Negative experience: I recall using James Wright when I tried to sell my home in Manotick 15 years ago. He was the biggest realtor in the area, so I chose him. After a month without any sort of communication I let him know I was letting him go cause he wasn't doing anything I had asked of him. I gave him another chance after speaking with him, and nothing changed Communication didn't improve. He just wasn't hungry. Nothing I asked for was really difficult - keep me apprised of how many people saw my place, comments, thoughts, do an open house here and there. I was in the US and not local so I needed an email once in a while or a phone call. So when the contract ended, again, thankfully, I went with another firm and my house was sold in 3 days. Sometimes bigger is not better. It seems to me they just work in the one area and buy and sell homes there, but don't put forth much of an effort. Maybe the rest of his team are more customer focused.
