Darcy was recommended by a friend of my daughters, I met him shortly after my father passed away. He was excellent. Patient, helpful, and listened to me when I felt the process was moving too fast. He provided an initial staging report as part of his service. Although I was initially a little resistant to the idea, I found it was extremely helpful. My parents had owned their home for 36 years, it was very hard to imagine it's potential, when I was trying to manage my grief. The stager was excellent, I initially took her advice on paint colours, and slowly branched out to replacing a few light fixtures. In the end, I was so pleased with the results, I decided to spend the extra money to stage the home using a mix of my fathers furniture and her accessories. Darcy was available to me for questions every step of the way. When it came time to put it up for sale, I was initially a little unhappy with the proposed price, the market had dropped. After I went online, and saw what houses were going for in the area, I realised he was right. Ultimately I decided to trust Darcy's expertise in the area, and not let sentiment cloud my judgement. As part of his service Darcy provided professional photographers, and a video to showcase the home. The pictures and video were amazing.The house sold in 26hours, after 10 showings and 6 offers. Darcy handled everything, and ended up receiving an offer, substantially over the asking price. I would recommend this realtor to anyone selling a home. He answered every one of my questions, and got back to me immediately if I had any concerns. When he is your realtor, he will get you the best possible deal. He made me aware, that it was ultimately my choice, what we listed it for, but respected my concerns and gave me time to sort through my parents life. I cannot reccommend him highly enough.
