Expérience fantastique: I have been searching for a property management company to work with to help me with my rental unit. I reached out to several companies in the Barrie area. AG Secure replied first, and did so within the same day. My subsequent discussions with Rob at AG Secure have been informative and positive. Their pricing structure is reasonable, and I think they will meet my needs well. I am pleased to have chosen AG Secure as my property management company. I encourage you to give them a call if you need a property management company also.

Expérience négative: I have been trying for a appartment for a over a month now. Anytime I try to call them no body picks and let say if somebody picks the call. And you tell about the property they just transfer your call and no body picks the call on that number and goes straight to the voicemail. And when I went to there office they just told me they can’t help me. I have to do everything online

Expérience négative: I repeatedly hear what sounds like an animal (possibly a squirrel) in my apartment and reported this to management. I was told no action would be taken without evidence, despite the ongoing noise and my concerns as a tenant with an infant. I was also repeatedly informed that I could be charged for maintenance requests, which made me hesitant to continue reporting issues. In my experience, concerns were only addressed after I referenced my tenant rights. Snow removal during my tenancy has been inconsistent, and my lease included a clause stating tenants were responsible for snow removal, which I later learned is not enforceable under Ontario tenancy law. I also raised concerns about mold in the unit. During an in-person meeting, I felt I was repeatedly interrupted when trying to discuss the issue. When I asked for the property manager’s contact information, my request was refused and not followed up on. Based on my experience, I would not recommend renting here. I remain only because of the current housing shortage and because relocating with my husband and 8-month-old child is not currently feasible. Reply to AG: Thank you for the response. My review reflects my personal experience as a tenant. During an in-person visit to the unit, both Stephanie and the property manager attended, and one referred to the other as their spouse. I may be mistaken as to which individual made the reference, but that was my understanding at the time. I’ve raised my concerns directly with the office previously, and I hope the issues mentioned can be resolved moving forward.

Expérience négative: As a neighboring property owner to the properties they manage they have fallen short in communicating. They cut down trees that did not belong to the properties they managed and have not returned any calls regarding the issue. I wonder how they deal with tenants' issues?

Expérience négative: I applied for an apartment. I never even spoke to the landlord, and the property manager or someone was contacting me and asking very personal questions. I didn’t even get to see the apartment first, and they asked for my social security number online, which is actually not allowed in rental applications. They then contacted even my family, and as I said I hadn’t even gotten to view the apartment. Really ridiculous to be honest. all for a mediocre extremely tiny studio apartment. Guess you have to be making 6 figures now to even be approved for a $1000 studio. Ridiculous.

Expérience fantastique: I have been here 9 years and I've had number of workers come in and do some work, there's been few workers that are standing out with a job well done well Educated and respectful and sharing on knolage, I've had some work done on Electrical outlets and light fixtures, Aaron was the worker that did light fixtures he did a excellent job friendly respectful person. Acacio did the plugs and made sure the job was well connected correctly by even testing the plugs with a vaccum plugged in to make sure plug didn't blow out breaker,he also ran into a issue but didn't give up he called his resource and got some gidends and the job stayed optimio hasn't had a issue any more. Respectful kind sharing friendly. Chris has done some work on reestablished my broken door he did his best at a cost I could afford respectful kind friendly sharing knolage, door seems to be good other than no weather stripping added. I think name was Larry he had did some services too help place a hole new door and fram locks in from when occurring insinted, he came at late hour and fixed it all, the respect and kindness of that late evening was sure appreciated. There was some other person that did the breaker box fixed it all up now there's no more breakers blowing he said they wear in bad condition and explained the causes of the plugs blowing the breakers. He was kind respectful honest. I can say that it's very appreciated the schooling education they have making safe home living . I still question the Furnac filters the number of them being changed, this previous fire checking they placed in new fieralarms and I didn't see any old filters come out for garbage disposal and they left with the same 2 new ones they had brought in. there was also a person that came in to remove the old electric heater and he was respectful and honest explaned about a fier hazard as well. I recived a letter at some point years ago and was asked to clean out the basment so I was doing and did to my best I took down all the boxes that was nailed to the roof and I sweeped the floor up and cleaned out toys and tried to get everything out , this is all unknown to me who it belonged to as im locked out of the basement concently except for the time Rob Hiltion himself let me in it. I have Mentioned to the workers that do the fieralarms about under the house as a issue with people have been underneath the livingroom floor they have been pulling apart heating ducks and there's been foul smells of urien and pooh and smells of mold and there's also smells of smoke and Chemicals blowing in vents. I also mentioned the issue im having with break in enters alot and I've been finding holes in my bedroom floor and in the walls in the home some of the holes seem like cramras. Someone has also been trying to get in the window that faces nahwash street there's a small knife cut in the screen. There's been respectful time and maner about replacing old fridge and stoves with replacement of brakes ones and delivered at manerly time as possible . There's been many pest control inspections and sprays and gels to control the issue and always in manner respectful kindness with understanding. there's a team of workers that cut the lawn and they do not always used the weed water to do the patio trim area and sides of house. The landlord is grate for supplying yard wast bags for me to clean the yard in the fall. Also had a dump removal at one point and it was respectful. Thanks for the time you spent helping me.

Expérience fantastique: Everything about Orillia AG secure has been great for our last (almost) 7 years. They've taken care of all our needs unless the homeowner denied it. Then team is fantastic. Lois has taken care of everything as proper as she can. Any poor reviews from lack of help are more than likely due to a home owner not wanting to spend money on the upkeep, which is out of their hands.

