Fantastic experience: I am so disappointed that Google only allows me to leave five stars. That is nowhere near enough to express the accuracy of how wonderful Jeromy Laporte truly is. Buying your first home is supposed to be one of the most exciting milestones of your life, and of course it still is, but anyone who has gone through it knows how overwhelming, emotional, and stressful it can become. Jeromy took an experience that could have been terrifying for us and made us feel supported, protected, informed, and cared for every single step of the way. We unexpectedly needed to sell our condo while living out of town, and from our very first conversation, he made the whole situation feel much less overwhelming. Fantastic experience: Where do I even start with our home buying experience and Jeromy. Buying our first home was a pretty big deal for us and I’m not going to lie, I probably made Jeromy work for this one. Lol. We looked at a lot of houses. I asked a million questions. I changed my mind. I second guessed myself. And then when we finally found the house we ended up buying, I made him take us back to see it over and over again because apparently I needed to walk through the same house a few times before I could decide it was the one. Not once did Jeromy make us feel like we were wasting his time or that we needed to hurry up and make a decision. He just kept saying, “No problem,” and showing up. Even when I’m sure he was thinking, “You guys have literally already seen this house many of times.” What I appreciated the most was that we never felt like Jeromy was just trying to sell us a house. He was honest with us, pointed things out, answered every question we had and gave us the space to make our own decisions. He knew this was our first home and that it was a huge decision for our family. Once we finally said, “ok, this is the one,” he was there through everything that came after too — the offer, negotiations, inspection, repairs and all the back and forth that comes with buying a house. There were definitely some stressful moments along the way, but overall this experience was such a good one and a huge part of that was because of Jeromy. We officially have the keys to our first home now and it still feels a little surreal. Jeromy, thank you for being so patient with us, answering all my questions, showing us more houses than I can probably remember and especially for taking us back to the same house over and over until I finally decided I loved it. You made a huge moment in our lives that much better and we truly appreciate everything you did for us. I would recommend Jeromy to anyone looking for a realtor especially if you’re indecisive, because apparently patience is one of his specialties.

Fantastic experience: If there was a way to give Jeromy more than five stars, I would. He stepped in when I was pretty discouraged with the whole real estate experience (to say the least). Believe me when I say this man earns his keep. He is very much an in-person/over the phone communicator. Not just vague texts, making you feel like “just another client”. Jeremy builds real relationships with his clients whenever possible. He gets to know THEM as people not just a transaction or commission cheque. He is fully aware how important buying or selling a home is to most, he’s aware of all the emotions that go through it, and he sincerely takes the time that others don’t. Despite being as busy as he is, he ALWAYS shows up. No excuses. No BS. And he is as honest as they come. He won’t delude you with unreachable expectations or give false hope, he rides the roller coaster with you. He’s very very much a straight-shooter with a genuine heart. Not to mention a machine! As a first-time home buyer, there was so much I didn’t know going into this process, and I’m incredibly grateful that I had him in my corner. Jeromy didn’t just show me a property. He actually taught me what I should be looking for. He explained things behind the scenes, helped me understand which buildings and situations were worth considering and which ones I should stay away from, and made sure I understood what I was buying instead of simply trying to get me into a home. I never once felt pressured to make a decision. And his help didn’t stop once the sale was made. When there were issues with things that had been damaged in the home, he advocated for me and helped get money back to have them dealt with. He even connected me with someone afterward who could help fix the little things around my new home. He truly went above and beyond what I ever expected from a realtor. What probably says the most about Jeromy, though, are the little things. He listens. He remembers. He made sure the house warming gift he gave me included things I loved. He even included my little birdies on the card he gave me. Those details had absolutely nothing to do with selling me a home; they were simply thoughtful, and they showed me that throughout this process I was never just another client to him.
