Negative experience: This was the second time I sold a home using Jason Scott as a realtor because the first time he was fantastic but this second time, not at all. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with his service or there lack of. I felt like I was hindrance, a bother to him & putting him out. He didn’t care, didn’t take the time with me & act as my realtor. I felt very much “alone” in the sale of my house. When I ran into an issue his response to me was “ well that’s how it is now” Nice. Didn’t go to bat for me at all. Just didn’t care. And when he actually did pay attention it was “hurry up & sign” attitude. Get his commission & be done with me. So Unless you’re selling a million dollar house don’t bother using him. He don’t care about us peons. I guess the commission cheque isn’t worth his time. Sincerely, VERY DISAPPOINTED CLIENT

Fantastic experience: We had been looking for a bigger place for over a year with the intent to rent our old house instead of selling it. He was the only real estate agent we spoke to who encouraged us to do that instead of just selling it. He admitted openly that he would love to sell it for us because he would make more money that way but if we rented it out instead we would be calling him in a few years thanking him. We gave him a list of our needs and wants when we were looking at houses along with a few MLS numbers and then asked him to pick a few that we could look at. We looked at three houses on Saturday, two that we had picked out and one that he had picked out. We made an offer on the one that he picked the following morning, Sunday. The offer was finalized and accepted Sunday evening. The entire process of making an offer to signing the papers and everything as completely painless. He is the only real estate agent I would use myself or recommend to anyone looking for a home in Grande Prairie.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Jason was 5 star. He accommodated us on very short notice despite his full schedule. This was our bad as we had not thought ahead. He did exactly what he said he would and at exactly the time he said he would. He was friendly, down to earth and pleasant. At no time did he ever come across as high pressure or hurried. He gave us accurate and real information, explaining in detail how we could expect the whole process of selling our home to proceed. He ran us through his marketing strategy and made sure we were comfortable with the process as we would be conducting this transaction remotely. We were able to conduct all the paperwork easily through the electronic DocuSign system. We envisioned multiple trips back to Grande Prairie, so it was a nice surprise at how effortless he made it for us. He also explained with the use of multiple comparable examples how he came up with a listing price for our home. We had done some of our own independent market research through MLS and the number he presented was right where we realistically expected it to be which helped instil even greater confidence that we had chose the right realtor. He compiled an impressive photo and description listing that I’m sure helped to catch perspective buyers eyes. We did not have high expectations for a quick sale as our property was listed in mid January. To our surprise after only 2 days on the market we received a full list price offer which we accepted, and the job was done! This made the entire process so stress free and easy. He took care of everything. Great job Jason! We highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate.

Fantastic experience: I found Jason to be very professional. I found a place, looked at it and placed an offer and was accepted, but when I had an inspection(wasn't happy with results) and crunched the overall numbers it was just a bit too much to fix so I asked to back out, no prob, we looked at some more affordable homes and within 3 weeks of looking I moved into my new home. He has a wealth of experience and contacts, doesn't beat around the bush and and negotiated a very fair purchase price.

Negative experience: Do not rent a home from Sutton rentals unless you like donating your damage deposit. They didn't do a walk through at the beginning with me, which means I am supposed to get the entire deposit back, but I still took good care of the home for 3 years, always paid rent on time, cleaned it SPOTLESS, and then they gave me $300 of my $1500 deposit back, claiming things like "didn't pull out fridge" which is a complete flat out lie, as it's not my first rental, and I pulled out everything to be cleaned. And when I tried to push more they basically just said I can take them to court if I wanna take it further. Being a young 25 year old, single girl, obviously unaware of this process was left just being ripped off. GREAT RENTAL COMPANY IF YOU LIKE DONATING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO JASON SCOTT'S POCKETS.

Negative experience: Jason is great at delivering a speech about how hard he will work and how he will sell your house fast and how he is the best, but that's about all he does. His efforts are lacking and he is un-professional, discloses personal information, he is always on holidays, takes days to return calls, and doesn't truly care about selling your home because he thinks his name does it for him. wish people would stop using him and wasting their time. My friends warned me, I should have listened as soon as i relisted with another realtor my house sold and had triple the showings.

Fantastic experience: I had contacted Jason to get information on one of his listings, as I had just put our place on the market privately. We knew that chances of selling weren't great but we thought we couldn't afford real estate fees. Jason took it upon himself to come out and do a free evaluation, and found a way for us to list with him, and still have enough money to buy another house. We had no idea this was even possible ! He promised he would get it sold, and he did. I had my doubts and some stress from an offer that fell through, but he was persistent.
