Negative experience: I needed to share a story about Jared communication with my husband (who is also a realtor) My husband was sick and was resting. Jared called through twice and my husband answered, he asked him, what is this call about and Jared started lecturing my husband on how to greet people on the phone. Jared then proceeded to cancel the showing as punishment I supposed (which is really not fair to the client) My husband explained to Jared that he was sick, and he had woken him out of sleep but it didnt seem to matter. This left the both of us extremely enraged, I don't know who Jared thinks he is but this is his true dealings when clients aren't around.

A few deals fell through due to seller or seller-agent issues, but each time Jared regrouped, summarized what we learned, and kept us moving forward with clarity and commitment. His follow-through, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of the Toronto market made the entire process feel supported and transparent. He also shared resources and opportunities that genuinely enriched the experience of acquiring a property. He is always looking out for his clients' best interest so I highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for a home or investment property in Toronto.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed working with Jared on both the sale of our home and the purchase of a new one. He's a fantastic agent - easy to work with, and the right mix of keeping things both casual and super professional. Starting things off, Jared was really accommodating. He knocked on our door one day after selling a home down the street. I thought he seemed really sharp regarding the market and how to maximize value. A few months later, we wanted to explore. We weren't sure how serious we were, but he was so patient and still took a lot of time to chat with us regularly and show us homes in the two neighbourhoods we were eyeing. We eventually decided to get serious about a move in our current area. When selling, Jared was realistic of our home's value. Even with the market shifting due to economic concerns, Jared kept us abreast of how he thought we might be affected. He is really knowledgeable about the market, probably one of his best qualities. He is also really responsive and great at marketing. I truly felt like everything from his photographer to his social media was dialed in, and he would always follow up with other agents who viewed the home for feedback. He negotiated a price that really helped us in our move amid a precarious market. For our purchase, Jared was exceptional as well. He is very thorough when viewing a home in looking at everything, pointing out the pros and cons, as well as areas of concern that catch his eye. I really felt I would make a good investment with Jared's guidance. We don't plan on moving again for awhile, but I still feel like we negotiated a good deal on a great home. It's important to know you've made a smart financial decision. Lastly, it's clear to see Jared cares about his clients. He's patient and he really goes to bat for you. We never felt pressured, and he was always cognizant of our budget which I really appreciated. I'm writing this glowing review as a way to say THANKS for a great 6 months working together. I'd recommend Jared to my friends and family, and I don't think anyone reading would be disappointed with his help and guidance as well. Your agent matters a lot! Choose a good one.

Fantastic experience: Jared recently helped me purchase my first home and I can't say enough good things about working with him. From our first meeting it was very clear that Jared has extensive knowledge of the real estate market. He also took the time to listen to my needs and preferences and found a home that exceeded my expectations. His expertise and guidance was invaluable through the whole process, especially when it came to negotiating and understanding everything that is involved in the process of buying a home. I can't more highly recommend working with Jared, especially if you are a first time home buyer!

Negative experience: There isn't enough character allowance to write the details of this story, but I'll summarize the main points. My fiancé and I purchased a new property with Jared in June 2024. We worked with him for over a year at this point, and my fiancé knew him from years prior. Jared was also the listing agent for my fiancés property. He isn't any longer. From the first time I met Jared he was always rushing us through showings, as if we were on his time and dime, not ours. We constantly had to be flexible to his schedule and commitments, and it was difficult many times to communicate with him. During the purchase of our new property in June 2024, Jared did not represent our best interest. He didn't come see the property with us, which he should have done before putting an offer forward. He also encouraged us to put in a firm offer at $50k more than the listing price, to be "competitive". He did not negotiate ANYTHING on our behalf. We asked for a 90 day close, so we'd have time to prep and sell my fiancé's home, instead all he got us was 1 extra week, because the seller's agent said that's all the sellers can provide. Negotiating takes time, patience, and effort. Jared was at an event with low battery while drafting our offer. He should have told us to wait until the following day before we put an offer forward. He made us believe the house would be gone because another offer was being presented. We now know that's not the case. We could've saved $30K if Jared knew how to negotiate, and understood the market. Our original offer we wanted to put forward was conditional and much less than what we ended up offering. Jared was adamant they wouldn't even consider it because they had another offer. He made us believe the market was like 2022 where multiple offers and bidding wars were still happening. We found out from other agents after this experience, that this was absolutely NOT TRUE. Jared kept telling us we "stole" the house, because it was significantly undervalued, again NOT TRUE. Also, that shouldn't matter. Your agent should try to get you the best deal. Doesn't matter what the house may be worth or should be worth. The whole purchase transaction was rushed, unthoughtful, and ultimately cost us a lot of $$$. Looking back on the experience, Jared did not want to be bothered negotiating with the seller's agent, probably because he didn't know how. He told us that the seller agent was "crazy", "difficult to deal with", and "no agent wants to work with her". And she includes crazy stipulations in her scheduling contract. I was a first time buyer, my fiancé hasn't purchased a home in years, we listened to Jared thinking this was the norm, but in fact, he could have NEGOTIATED things on our behalf, not just accept whatever the seller's agent includes. Jared knew we needed to sell my fiancés home to lessen our financial burden. But instead, he encouraged him to renovate and waste time. By the time we put his home on the market it was a month later. The market was completely cooled off by then. There is so much more I can write, but my main message is agents are like lawyers. The repercussions on your financial situation can be completely disastrous. We were almost afraid we wouldn't have been able to close on the property because we didn't sell my fiancés home. We now have two properties and over $1M mortgage. All because the agent we trusted (Jared) gave us bad advice, misguided us, and did not have our best interest at heart, and ultimately acted unethically in the process. I could have negotiated a better deal without Jared. And had way less stress. Going into a new home should be exciting. Jared's lack of expertise and knowledge almost caused us to breach our contract. We're experiencing financial burden, and shouldn't be. All because we hired an agent who talks a big game but has nothing to back it up. I'm sure he won't take any accountability after reading this review. Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: Just signed the purchase agreement on my first home and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jared. He was heavily involved in all aspects of the buying process, even down to the home inspection. I always felt that I was in good hands and he was persistent, even when my wife and I began to doubt that we would find a suitable home within our price range. Ultimately, he was able to secure us a home that checked all of our prerequisites much faster than we could ever have anticipated. I would not hesitate to work with him again or to recommend him to friends and family in need of his services.

