Negative experience: I have never worked with a real estate agency as unprofessional as this one. Hugens is a horribe broker.On two separate weekends, I had been informed of a viewings and an open house for a rental property, and both events were complete no-shows. There was zero communication regarding cancellations, and no one from the agency was present as promised. I have been nothing but courteous and flexible throughout this process, yet the lack of respect for my time and effort has been unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with this agency. ***Edit*** I’m not upset that the condo was sold — we actually came to an agreement pretty quickly. What’s frustrating is the complete lack of professionalism and respect. Their recent comment only confirms that they support poor real-estate practices and agents with bad behavior. Apparently, being “a challenge to make happy” means asking for basic courtesy — like scheduling viewings between 5:30pm–9 p.m. on weekdays or on weekends, because I work full-time and can’t just be available at their whim (like 10 a.m. on a Friday or noon on a Tuesday). Fun fact: I never requested that the agent arrive 20 minutes before viewings — that’s a flat-out lie. I have all the text messages to prove it and even showed them to their “Director of Operations,” who apologized, admitted it was wrong, and begged me to take my review down. I guess that apology didn’t mean much either. Honesty and accountability are clearly hard to find here. Don’t waste your time on a company that gaslights tenants and excuses unprofessional behavior.

She supported the rental of my condo from start to finish - I had full confidence during the entire process and she alleviated so much stress. She was always available and kept in touch for every milestone. Seamless, professional & efficient. I highly recommend and will continue working with Donna in the future.

As a first-time buyer, I really appreciated the agent, Hugens Deshauters' excellent communication, understanding, and patience throughout the entire process. He was knowledgeable and provided clear guidance at every step, which made things much easier for me. The team was also very supportive, connecting me with reliable professionals such as a mortgage broker, insurance broker, and notary, which helped everything go smoothly. Service impersonel, manque de diligence et professionalisme, termes et conditions qui changent pour moins de travail mais les frais de gestion eux restent les memes!....Je ne recommende vraiment pas pour les proprios non-residents! Leur domaine d'expertise semble etre plus la vente/achat que la la gestion locative...et c'est bien correct! =================================================== 5 years with these guys and the service has deteriorate so much! It is disheartening. Charging same management fee for materially less duties, poor administration, impersonal service delivery, lack of diligence, poor relationship management with tenant etc.....definitely no longer recommended, especially NOT for non-residents.
