There were definitely a few stressful moments throughout the process, but they were right there with us the whole way - steady, supportive, and always with a smile. Having zero experience, we were nervous and we had many questions. Fantastic experience: The first time I met Kristy Masaro was when I purchased my condo in 2016.  At that time she was very efficient and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on.  She was also super helpful to get through a bumpy process with the seller in that particular real estate deal. When I decided to sell my condo in September of 2022 Kristy was the first one I called.  We discussed what was going on in the market and what I could expect.  Interest rates were increasing and impacting the market.  Everything was changing quickly and she provided valuable information for me to make a decision.  She also gave me ideas about what I could do to make my home more enticing to potential buyers.  I contacted Kristy at the end of November and we had a frank discussion, with higher interest rates and changes to rental laws and age restrictions there was really no data to determine what the market was going to do.  I determined it was better to wait a while and as soon as she saw positive signs she contacted me and we moved forward.  She didn’t push me to sell at any cost, she was making sure I had the information to do what was best for me. Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue, Kristy Masaro and Shelagh Machek are continuous topics of conversation in our house.  Our first time to this province, Kristy made the buying process incredibly seamless, easy to understand, and fun.  To say Kristy and Shelagh were on the ball is an understatement, they are at a minimum 2 steps ahead of everyone at all times. Fantastic experience: We have never experienced such dedication and passion from any other realtor! We were purchasing from out of province- but due to covid, we were unable to fly down to do viewings of the properties in metro Vancouver. That didn’t stop Kristy and Shelagh from making this entire experience the best possible. They made weekly meetings- working amongst three time zones to organize said meetings (as my fiancé and I were living in separate provinces at the time), to really prepare us for what was in store with the housing market in BC. They went into deep detail with multiple organized checklists, to ensure they found everything we were looking for and because we were new to the area, showed us all the best areas and gave us insight on what to expect from each neighbourhood if we chose to move there. Already the effort they put into us was 10 fold what we have ever experienced with any other realtors. Once we were finally ready to start hunting for our new home, they went above and beyond to ensure we got the absolute best views of each property we were interested in- via filmed videos. Kristy and Shelagh were extremely informative and knowledgeable; showing every part of the house- with their hilarious commentary on the side. It was truly a remarkable and entertaining experience- it genuinely felt like we were there with them! We ended up getting our first choice right off the bat after a gruelling bidding war- all thanks to Kristy’s amazing negotiating skills! We can confidently say, if it wasn't for her skills, we probably wouldn't have landed our dream home. Yet there amazing work didn’t stop there! They sent us to do lists on what to prepare before the move, they did weekly check ins to make sure everything was going okay with our move across country, they even remembered little personal details about us and checked in on us when those dates occurred. Truly the most passionate and genuinely caring realtors out there! After this experience, we cannot imagine using any other realtor. If you’re on the fence or considering between a few realtors, you will not be disappointed with choosing Kristy! The best in metro Vancouver hands down! We will be recommending her to all of our friends and definitely using her services once we move next!

Fantastic experience: So far we have purchased two places with Kristy and Shelagh and sold one, and I am 100% sure that we are not going to look for another agent the next time either. We are definitely not the easiest people to deal with, and probably asking way too many questions, but these two girls were always there for us to answer or just when we needed some emotional support. Either one of them always replies to our messages within minutes, which makes us feel like we are the only and most important clients even though I know that we are definitely not the biggest fish in their fish tank.

Fantastic experience: I literally could not be happier with Kristy. I first reached out to Kristy in the Spring to ask questions about a condo that was on the market. She quickly looked into the property and answered all of my questions. Since then, she has walked my boyfriend and I through every little detail of buying a condo. As a first time buyer, I really didn't know anything and was overwhelmed with the whole process however she made this extremely easy for us. She recommended that I get pre-approved to start. When I was finally ready to actually start condo shopping at the end of the Summer, Kristy and her assistant Shelagh were fantastic. They responded to questions extremely quickly and have supported us during the entire process. During viewings she was quick to point out any issues with the places. She made sure we checked out the parking and the storage room to make sure everything looked good. I felt like Kristy genuinely was looking out for our best interest. When we decided to make an offer, Kristy walked us through everything and our first offer was accepted! She step by step helped us remove our subjects. She attended our home inspection and brought up some things from the strata documents that she had read through. During the entire process she has given us great recommendations for our mortgage broker, home inspector, and a few different lawyers. One of my favorite emails from her is one with links for things like setting up Hydro, Fortis and mail forwarding.
