Approximately 10 days after our deal became firm, we were informed that the property was stigmatized, forcing us to withdraw from the purchase. This resulted in significant time loss, financial loss, and unnecessary emotional stress, despite no fault on our part. To make matters worse, there were repeated delays and a lack of communication regarding the mutual release, requiring constant follow-ups from our agent with no response on his end. Overall, the lack of transparency, communication, and professionalism made this an extremely frustrating experience.

What is most concerning is that after a mutual release, the liens were still not cleared and the very next day the same property was relisted across platforms. Based on what I personally witnessed, this was a very troubling experience and raises serious concerns about transparency and professional conduct.

To clarify, the issue was not about who was legally responsible for the liens, but about late disclosure, repeated verbal extensions without proper written execution, and the fact that the property was relisted immediately after the transaction failed, despite the seller’s inability to close. These issues caused significant financial and logistical hardship for buyers who were fully prepared to close. This review reflects a genuine experience observed firsthand and the outcome of that transaction.

Despite this, the deal collapsed because the seller was unable to deliver clear title due to unresolved liens. What is most disappointing is the lack of transparency and accountability from the listing agent throughout the process. We were repeatedly given extensions with no real progress, while critical issues that should have been resolved before listing the property were ignored. In the end, we were forced into a mutual release just to recover our own deposit , with zero compensation for the financial, emotional, and time losses we suffered. Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of a person’s life. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise buyers to proceed with extreme caution when dealing with this agent and to independently verify everything, do not rely on representations made. This was a stressful, exhausting, and deeply disappointing experience that could have been avoided with basic professionalism and honesty. May god make you suffer the same !!!

My family and I recently purchased a property from someone who sold their house with him, only to find out that it was under power of sale which severely affected closing and none of the property taxes had been paid for years—all of which has costed me thousands. Not to mention, he is constantly “in meetings” and is therefore impossible to reach. Upon successfully speaking with Mr. Kalra (after weeks of reaching out during a time sensitive period), we were notified that he was supposedly completely unaware of these vital property details and was of no help, despite being the realtor who listed and sold the property. All in all, be very careful when purchasing from this agent, as in my case, no research or due diligence was evident on his part as a realtor.
