Expérience fantastique: We reached out to Arms Bumanlag & Associates when it was finally time to sell our house of 21 years when a friend referred him. He was patient with our time line, knowledgeable and marketed the heck out of our house when we were ready. When the showings and interest slowed down, he explained the benefit of remarketing at a lower price point particularly in our turbulent economy, and in our area where there were many comparables. He’s honest with what’s going on in the market and knows what works if you trust him. It worked and we sold above the new asking price with a number of offers. As we faced the real estate world as buyers, we had a pretty specific list of wants and needs that we doubted we would find in a home, particularly after visiting a number of houses that fell short. But Arms had hidden in his short, graphic sleeves our perfect house. :) If he wasn’t our agent, we would have never found this house because his client had temporarily taken it off the market. To be honest, we were doubtful that having Arms represent both seller and buyer would work in our favour but ultimately he was in fact the best mediator for this particular situation. Kudos also to his Client Care Coordinator, Vanessa, and his partner realtor Debbie Nedin. Vanessa was always quick to respond to inquiries and set up appointments and even though we never saw her, I’m positive she had a smile on her face the whole time. Debbie hosted an open house and walked us through a home inspection and in both cases she was very pleasant, positive and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Arms Bumanlag and Associates!

After 21 years in your home and raising your family there, I knew this wasn’t just another real estate transaction. There were a lot of memories attached to that house and some big decisions to make about what came next. Seeing that ultimately lead to multiple offers and a sale above our new asking price was pretty special.

Expérience fantastique: Arms Bumanlag single-handedly restored my belief in realtors. I am not the one to sugarcoat what most have seen happen in the housing industry and many people jumping onto realtor bandwagon when times were great. Houses selling in a day, multiple offers well over asking, questionable practices to drive up prices that didn’t really help buyers or sellers. We chose to NOT sell our home in that market because we didn’t want to partake in bidding wars with desperate buyers during our purchase of new home. We were very hesitant to even use a realtor in the process of selling our home and buying our new home. On the advice of my wife, we decided to cold-call Arms who recently sold a home down the street from us. He agreed to meet with us at our home and discuss how he would approach process of selling our home and buying our next home. Arms was a breath of fresh air from the moment we met. Well-spoken professional who radiates positive energy. After speaking with, I immediately felt that he is very honest and trustworthy, and he outlined how he would market our home. He didn’t promise us huge returns, explained market trends and how to best position our home in the very quickly changing market. He gave us great advice on how to best position ourselves for the purchase of our new home and the leverage of selling our home at the right price. Arms and his team put together an amazing advertising campaign highlighting our home. They did not just simply toss our home on MLS and waited for calls. The effort he puts in makes him stand head and shoulders above the realtors in our area. The exposure he provides and the amount of time and energy he puts into TARGETED advertising of your home is unmatched. Our home hit MLS on Friday, and in a very soft market where price of homes are on the ride down, he sold our home in just 5 days for well over asking. But that is only half the story. Now that we sold our home, we were on a hunt for our next home. Arms shifted gears and got into search mode. He carefully listened to us and understood what we wanted. We would send him homes we would like to see and Arms would never question why we want to see the home, or that we want to see 4-5homes back to back. He would call realtors and schedule everything at times that were convenient for us. Want to see the home 2nd or 3rd time, Arms will never say no. Once we circled the drain, and had few potential homes, Arms carefully strategized with us on what the home is worth, how to best approach the seller. Most importantly, Arms main goal is to protect his clients best interests no matter what. He did not push us one moment in any direction. At no point did we feel Arms was motivated with biggest profit, but rather that we buy the best home that is the most financially sound for us. When the negotiations were tough, he stood strong with us as if he was purchasing a home for his own family. He will never give you a wrong answer, and if he isn’t sure about something, he doesn’t hide the fact that he draws on experience of his business partner Ron, and that speaks volumes about what kind of person he is. At the end, we were able to secure a great deal on a beautiful home and I don’t believe for a second that we would have been able to secure this home without Arms Bumanlag at our side. He is a wonderful person, a loving husband and a father who somehow manages to carve out, what seems like, unlimited time for his clients He has most definitely earned our gratitude, respect, our business and a friendship for life. Expérience fantastique: When it came time to sell our very first house and look for a better home for our growing family, we knew we needed the best of the best in this crazy market. We were aware of Arms from his media career, but what really sold us is how highly my grandma always talks about him ever since she met him a few years ago, and if grandma trusts him, you know he’s a good guy. We called Arms and in less than 48 hours he was at our house with a plan. We were very nervous about selling and scared we would not find something in time in our budget, but he reassured us that he would be able to find us our dream home. A week later, our house was listed and it sold within 48 hours for over asking - way faster than we could’ve imagined. This was good news, but also slightly terrifying as we now had only 6 weeks to find a new house. Arms worked around our schedule to show us as many houses as possible within a few days. Our first few offers were rejected as the market is still tough for buyers, but he assured us he’d have us in a great house before our closing date. Expérience fantastique: Arms did everything that he said he would do when selling my mother's home. He sold it fast, but got an extremely good price for us and everything turned out exactly as he said it would. He had a plan for accepting offers by a certain date and it all worked out extremely well. I was also pleased with his efforts in advertising the home. Videos were made and I believe that all of his efforts in that regard and the very personable way that he has in front of the camera, definitely helped sell the home. Also, he was extremely caring when it came to dealing with my mother who is 96 years old.