Expérience négative: Absolutely do not recommend renting from them. They are so slow to get back to inquiries, I had to call them myself and the application process is such a mess. I previously applied for a place and they did a hard credit check without informing me and never got back to me. I emailed them to inquire and they ignored me. They are so unorganized and inconsiderate. Ive applied to rent 3 different properties from them over the years and keep being reminded why to avoid them. They sent me the wrong application 3 times then called all my references before I was even able to see the place. Only to deny my application with no explination and via email with a completely different address listed than any of the places I had applied for. Their excuse for all the confusion was they talk to so many ppl every day. Ive worked in property management and there is really no excuse. They have a pretty bad google rating as well. Proceed with caution.

Expérience négative: Horrible experience. It’s been well over a month now that our window has been constantly leaking. They don’t care, it’s. Not an urgent matter to them… they don’t take into consideration of others or their tenants. Our roof has animals living in it, our roof has no insulation due to said animals. We’ve put in multiple reports you guys have acknowledged this and responded once at the beginning of February. but it’s been over a month and you’ve done nothing, said nothing, haven’t even bothered to come see your damn unit….. you said you’d get someone to clear snow off the roof and someone to come inspect the window February 8th, we are getting to march now guys… You’re as property management company you should have maintenance crews/companies at the ready… It’s gotten to the point the ceiling is starting to fall into our room, we’ve evacuated that room and tarpped it off. It’s starting to get growth and that means mould. The longer you guys allow this to go in-attended to more damage is being done. The more mould/contaminants grows.. you lack of treating this as an urgent matter disgusts me… Explain to me how you think making your tenants live like this is acceptable? In any way shape or form. Why am I paying for a 3 rooms if one isn’t liveable due to you guys not doing anything about your property? How will you justify this

Also I've applied more times then just recently, like I said your application process is terrible, you deny people without properly checking the applications. You are extremely rude. Also you think you run a good business with good customer service. Which is very far from the truth. I do not recommend dealing with this property management business.

Expérience fantastique: Recently I received a window repair from the Glass Dr.. my experience working with them was incredibly smooth. They were very professional, quick to respond and set up an appointment date. The repairman was very efficient with the repairs, was organized and extremely professional. I am very happy with my new window and the service I received.

Expérience négative: I thought I would be safer renting through a property management company but I experienced nothing but issues with these guys. In December 2023, I initially viewed, signed a lease agreement and paid for a 1 bedroom apartment in Innisfil. The night I drove from Hamilton to pick up the keys, it came to light that it was actually a shared space and not a separate 1 bedroom apartment as advertised. So AG Secure instead offered me a different 1bdrm rental they had in Barrie on Queen St., for the same price. I looked at it, it was liveable, had a backyard for my dog and it was the only option I had on short notice because I had already paid them in advance to move in early. I moved in in January 2024, not realizing what a mistake I'd just made. A couple of months into the 1 year lease, construction on the property starts to construct an additional rental structure in the backyard (I never once received 1 piece of communication from AG about this construction). I work from home and wasn't notified that it would be occurring or any of the details, aside from the noise, water was shut off without notice, internet cut without notice, driveway torn up, my apartment inaccessible from outside (had to enter/exit through upstairs tenants space), and backyard unusable. This place is STILL under construction, they never finished. I finally gave up in August to throw in the towel and move on, and the initial response I got from AG was that I signed a 1 year lease and I'm responsible to pay them to find a replacement (whether it was advertised and administered by me or them, they would be paid extra). Several times I emailed and called this company (left voicemail requesting call back) with minimal to no response received to my concerns.... except in the very end when Kerry came back from vacation, called me to apologize, and made the transition to leave a little easier. She is the only one throughout all of this that acted like she gave a shit about a tenant being wronged.

I informed them and in may last 1 year living their they did 4 times pest control and nothing changes. At the end of my 1 year they evicted me by telling i bring the Cockroaches and they charge me $1000 and did not back my last month money. Never do any business with them. They are real slum dogs

Our building had been infested with rodents for years and they could care less to fix or help with anything and that is exactly why we left. A horrible environment for anyone to be in. They do not take care of the properties or grass either, all their places look like a run down mess. Please do something to be better, the whole community would appreciate it.

My church in Burlington, completely outside the territory of AG Secure PM, wanted to lease out the Rectory/Manse using a property management company but had no idea what to expect. This company is nothing more than a maintenance company that does not do the prescribed work it has been assigned, they bully and use manipulative practices hoping that people do not know the law or their rights. Steer very far away from this company if you are a property owner or renter. Always deal direct with the owners of the property. "............. reply to your response Wow, so now you say no notice was given, are you sure about this statement? We have an email from you confirming proper notice? Your crazy bullying tactics will not work on us, lol are you really that foolish that you do not remember sending Shireen an email stating notice was accepted and received? I will post a copy of it later tonight for all the readers of this review and as well to expose your weakness of a properly functioning company. Please attempt to take this to court, it will be a treat to expose you inaptness in running a property management company. As it stands right now, we could come after you for harassment as we have documented email stating you received and accepted Shireen's notice of termination of a month to month tenancy, and now claiming that it was never received. The owners of the property will also be notified of your behavior and will be sent pictures of the work that you were paid for and to this day is still incomplete. This company also arrived at the property to fix a toilet a while back, upon fixing the toilet they used Shireen's guest towels to clean up their mess! When approached and asked why they would do that they replied, *there is no pee water*. What a farce.

I love love love the fact that the rental properties are smoke free and it has helped me cut my smoking in half which is a win for me. The unit was clean fresh and everything works top notch.
