With a market that is less than ideal for selling right now, we were concerned about the ability to sell our townhouse for a price we’d be happy with. Factor in heavy development around the area, it wasn’t looking like it’d be possible. After attempting to list our townhouse last year without a single offer, Scott did a great job presenting the facts, honest opinions, what we can expect in his teams support, and strategy. After being listed for only 24 hours, we had an accepted offer we were very happy with! On the buying side, Scott was super knowledgeable about the area. Expérience fantastique: After not having the best experience with the first realtor I listed with, when I went looking for a replacement, I decided I'd first meet with a number of different realtors before selecting one. I chose six and asked each the same questions. Virtually all of them answered in exactly the same way - either focusing completely on themselves and their own accolades or quoting figures and stats that I could easily determine on my own. Scott was the ONLY candidate that could talk to me about MY home, and MY neighbourhood. He knew the qualities and characteristics that made one neighbourhood in Langley distinct from the other - the human qualities - and why one neighbourhood or even a street may be more appealing to one type of buyer than another. My home was not without its challenges and Scott was the ONLY realtor that came forward with marketing ideas to help position the home to potential buyers so they could 'imagine the possibilities'. Literally every other realtor's response to marketing was simply to price lower than absolutely anything else available. Yet when I asked Scott how my home compared with other lower priced homes, he could list off the deficiencies of the other properties and the reasons why they were priced the way they were. Unlike any of the other realtors, Scott not only knew all the neighbourhoods like the back of his hand, but he knew the houses themselves - he's walked through them and he pays attention to each of their unique characteristics.
