our company's portfolio for the last year). Normally, when people are turned away (often we have 2 or 3 people who could qualify and we have to make a choice) we keep people's applications on hand in case we have another place that will work for them. We are looking for tenants who are honest, patient, are likely to take great care of the property, have good work and who have good rental history. The people who own the properties and trust us to manage them are counting on us to select excellent quality tenants for them.
Positive experience: Excellent experience. I rented with Royal LePage for 18 months and they took very good care of us. They were flexible with my rent payments for my first month, and my last months rent, as move ins and move outs can be expensive. I always paid on time other than that. They listened to every concern from bad neighbors to maintenance repairs and they dealt with it all in a timely manner. I appreciated all they done for us and for making us feel safe and right at home. The only slight disadvantages are they make (inspection) visits pretty regularly, and they make book 2-3 weekly viewings from when you give your move out notice, until your unit is sold and they’re not flexible with leasing terms. Other than that, it’s definitely a 4 star experience. I would rent with them again if the right rental came along.
Thanks Tia, We really appreciate that you would let us know when a repair needed to be done so that we could tend to it quickly. Your patience if we had to wait for parts and such was helpful. We also appreciate greatly that you cleaned your suite very well upon your move out. Often the work load becomes overwhelming in the last couple of days and people just walk away. Your good planning made for a smooth move out process. We wish you all the best and would be pleased to help you with any housing needs in the future.
Negative experience: please consider having better approach especially if you are manager@ grande prairie, ALBERTA
Negative experience: Would not ever recommend this company for rentals they are nothing but scammers who falsified invoices/charges to there own company and charge you ridiculous amounts of money upon move out. RP is a horrible horrible company nothing but scammers go through your move in walk-through before signing with fine tooth and comb they will try to, we were moving from out of province and upon arrival to the property the leasing agent had already filled out the walk-through and we stupidly sided with what she had already had written down because she was in a hurry as it was the end of the day and we signed off and now we are being charged for damages that were previously already there that wasn’t dealt with before we had moved in and now royal pages trying to charge us for them. Not to mention after being there for three years and now trying to charge us over $2000 to paint the entire house , if anything I could see that only four walls need to be painted in the house where we had wall-mounted TVs, as well as additional $1400 in cleaning and light bulb changes I spent a whole day cleaning that house and washing walls there no way there was excess cleaning to be done more do light bulbs cost $160 !!! We are now producing legal action against RP as They have falsified their invoices which are linked to companies that they own that have no legal standing for the work that was done we weren’t even given a fair chance nor did they call us to talk about different options that were available as I had signed a disagreement form upon walk ou they have falsified their invoices which are linked two companies that they own that have no legal standing for the work that was done we weren’t even given a fair chance nor did they call us to talk about different options that were available as I had signed a disagreement form upon move out inspection! I also have multiple photos of the property upon my move out to state that the house was not in $3400 for the damages if anything there was maybe $1000 worth of damages that they told us would be fine when I was going through the walk it with the girl and that it would just be deducted from our DL not that they were going to charge us an extra $1400 on top of our $1975 DD ! If you’re considering renting I would highly recommend looking elsewhere I would rather give my last kidney need them ever rent from them again, Hard lesson learned but I guess we shall see them in court now for the final decisions because I will be fighting them to the bitter end!!!!
Fantastic experience: Very professional, quick to handle any issue that arose and everyone in the office was always so pleasant! I would very much recommend them to anyone in Grande Prairie that needs a rental unit. You can trust they will handle your family with care and respect. They always worked with us to get all repairs done, and after 7 years, they even got to the point my dog knew who they were. We always knew if something broke it would be repaired or replaced within a short time frame. Thanks again! if we had not moved out of province we would most likely still be renters with them.
Thanks Laurel. We were sad to see you go and wish you well in your new home. Thank you so much for taking care of the home and cleaning the property on your way out!
Negative experience: I don’t even give royal Le page one star! By far the worst management I’ve ever dealt with through renting with! Most ignorant staff.... messages being failed to go through and never get calls back when we needed something.... when it came to them needing something we’d get endless phone calls! Don’t waste your time with these people, rent through some who will actually care about you and your family!
