Expérience fantastique: I am going to provide a summary of my experience with the Adam Mills Realty Team up front, but will share our story after in a fulsome way that characterizes the full selling experience we had. To summarize, the support, professionalism, business acumen, and commitment to excellence demonstrated by the Adam Mills Realty Team is second to no one… and our experience even proves it! The full story. We owned a unique horse farm property just on the outskirts of the Ottawa region. We had hired an agent (not Adama Mills Team) who claimed to know horse properties and PROMISED we would have our house sold in weeks… after months, and several meetings requesting to see market data, data tracking potential buyers (ie. A list of people who had come to see the house), it became very apparent this agent had very poor business acumen. I even had to suggest to them how to build a spreadsheet to track people who had visited the house! For those with any sales or business knowledge, this is basic stuff. We had also asked if we should have someone stage the house, and were told no. They sent their photographer who looked familiar… its because it was their office secretary with a basic camera with a nice lens. The pictures, when listed online, skewed all the colors in the house making it look disconjointed. The nail in the coffin for them was when my wife cultivated multiple interested home buyers using her own social media, and when the agent was given all these leads replied with, word for word, “what do you want me to do with these, I don’t have time to reach out to all these people”. They were fired 2 weeks later. Shortly after, we connected with The Adam Mills Team. In contrast, Adam Mills sat with my wife and I, and before even being signed as our agent, the Adam Mills Team demonstrated that they worked based on solid data. The business acumen of his team was incredible. They came to the discussion prepared, showed us what similar houses were selling for in the region, talked to us about what the market was doing, how interest rates were impacting the housing market, current trends as well as anticipated future trends, and gave us confidence in the price point selected. This was a STARK contrast to the previous agent we had. What we also appreciated was their honesty, they never made a statement they could not back, and they never made a promise they could not keep. The Adam Mills Team is exceedingly well organized and collaborative making the entire experience that much better. Once signed, The Adam Mills Team got to work! They recommended an incredible team to stage the house, and once they did their thing, the house looked INCREDIBLE. The space was fresh and felt comfortable, inviting, and warm. Right after that, The Adam Mills Team had their photographer come out to take photos of the house… absolutely STUNNING! My wife is keeping the photos and video as part of her keepsakes to remember this house by… I chatted with the photographer for a bit, he went to school for photography, used a variety of cameras, drones, and even scanned the house for the exact dimensions of the rooms to set up a schematic! WOW! The whole staging and photo process was a breeze and really made a difference in the listing. The best part though, in my opinion, was when an offer came in and The Adam Mills Team went to bat for us…. The negotiating prowess this team has is impressive! They hold their ground for you and will push to get what you want/need in the deal. We were walked through the offer and advised on which parts of the offer were reasonable, which were completely unacceptable, and which parts had room to negotiate. The final deal on our property was fair, market connected, and right where we wanted to land based on the discussions with had with the Adam Mills Team. I can not recommend Adam Mills and the Adam Mills Team enough, they are an incredible team to work with and I am looking forward to contributing to The Team’s ongoing charitable events they host throughout the year. They made not a single misstep and I can not think of a thing that he and his team should change or tweak to make it better. If that was all, I would rate them about 4 stars. What puts them over the top is the access to skilled labour. I required windows and door replacement, electrical work, flooring and a furnace replacement. Each and every professional was extremely fast with superior skill and an incredibly low price. This was mind blowing to me. My house closed in November and they took possession in December. If I had to track down professionals myself, I wouldn't be on the market until next summer at the earliest. And who knows what quality and price. If I could rate Adam and his team higher than 5 stars, I would.

We then met at Adam’s office a few days later to firm up the details of the listing and to review the marketing strategies planned to get the property sold.