Fantastic experience: My favorite things about working with Jared: 1) He is a negotiator: he does not care about social awkwardness with others (i.e other agents) if it means he is representing the best interest of his clients. 2) He is transparent: he walked us through everything; risk, benefits, observations, anything that as a buyer or seller would be good to know about, he will make it known to you. i.e pros/cons of the conditions you are considering when putting in an offer and their impact to the ability to close 3) He uses the right communication medium at the right time: He knows what type of info and updates can be shared through instant messaging, what needs to be emailed, and what information should be discussed over the phone. 4) Knowledgeable but not forceful: Jared has opinions about certain neighborhoods and isn’t afraid to share them with his clients. With that said, he will never shun a client’s opinion and will put himself in his client shoes. ________________________________________________________________________ In 2019, my partner and I, both in late 20s, started looking to buy a home (after a string of issues with leases, we were fed up and wanted to just call something our own). We were both first-time home buyers and were looking to make an investment into a more permanent home. Jared was with us every step of the way. The first time we got on the phone with him, we were on the phone for over an hour as he explained the process and all the things we ‘needed to know’. He connected us to a great lawyer and mortgage broker too. This year (2021) my partner and I are moving to Calgary (work-based relocation) and we asked Jared to sell the home. The process was SO EASY with Jared. He took care of everything: told us what we needed to do to get the home ready and staged, did his research on strategy and discussed with us, made sure all the paperwork was pushed through, and of course, negotiated to get us the best deal ever! If you want a realtor who is very professional, understanding, and hustles HARD for his clients, he's definitely your guy.

Fantastic experience: Jared was extremely helpful in helping us find our first home. He was very thorough and made sure we saw multiple different listings to get a feel for what we actually wanted and liked. In the end he was instrumental in helping us find our perfect first home, which is even more remarkable considering the state of the housing market in southern Ontario. Fantastic experience: Jared was an immense help during the purchase of my new home. As a first time home buyer I had no idea what to expect or how the process worked at all. Jared was in constant contact with me throughout the process and was completely open and honest about his opinions of places we went to see. When we finally found a place I loved he continued to stay in touch and check in to make sure that everything was going well up to and including the closing, the move and even beyond that! I have to say, again as a first time home buyer, I did not expect this level of service but it was most definitely, greatly appreciated! Fantastic experience: If you are looking for someone to work their tail off for you - Jared is your guy. My wife and I were first time home buyers and leaned heavily on Jared throughout the buying process. His industry knowledge, high energy and strong work ethic made the entire process smooth and efficient for us. No matter what time of day, Jared would respond to our phone calls (and text us when he couldn't speak over the phone i.e. putting his kids to bed!). He is one of the hardest workers I know and always came through with excellent, timely recommendations. Most of all, Jared always made us feel like helping us was his highest priority. It turns out that Jared has a solid knowledge of home construction, noticing (in very few cases) where the builder/homeowner had taken shortcuts that left the potential for problems down the road. He was also a huge help in getting our financing, insurance and home inspection in time for a quick close, and wasn't a stranger after we had moved in.