Negative experience: If you choose to rent though them, when you first move in, go through the house like you're wearing a white glove, cause that's what they're going to do to you on move out. The place we moved into was still dirty in many ways and the walk-through was done nonchalantly; the move out was gone through like she was wearing a white glove, despite the fact that the place was WAY cleaner, than on move in; numerous times she put a '1' down then decided to change it. Then they (apparently) paid their cleaners $40/ hour to clean up the house for five more hours after we did. I highly doubt this; and I was told they take pictures before they clean & after, and when I asked for proof of this apparent cleaning done I was then told oh no we don't always take pictures. Hmm. Makes me wonder...Not to mention, because I was questioning the cleanliness of the place before we moved in, we were told BEFORE we moved in that not everyone cleans the same way! Oh, but they'll tell you you have 10 days to report everything. So word you the wise, if, for some strange reason you do decided to rent from them, report EVERYTHING, because you will get harshly evaluated on move-out. We had a water leak in the basement bathroom so we called them right away, and not once did they say we would be responsible for anyone coming in to clean it up or inspect what happened. I was trying to be in constant contact with them to keep up with what was going on and I was always left with little information. It wasn't until we moved out that we found they were charging us for all of it. And when we phoned to deal with it they never once took responsibility for their part in the matter. We were told they mailed out the receipts, and when told we didn't ever get anything and no one told us we would have to pay for it, no responsibility was taken and it was a "well that's what we do." The whole conversation was a joke. The only reason we didn't persue legal action was because we didn't want to keep wasting our time with them. We've rented from other property management companies before, and Royal LePage is by far the worst. We wouldn't recommend them to anyone, and nor would we ever choose to buy our home through them. Good riddance to them.
Negative experience: We rented for 3 years with royal lepage. As first and last time renters, the entire experience was negative. From the forgotten messages (it took months to fix the broken fridge because they forgot about us), to the rude customer service (they would act annoyed and be rude when I did call about things... Yet if I didn't call nothing got done. I got a lot of "oh, I haven't gotten to that yet. It's wasn't priority". Um... my fridge isn't working and all the food is going to spoil. Maybe make it priority. Or there are mice running around my house. How about you try harder to get to it. Yep, we also had mice and their solution was to put those wooden snap traps everywhere. With kids and pets this wasn't ideal, not to mention gross and inhumane. They also set a trap with poison and didn't tell us. Our dog then found the dead poisoned mouse and tried to play with it. She could have died. Our children could have found it!! Children under the age of 3 who would think twice about eating poison off the floor. Like what were they thinking Then there were the ridiculous fees taken from our damage deposit. We were charged $400 for carpet cleaning that they insist you leave for them to do as part of the lease agreement, and $75 to have the floor under the fridge wiped again. It had previously been done but when the fridge was moved back it left a bit more dirt.... that was a $75 charge! To wipe the floor under the fridge from the rollers. ALSO, we gave our notice 2 months in advance then were expected to have the house available for viewings LITERALLY EVERY DAY for 2 months. People coming and going with no real notice for 2 months straight. Just a note on the door saying "please be available for showings July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7......... between 9am and 530pm. Like seriously. How inconvenient for a family still living in the space! Could they not organize viewings better!!! I even asked for a text or something when they were headed over so I could be sure I wasn't in the shower or not wearing a bra. I got 2 texts in 2 months. Otherwise... just shwoing up in my livingroom. The girl showing the space even yelled at me for letting a viewer in. She was 30 min late for the appointment and someone knocked on our door so I thought it was the agent and let them in. She literally yelled at me for doing this. I'm a grown woman. Don't yell at me. Better yet, be on time for your job. Or text me when your going to be late so I can let the viewer know. Anything would have been better then being yelled at by a teenager for doing the job they were supposed to be doing in the first place. We paid a lot of money to rent, $1500 a month!! And were treated like low class citizens and talked down to by their staff. Each. And. Every. Time. Most specifically the head of maintenance and the girl showing the space. So rude. So rude in fact that we bought a house a year earlier then planned just to get away from renting with Royal Lepage. As a home owner I would be aware as well. They would send their maintenance man over to put bandaids on issues, charging the owners $75-$150 just for the visit. Then they would have to return when the issue inevitably returned and recharge the home owner... again and again.
Positive experience: Not overly impressed with the amount of time it takes to get things done been living in my house I'm renting now for 5 months and have had maintenance people in and out when we were told before we even moved in here that it would all be completed with in a month i get things happen and that things can get delayed but not for 4 months .. Not to mention the 3 bags of garbage I picked out of my yard from the previous tenants that was never cleaned before we moved in...there's been many days they were supposed to come and never did and there's never a phone call just another note slapped on the door stating they will be entering your house another date now..so now more time has to be taken off work or plans have to be cancelled or my child's routine is messed up again cause he's always woken up due to a hammer or a saw or what ever loud noise is being made ....Over all it's been a very disappointing first experience with Royal Lepage... the only good thing is that Angie and her staff are all very nice and easy to talk to
HI there, Thanks for your feedback. I do not know who you are, so maybe you could call our office so that we can talk about why there is a delay in completing the work? Perhaps there is a better way to arrange the times for our guys to get there or arrange for the appropriate contractor. Our office number is 780-532-3400
Negative experience: she chewed us our damage deposit when that place we moved in was a dump to beg8n with. walls were disgusting and cobwebs all over. I had to clean the walls when I moved in. and she has the nerve to charge me over 600 dollars when I cleaned half that place. don't rent from this woman she is evil.... I'm still collecting this coming week. don't rent fr9m her. they are not fair to the tenants
Thank you for your feedback Carrie. I am sure you are frustrated with having to pay someone to finish your cleaning. Considering when we met on the morning of the 31st to do your move out report, you had not started moving or cleaning, as you said you "got the days mixed up", you did a lot of work by the next morning. We did, of course, allow you more time to finish moving and start the cleaning but the next people to move in were counting on getting in on the 1st of the month at 2pm so the time was short. Thank you for keeping in touch regarding your progress that day and for letting me know shortly after 11pm that you were done. The move out inspection was then rescheduled to a third time for 8 am on the 1st. Yes, you had done about half the cleaning and we had cleaners in to finish the cleaning as the people moving in also wanted it ready for them. I am sorry that you do not think this is fair, we do have an obligation to have the place ready for the new family who are now enjoying your home. We appreciate that you and your friends did an amazing amount of work in just one day considering it is a big job to move a family and clean in just one day.
Negative experience: Women obsessed with self gratifying ego . Thinks nothing for the people she self controls with contracts and self made bills.
Negative experience: Great job Angie. Because of her great screening for tenants, we have a neighbour who smokes weed every single day. As a result, we always have to call in our children so that they don't breathe in the weed smoke. Thanks Angie for your incompetent screening!
Hi Dom,
Please contact our office so that we know which place you are referring to. We can make some effort to curb that or potentially move the tenant along. Unfortunately, we cannot do drug testing or any other method to be 100% certain that people do not smoke weed. It is unbelievable how many people do!
Pass us some info by calling the office 780-532-3400 or emailing at [email protected] and we will do what we can. At the very least, since it is super difficult to evict people for smoking weed (we have tried) we can choose not to renew their lease when it is up if we know which place you are referring to. I am sorry that they are giving you a negative experience and once we know more, we can work towards it becoming a positive experience for you, working under Alberta Laws.
Fantastic experience: A lifesaver! Hands down the best experience I've had as a renter.
Thanks Joe! We are glad that you are having a positive experience.
Negative experience: Everybody seems to be posting reviews as property owners. Here is one from a very unhappy renter. I have never been treated so rudely by a propert management company. The lady we talked to had such a negative attitude! She even criticized everybody from where I am from. Secondly and most importantly. Do not rent from them. The property we rented had so many issues that we had repairmen in the house almost every month we were there. My wife and I were diligent in reporting all issues, as well as in maintaining a clean and orderly home. When we left the place we left it in better condition than when we moved there. However upon their final inspection of the place it appears that the inspector was more meticulous than when they showed the house in the first place (we were not there for that as we took over the lease but the people we took over the lease from are very good friends of ours and has only occupied the house for 3 week's). Do not rent from these people. If you want to rent look for an individual or private owner. Grande Prairie's vacancy rates are so high right now that it seems like a cash grab how a company like this has taken from the security deposit that was made. I will give an example:. The charged a $30 labour fee to change a light bulb, and more. Don't rent from them.
Negative experience: Save yourself money and time don't rent off of royal lepage.
Fantastic experience: Angie Peters and her team are splendid. I cannot describe how diligent and professional in managing my property.
Fantastic experience: We have been most satisfied with the property management we have received from Angie and her team. Angie's professional approach in handling all the details relieves the stress of owning a rental property. In the process of finding a tenant updates kept us informed and we felt she considered the needs of the tenants to find the right fit for both of us. Without hesitation we recommend Angie and the Royal Lepage Property Management team!
Fantastic experience: Angie Peters and her team at Royal LePage are an awesome bunch who keep on top of everything for us. When there are ways to improve our area she is very good at her recommendations and her reasons why. We get monthly notes on exactly what's going on and what's needed. We get straight answers to our questions and they are always prompt in their responses!! Way to go team Angie!!!
Fantastic experience: Best decision ever having Royal LePage Property Management take care of our rentals. Knowledge and experience from Angie and her team are Number 1 . Thank-you Royal LePage Property Management for a great job.
Fantastic experience: Excellent property managers. They stay on top of keeping places maintained and rented.
Fantastic experience: RLP has been our property manager for a number of years and have taken great care us and our tenants.
Fantastic experience: Very professional, they do an excellent job taking care of the tenants and the properties. I highly recommend them for tenants or owners.
Fantastic experience: Great property managers. They manage 2 properties for us. No hassles from tenants for us it's wonderful.
Fantastic experience: I've found Royal LePage Property Management to be an experienced and very professional property manager. I started with one rental with a problem tenant that I did not have the time to deal with. Angie's team had unbelievable patience with a very unreasonable and verbally abusive man for several years. Their professionalism stayed true to the end when the renter finally skipped town. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I am certain that another Management Team would have handed the property back to me within a few short months of assuming management responsibility. They are also respond very quickly and courteously to any questions I may have, always willing to take the time to ensure that I am fully satisfied with their answer and their management. Maintenance is also prompt and well done -- no warranty calls. I started with one property several years ago, and have recently, very gladly given them a second property to manage. Mike
